  1. Congratulations, Voidus!!!!
  2. Beldre was also my thought, though Allrianne could make sense. I also wondered if Tindwyl would fit. I can't remember the context Lady Truth was mentioned it, so it might not fit.
  3. Okay, wow. I mean, I understood I was going to draw fire from my play last cycle, but really, cook? 3 in a row? I'm just glad someone believed me enough to help me out. So, thanks, Saver, and Cook, go poison someone else, please. Arraenae's death is the interesting one to me. She was fairly new and has only played one or two games prior to this. My gut says the kill was from someone in LG15 who saw her learning a lot and becoming quite a good player. Venture's attack is unsurprising, the interesting part is his survival. When he claimed to be a Captain and a Runner, that immediately would draw fire from any Diagrammists and potentially enemy faction cooks. I didn't think he fished for protection well enough, as he didn't claim a faction, so neither side know if they wanted to save him or not. I guess someone anticipated the Diagrammists' plan though, and got it just right. This doesn't feel quite like a WGG to me. It's possible, but doesn't ring true to me.
  4. I'm actually in Logan, UT now. It's not a huge deal though, just nearer the north border.
  5. Wow, y'all got busy today! This is going to be a big post, so just hold on to your hats and go for the ride. First off, let me explain my post yesterday with the lists of supposed faction alliances. I did this for a number of reasons. The first was that I wanted to bait Thaidakar into counterclaiming me, because I wouldn't mind his death. Second was finding others' openness to sharing their factions and discovering what factions said people were in. I always play the information game as has been said, and I will try to win, and while that takes the Primary Win condition first, the Secondary is just as important. Cutting off the head of the Ghostbloods would be a nice boon for my faction. The third and most important reason was to generate discussion, as Stink and Hellscythe also tried to do. I'd say that aspect was a success, judging by the nine pages we have already. I voted for Hellscythe because if it came down to Stink and HS as it was, I'd rather kill someone not proclaiming to be in my faction. I answered the second part above. I'd like to know how you know that your faction leader is a Runner or a Bondsmith, if you don't mind. Me too! I'll agree on that one. Venture, why did you roleclaim as you did? You didn't even let your faction know what side you are on. All you did was paint a target on your back from Cooks and Diagrammists. PMs are much more helpful to the village than the eliminators in a game where Eliminators have a doc, like this one, and thus, shutting down PMs would be easy if all Runners are going to keep claiming in the thread. I understand that part, that's part of why I did what I did as well. 5 is what I don't quite understand. Like Ada said, the more the Eliminators know, the better for them. Especially since you are one of the few players to have access to PMs, you can share information without making it public. But I do see part of your argument, for the same reason I'm somewhat known for dumping roles into the thread when I'm lynched. It's never lost the game for the villagers, but in this game, I don't think Role needs to be shared. If you want to share your faction, go for it. If you want to reveal your placement in that faction as well, fine, but it'll hurt your team a bit. But you don't need to reveal your role. That only helps you lose. I'd have thought people would've learned better after LG14 where I gathered most of the roles in a couple of days. How do you know the numbers? I voted for Hellscythe because of the two candidates at the time, I preferred lynching HS first, not necessarily because of his vote on Stink. Saying that Creccio is extremely suspicious and then not voting for him is extremely suspicious. If you're not willing to lynch someone based on the possibility that they might be one of your faction's KR, when will you ever lynch? What part of this are you lost on? If you're lost, Ada has summaries of every post that you can read through or you can ask people for clarification. Just saying that you're lost and don't want to die doesn't help whatsoever. Survival is not the most important goal. You can win even if you're dead. This game does have that alternate Win Con, but I find that very unlikely to happen, so survival is not as important as killing the Diagrammists and the KR on the opposing team. How could you be communicating with someone? That doesn't make any sense. The only reason to do that secretly is if you have some reason to trust someone and want to tell them something. I don't think that's a Diagrammist move except that it's possibly trying to distract us. I'm not sure where I'll be placing my vote for now, but I will be voting.
  6. Correct. Of all the players, you gave the least information. Props to you for that. That was exactly the intention, thank you, Elb. Though whether I'm Thaidakar or not, I would claim it, because now people think I must not be Thaidakar as I got a lot of placements wrong(apparently), therefore it is now an I Know You Know if someone tries to kill me if they think I am Thaidakar, and now I potentially received protection from my faction's Surgeons/Edgedancers.
  7. Hellscythe. I think I see what you're doing and I'll help out. I was waiting for Restares, but since he hasn't come out yet, I guess I will. I'm Thaidakar(Surprise!!!). I have the list of my faction and, by default, the list of the Sons as well. I'll be scrambling the list so that positions aren't evident. Ghostbloods 1. Seixa (Phattemer): A man who believes he's a Skybreaker Squire 2. Hellscythe (Hellscythe) 3. Locke Tekiel (Orlok) 4. Deadeye (Kynedath) 5. Kholak Bagar (Honey Badger) 6. Inor Haze (Creccio) 7. Arran Faenel (Aonar) 8. Walter Kysley (polking): an Azish soldier 9. Baheal Edr (Hael): son of the late Ableah 10. Maximilianos Sebarial (Venture) 11. Sheon Idris (Seonid): the late King of Arelon, somehow in Urithiru? 12. Arina (Arraenae) 13. Edurams (Sart) 14. Cla (Clanky) 15. Ashei Ghetti (Burnt Spaghetti) 16. Elba (Elbereth) 17. Starri (Starry Smite): an overlooked brightlady 18. Malarn (Maill): a man who stinks Sons of Honor: 1. Kael of the Forge (Elkanah): an eager emigrant 2. Krippe (Kipper): a Urithiru postmaster 3. Jain (Lightsworn Panda): a walking, talking panda 4. John Doe (Stink): A man who thinks he's a fish 5. Frank "Gold Frank" Au Faliu (Feligon): a pirate with an nonflying(?) pirate ship, looking for his brother 6. Zas (Zas): a creative shoemaker seeking flesh for new shoes 7. Agrigar Leiken (Adavantos) 8. Aleral (Araris) 9. Yallah (Tony Shark) 10. Mace (Mace Windu): a strange man who wields a purple sword-thing 11. Alycia Kavdar (RippleGylf) 12. Moros (DeathClutch) 13. Slalassalas (Paranoid King): swordfighter who's "defeated" many Horneaters 14. Bort (Bort) 15. Lorna (Alvron): a huntress 16. Citona Vinid (Shallan) 17. Torren (Twei): an ex-Skybreaker Radiant, ditched by his spren 18. Lopen (The Mighty Lopen) Now that's out of the way, so we don't have to be all sneaky and clever about reveals. Let's get down to defeating the Diagrammists now.
  8. And you managed to freak me out. Good job!
