  1. I plan on running a side plot with Darth, which we have previously brought up the sales pitch for. I can try and have it eventually interweave as necessary.
  2. i hope so 468
  3. apparently, google can translate eastern street slang/high imperial
  4. yeah, most definitely the story is full of worldhopper references, including other worlds curses, and a literal shade
  5. The stairs, as Golda is being brought up, begin to shake even more heavily, and just after they get past, a wall falls in, filling the passageway with dirt, stone, and bricks. Back in the cell of the Wered's, the ceiling is starting to groan, all of it bowing as if it's about to fall. In the hallway, it seems the masonry had multiple levels, because layers of bricks are falling, and starting to block up the cells. ~-~-~-~-~ The scream echoing out, the throaty voice, cuts off, and the fog suddenly blasts outward, spears of purple and black death shooting in all directions, spearing any in the way, along with buildings and structures nearby. In the center is Crow, but not like she was when she went in. Clothes ripped, torn, almost non-existant. Hair an oily black, eyes turned a solid scarlet. Purple and black fog incircling her feet, hands, and neck. The feet have a faint line connecting them, as do the hands, and a fainter line connecting the neck to the hands, to the feet. Any who look close would easily make the connection that these are magical chains, though they don't appear to restrain much. Strangest of all, the unearthly pale leg replacing the destroyed one, as if it had never seen the light of day. As she stands, straight again, the tears that soak her face seemingly out of place, she sticks her head in the air, breathing deeply, the shield still in place. An eerie smile stretches across Crow's face, entirely out of place, as if the lips are being contorted by strings. The shardblade drops into her hand again, and the shield drops, as her scarlet eyes lock on Brother-sergeant Pietr, and she begins sprinting, the line lengthening and shrinking, giving her pure control- or at least, giving something pure control. She moves faster then she ever could have before, running through a lamp post, breaking it under her. The metal splintering slashes across the face, and for a second, something within tries to flinch, but whatever is in charge keeps sprinting, uncaring for the damage caused, and is almost caught up, ignoring any weapon firing against her. @Silva
  6. A faint screech could be heard in the distance, more of a whine then anything else. Crow decided on another plan of action, grabbing the nearby slide, and ripping it out of the ground, her leg buckling as she fell to the ground, her other leg completely detaching. She grabbed the pole near the slide, pulling herself up, and waited, standing behind the slide, using it almost as a shield. All this time, the whine got louder and louder, until it was filling the area, residents waking up, fearful and in pain, shouts echoing. Compile would watch as Crow's entire body was withering to a nearly skeletal state, except the detached leg, becoming old and frail. And suddenly, a pitch black fog, with veinlike purple glowing streaks, surrounded Crow entirely, having pulsed out of an alley with lightning speed. It swirled, the entire outside suddenly lighting up with a shine, any attacks that would be made bouncing off, as the fog inside swirled rapidly, slowly becoming more and more purple, and the entire fog, shielded outside included, slowly shrinking in to the body, swirling closer and closer. And from inside, the sound of a raspy, dried, cracked woman's voice. Screaming in horrible, horrible pain.
  7. @Chaos maybe pin this too, as a sorta guide/PSA?
  8. @kenod yes and yes, they would both be alright
  9. Crow howled, a furious raging howl. Her eyes faded from the coals, becoming green once again. She turned, limping, and began to move towards Compile, beginning the process of summoning her shardblade. "You little bastard." Her face contorted as she gets hit in the chest by a bolt. Luckily, she was wearing underarmor, barely stopping the blast. As she growled, empty of the power, the presence, that had sustained her for so long, she swung her arm forward, as she leaped with her good leg, the shardblade appearing midair as it swung directly toward Compile's face, but at the same time, everyone around could watch as she began to almost wither, her veins turning black, and the skin drying. The entire cell suddenly became alight with aons, hundreds of them, covering each and every wall. A pulse of light shot from them, on every side, a heat that while it wouldn't kill, would leave severe burns. Then a sound like gears shifting. Echoing throughout the room. It got louder with each turn, and anyone in the room would feel the ground begin to shake, stones falling as the ceiling began to dislodge, the floor cracking, the bars becoming loose. And in each cell, at the same time, a second pulse came, one that attempted to immobilize the muscles of everyone in the cell. The entire manor was crumbling.
  10. So, uh, little inaccuracy here. While that thread is the most prominent one this era, we don't have a main plot for this one. In terms of next era: I'm hoping to wrap this plot up quickly, we'll try not to hold you all up. I would also like to publicize a little bit of ghostblood planning. Next era, our plan is that the ghostbloods will be much more criminal, less public. A secret organization of spies, assassins, and the 'cleanup crew'. Oasis will be more a secret smugglers den, a den of thieves, if you will. Also, I would assume, as our policy has been lax recently, characters would be able to switch guilds.
  11. The bug just sort of allows itself to be scooped up, twitching slightly. Turns out it has just been a regular bug the whole time
  12. @Grey Knight
  13. i really like this game 209
  14. I personally have a very simple viewpoint on this: to each their own. As long as it isn't, as you said, torture or gore, there is no problem with that. Go ahead and enjoy it. I don't think there is anything wrong with that myself.
  15. Crow raised her eyebrows. "Curious. Very curious." She stood, leaving the slide with a large bend, and walked closer to Compile. She leaned down, looking the little girl directly in the face, her eyes fading to the pulse of a coal as they scanned back and forth on her face. "If this is what you wish, I will give you three of your cousins. Except the littlest two. Take your pick." She stands, back straightening to her full height, and flips up her head, red glowing eyes from within a hood of darkness. She crosses her arms, muscles bulging beneath the hoodie. "Hemalurgy is a delicate art. A beautiful craft that you must treat with great care. Make sure you are ready if that is what you wish to learn."
  16. Crow chuckled, a hollow, scratchy sound. "I am not here to kill you. I am here to... parley. Find out what you want, what advantage you think this will give you, and take that advantage and twist it to my own." She seemed completely unconcerned with the fact that she'd just laid out her entire plan to the opponent, instead just sitting there, on the slide, fists clenching and unclenching as she examined the back of her hands. "So. What is it you have to say?"
  17. Crow approached the park as dusk fell, wearing only a black leather jacket and a couple of pewter bracelets. Any who saw her would probably assume her a koloss-blooded, perhaps a pewter ferring tapping as well. She walked into the park, and settled down onto a slide across from Compile. The slide groaned, bending at a harsh angle, but remained unbroken. Crow Blackice looked up at Compile, eyes a burning charcoal blaze. "Hello girl."
