    Anthony was shaken out of his trance by Mike's anger. His face regained color, and he contemplated whether this was just a Mike thing, or if this was something he should join in, supporting the leader of the Guns N' Ninjas. He stood there, torn between the options. ~-~-~-~-~ Ronin looked at the stage, grinning that Anthony had been selected. Then that upstart. The child had the nerve to go against his superiors, his betters? Ronin didn't like it. But Ronin wasn't in charge, so Ronin wouldn't intervene. ~-~-~-~-~ Lord Arkos growled under his breath, his fists clenched in fury. He shook a little bit. This boy, Mason, had the audacity to refuse them. Well, Ark would show him. Ark had punished Matthew before. He hadn't killed him. He had done far worse. But he had also given him a gift. This time... this time Ark wouldn't be so kind to little Michael. He would make Maximus pay.

    @MetaTerminal, I like this a loooooooot. But I do have a formal complaint with the month dedicated to the Ghostbloods. It doesn't make any sense, and the Gilded Rose wasn't an alternate name. It was a completely different thing, and was more Bureau related. It just couldn't be the month name, sorry. I suggest something with ghost in the name, but not ghostbloods.

He clapped when the crowd clapped, and waited, excited, to see who would be promoted today. ~-~-~-~-~ Ronin grinned lightly, not really caring who got promoted. ~-~-~-~-~ Ark watched, nodded at Mr. Itiah's speech. It was a fine one. Not by any means the best he had heard, but it was good.

    Well, go figure. I have to go to Tacoma, and probably won't be able to shard while there. Thanks, parents.
