People you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley
Ark1002 replied to Voidus's topic in The Alleyverse
We'd have to ask Brandon to know for sure. -
"You storming hypocrite. We have given you permission to kill your aggressors. And you go, and try to remove our ability to hold invading armies, out." She turned to the Marine. "The majority of guilds didn't send help. Again, TUBA didn't send help, and they have allied themselves closely with the church." "And those spacecrafts were, again, invading. This is our property, and you sent armed vehicles to attack." @Vargo Seldon @Grey Knight

She laughed, but it was scared. "I can escape." Her eyes betrayed fear, and one tear trickled out. "And maybe take our daughters." She put her hands around his waist. "What would it mean, if you turned yourself in?" @JacobAccurateClaessen

He looked at him. "Really? If so, we have many things we could want your help with." @xinoehp512

It would probably be easier to use multiple spikes to have similar effects, to be honest -
He shook his head. "No. I come here for me, and my family. But it was my decision." He looked at her. "I, for witnesses, require only who needs to see it." @Sorana

The old lady chuckled. "Obstruction of justice? How the hell did we do that?" She gestured with her cane at the reps. "The Diagramists didn't send help, neither did TUBA itself. TUBA, the 'just and kind' guild." She looked at him. "Even you didn't, during battle. You helped the mess, but nothing was actually saved." She gestured around. "Almost all of you have been warful. We have not, and even now, when our mountains are being invaded, we haven't. Gone. To. War." She smiled, stepping back. "And furthermore, what did we do to obstruct investigation of the Waiter? Nothing. We didn't even support the Ghostbloods, because there wasn't a vote. There wasn't even an investigation! The Waiter is dead!" She stepped back, breathing heavily. Tapping a bit of breath, and a trickle of strength, she grinned. "We are negotiating, to keep an intelligent race alive, except for aggressors. The Black Crusade nuked a city, should we slaughter you?" Again she tapped more breath, more strength. "You idiots showed less reaction than us! You stand there in metal armor, looking down on us, but you. Have. Nothing. Stupid children like you, accusing your betters, like a child rebelling against the teacher." Now, she sighed. "And when did we show sympathy? We know the Ghostbloods didn't do it, we have a treaty with the Ghostbloods, so even so we have reason. You have nothing," she said with a growl, "And you accuse us." @

"I do not believe so." His thoughts said something else. Tena is in the Ghostbloods, would that count? @Sorana

That's not true, shown already by the smoke soulcaster

He picked up the bow, and followed.
-
He grinned. "Good." He held out his hand, hoping he'd shake it.
-
He nodded as he stood. "Yes. I will be loyal." @Sorana
-
Pretty good.
-
His head slowly went up, and his back straightened, revealing his full height, 7 foot 1 inch. "I must prove myself. I must show that I can fight, can kill, for a group I believe in." He paused. "I need to learn to fight, even more than before. I must protect Tena, protect Solstice." He pulled his bow of his back. He kneeled, setting it before him, one fist planted on the ground, one hand on his knee. He looked up, at her face. "Please. Let me join you." @Sorana

I don't think anything of that showed up (could be wrong), meaning that that piece of information is incorrect.

"I... I am not Hellbent." He was proud of how confident his voice was. The first part had stumbled a bit, but after that it was strong. He repressed the image of a whip, flashing towards the back of a child. "Yes, I am genetically identical to the man, the thing named Hellbent." Again, the memories were back. Stronger, this time. But he kept going. "But that man would never have been capable of having a family, of loving. As I have." He shook his head. "I may not be Hellbent, but I still wish to join the Ghostbloods." He bowed his head. "But never, never am I to lead." His eyes flashed. "I will be loyal. But I must not lead." @Sorana

"Baking, maybe. I have experience." He pulls out a card, showing DA credentials. "Uh, crap, wrong one." He shoved it back into his pocket, this time pulling out an obviously forged TUBA card.

Ark, no longer drunk or depressed, walks through the door. "I need a job."
