    Aman's referring to the fact that he's claimed to be a Duelist and by also being a Senator, he can protect himself. I'll admit that I'd rather he use his protections on others in the Senate who I trust more. Sorry, but we all gotta make our sacrifices.

    I suspect Aman just slightly more than El, but they're fairly even in my mind. I trust Ecthelion and Elenion mostly. Eol is another that, like Ecth, I also have a weird gut feeling about. I'd like to hear from Sart, Seonid, and Emily as well. Concerning the current makeup of the Senate, I'd like to recall Aman if we aren't going to scan Senators. (That is the right color for recall votes, yeah?)

    I just want to say that, depending on Mek's answer to my question above, the eliminator teams might not be inactive, just targeted a Merchant. @Mckeedee123 ?

    @Comatose Not to be too pushy, but if at all possible, would you mind pushing the Altermind sample higher on your priorities? I leave in 3 weeks and will basically be dropping off the Shard in 2 and I'd like to get this all sorted ASAP. Does anyone wish to adopt Flashpoint and/or Edgerunner? Aside from Altermind, they're the ones I care most about getting taken care of.

    Alright, guys, I'm back! I skimmed through and read most of the thread and Senate that I missed, but bear with me if I missed something. I'm just going to go through my thoughts. Congrats on getting Eramit taken care of. Aman pointed this out, and I just wanted to say that a WGG on El was my first thought too. Where was the second kill? Mek, if a merchant is targeted for a kill while they are on a trip, does it show up in the writeup? Apparently I accrued some suspicion while I was gone? Anyone care to explain why that is? I'm all for being scanned. That might get me into the Senate. Think that was it for now. Night, all.

    I think I am still going to stick to a vote on Elodin, as he's my best lead and I don't know if I'll be able to check back in again this cycle. I'd also suggest Eramit or Straw(if he's not lynched) for the scan. Either would work for me.

    While Eramit's post is, as has been pointed out, unlikely, to say the least, I do agree with part of it. I do think the Jeskeri were involved in the lynch swap as Aman or Meta said. Once it became clear he was going to be lynched, I'm betting one of them, at least, joined that wagon. So while I don't know how much the Derethi were involved, I think the Jeskeri definitely were. El, I would like to point out that while "banking on a teammate to get the result is risky and dumb" is correct and I agree, the alternative was that Cloud was getting lynched. So, in the scenario where you're both on an evil team together, it was either let a teammate die D1 or take a 20% chance you help him survive a lot longer and the 80% chance he at least survives another day. I don't think this is all that likely, but I do see the possibility that Eramit brings up.

    Except that we're letting the corruption, if any, grow. I think I fall on Eol's side here. I think we should scan any Senators who don't die and aren't recalled. I'd like to be more confident that the scan results are going to be honest. Since I doubt either of the eliminator factions started with multiple Senators, if we scan them all, we should get honest results except for if the 20% falls on the Senator themself. Because of that, I would prefer to keep the Senate full, so that the chance of a Senator getting their own scan is reduced.

    Interesting. I'm not actually opposed to this at all, as it's hard enough not commenting on it. It does kinda undercut the purpose of the doc though, and would make it pointless for Mek to have added that to the rules. I guess it doesn't really matter what I think about this anyways, only the Senators. I'm going to also throw my real vote on Elodin, since I'm not sure how much I'll be able to be on before rollover. What does the Senate think of the second place scan suggestion?

    Alright, looking back over the Bard lynch train that came and went real quick, I think Elodin is one of the more suspicious of the ones there. I'm trying to decide if I'd rather have him scanned or lynched, though, really, either would work for me. I also liked Aman's idea in the doc about scanning the second most voted for player. I'm personally fine with either Cloud or Elodin, or even Eramit, though he hasn't been voted for much. I don't see the point in scanning or lynching Conq though, as he's inactive so far. Edit: Ninja'd by Seonid on the second place thing.
