Marianne followed Csilen and listened to him talking to the old woman. He lied about the granddaughter, but she didn't really care about that. It wasn't their job to tell them about the deaths of their loved ones. "How did you come here?" She asked the lady.

Marianne waited until the man had left and then stared at Csilen. "What was that?" She asked. She liked him, and he surely had done a good job, but still. She hadn't needed his help. The man had been nice and he wanted to help. She hastily paid someone to bring some food to Serak, as she had promised.

"That's boring." Solona poked the wolf. "Let's play something. We could go and look for a treasure." "Do you want to come princess? We can look for a treasure!" Solona hoped the princess would say yes, she liked the princess. Probably she had a large castle too and Solona liked castles. Maybe she would even find a place where one of her keys fit. That would be cool. Maybe she could find the place where she once lived. She would like to know where she came from.

Althea turned to Vesuvius, looked at him. She tapped Brashen and he quietly moved to observe Hellbent. "I won't hand one of mine over." She told Vesuvius calmly. Traitor or not, Benson belonged to them. And she wouldn't hand him over. They would need to find a solution, but not by offering him up to a stranger, to a criminal. "Is there anything else we could offer, so that you leave the children alone?" She asked and hoped he would say yes. There had to be something. Anything. Max touched their bond, told her he would be home late and suddenly she was glad of that. The situation was bad enough, without him in danger as well. Take your time. After a short pause she added. I love you.

"What do I do?" Solona asked him cheerfully. She waved at princess, she had asked her something? Maybe? Grinning she tried to pat the wolf's shoulder. The fox was speaking, but it was telling the wolf, she couldn't help. But she could. "What do I do?" She repeated and flew towards the fox. "Hi fox. My friend will eat you, and teach me how to be scary. That's so exciting. I hope you don't mind, but you're a fox and you can always go on hiding afterwards."

Althea cursed and the touched the mind of the boy Vesuvius was holding and took him with her to Shadesmar. She created a platform for him the lie on, and then returned, when she saw him collapse on it. She was no healer either he lived, or he didn't. Solona flew in a spiral. "Sure! I'd love to learn to be scary. And we leave the other three alone, I like them." Enthusiastically she attempted to hug the wolf.

Mike dove to the ground and rolled to the side. He stabbed the next precursor and then hid behind a crate to orient himself.

Solona nodded. "You can eat her, if it means we are friends?"

Solona grinned and then stopped. "Wait. So the wolf will be my friend if I let him eat the princess, and the princess, if I'm not friends with the wolf." She played with her keys for a while, caught in the conflict. "But can't we all be friends? You could someone else. The tree maybe." "And you, do you have dresses? Glittering dresses?" Marianne nodded. "Why don't we step outside and get you something to eat?" She proposed and mouthed. Names, please?

Mike nodded and rushed towards the one closest to him. He ducked beneath his arms, then he moved up, and rammed his knife deep into the neck of the man. Then he let the body drop to the ground and turned to one who tried to get behind Bella. The man saw him coming and hit Mike's arm, but then Mike was close enough to use his knives effectively again and he killed the man without hesitating. He had trained this, trained it for years upon years, in simulations, in training and later during assignments.

"I'm scary!" "Did you all hear that? I'm scary!" She turned around on herself and moved through a branch without noticing. "Oh and I'm Solona by the way. Forgot to tell you my name." "Do we want to be friends?"

"You're scary." Solona took a closer look at the wolf. "I wish I knew how to be scary. You know, I'm still young and I scared this general out of my castle, but most of the time people just run away when they see me, but I really would like to be able to scare them." She waved her keys through the air in front of the wolf. "But then, they are only scared because I am a ghost and not because I can be scary, and you are scary, and that's so impressing, you even made her run away and bump into something and I am so excited that I finally met some people who don't run away from me." Using her hand she imitated patting his nose, but as her hand passed through his flesh it looked mostly strange. "And did I say, that you are scary and that I am supposed to be scary. "And they all look differently and I forgot what they can open, but I like them,and I always have them with me." "Oh, but you wanted me to do something, but I forgot what it was." She turned to Rumpelstiltskin, "I always forget things. Stupid me."

Mike screamed in surprise and drew his daggers. "This needs to wait Freyja." he called out to her and hasted after Bella, who'd just killed one of the intruders. "What do you want here?" @Clyde Coggins

Althea checked to make sure they were sitting too tight, and as that was the case she nodded.

Althea leveled her gaze at him, not showing her relief, that the training session was over. She would gladly train, but somewhere private. He would take him to a prison. Alone. "No. Leave him here, until we've seen the one threatening the children. Maybe he recognizes him. Or the other one recognizes Benson." She replied. "The Abductor stated, that he wants to have Benson in his hands, that means if he thinks we killed him, the children are dead."

Starting moves. Let the weapon take hold. Althea held the weapon in her hand and tried to guess which of his moves had been the starting move. She'd have prefered every place to this situation, learning a weapon while Benson watched, while children were threatened, but then she'd never say no to Devaan. Careful to hide her discomfort, she forced herself to recall what he had done. Feeling like a jerk she stabbed into the air and then hastily stepped forward when she lost her balance. Awkwardly she tried to imitate what he had done afterwards, something backwards, or was it the turn? She stumbled over the shaft of the halberd, when she tried both at the same time, and instinctively opened her hands to catch her balance. "Sorry." She muttered and bent down to pick it up again.
