  1. I'm here. I'm just biding my time until Lefty gets his wits together to fight. (Read: he's at scout camp. )
  2. Delightful, not yet, but it plan to make one. If you want to discuss how they'll work together, send me a pm.
  3. This was such a fun game even if I was dead for most of it. I look forward to any game you may ever GM in the future, Rubix. Only one question, why didn't you answer any of my dead boons?
  4. The dead doc was so much fun this time. I feel bad for those who read it though. Khas, everyone is now scared of you, hence the three attacks on you in one night.
  5. Just because you talked about peace doesn't mean I'll attack you. I'll wait for our duel first.
  6. No one else had the capabilities to. A Windrunner with an is quite difficult to beat. Even Dalinar, the Blackthorn that he is, can't fly into the air like Szeth or Kaladin. Adolin, with all his dueling prowess, can't fight well while being Lashed sideways. No one but Kaladin had the ability to catch Szeth. That's the only way Szeth could've been caught and beaten.
  7. How so? I promised you would remember me when I came back and you did. I made enough of a scene that you all remember it.
  8. Then it's a truce for now. I have no doubt in that aspect either. Till you get back.
  9. I love that chasm, but I've always pictured it more of a Southern-Utah, slot canyon or Arches type of canyons.
  10. I won't be able to tomorrow. Hmm. Truce, then? Or do you want to do it when you get back? Elsa, two judges from Newcago is not at all fair.
  11. Thank you, lord Chaos, for supporting me in this cause.
  12. Altermind had grown up in Portland. He'd lived there all his life. The Portland he saw now was not anything like the Portland of his childhood. Epics ruled and fought everywhere, fires burned, and people were afraid. Altermind had always been a smart kid. He had aced all of his tests throughout all of school and always kept straight A's. He had loved superheroes and comics. Batman was his favorite hero because he had relied not on powers, but gadgets to save people. Milton, as he used to be called, wanted to grow up to be like Batman. He never had been popular or handsome, though. He was a nerdy kid with scrawny arms and an ugly birthmark on his neck. One day, Calamity answered his prayers. Milton woke up one morning and realized he thought differently. He could change what people saw, or felt, or heard, or even smelled. He could even carry objects with his mind, as long as they were close. But being an Epic took it's toll on Milton's mind as well. He slowly became less loving and more selfish. He cared for his well-being and wished to rule. He no longer used the name Milton Towren. He cast off that mantle of the past and took on the mantle of Altermind; the mental Epic of Portland. Other Epics came and others left. Killscream, Gazerbeam, Earthmover. Not many had been in Portland their entire lives. Not many who came later survived. Altermind was one of the first Epics in Portland and one of the few who had lasted this long. Altermind had a small zone he ruled in northwest Portland. Thoughttown, he called it. Only those of sufficent mental capacity were allowed to stay there. Altermind created a test to root out the imbeciles of the town and keep the useful ones. The ones allowed to stay were put to work in factories to produce weapons and energy that Altermind would need. He worked with a minor Epic, Scorch, to maintain peace. Scorch was a fire Epic. He could create small fireballs with nothing but his mind and hands. Scorch had just barely passed Altermind's test, but Altermind kept him because of how useful his power was. Leftinch, can you submit a character profile in the "Question" thread so we know more about your character? And, if anyone wants to write as Scorch, let me know. I think it'd be fun.
  13. Lefty, I accept the challenge. Monday at 3?
  14. I added more to Altermind's appearance. Here it is: Appearance: Not many know his true appearance as he often causes people to think he looks differently than his real self. He is a shorter-than-average, quite scrawny twenty-four year old. He has pale blue eyes and short blond hair in a buzz cut. He has a birthmark on his neck and many freckles. Only a few people in the entire country know what he looks like. Most were killed. Since he became an Epic, he has changed everyone's perception of himself. His standard hallucination is a tall, muscular man in his late twenties. That's who most people recognize as Altermind. He is very tan and has wavy, blond hair with brown eyes. Altermind always carries a handgun in his underarm holster and a pouch of bullets on his hip. He usually carries a rifle on his back, but not always. A bulletproof vest is what he eats, sleeps and breathes in. He can't stand not having that protection. Hometown: Portland I'll be posting my intro soonish today. Delightful, what do you think about my human character working with yours? We can take this into PM's, if you want.
  15. It's me and Joe versus Leftinch and BT. I don't think this qualifies as war. Just a duel.
  16. "I planned to nominate Joe as my second. I'm glad he volunteered. So, Lefty, weapons duel or drinking duel? You choose."
  17. But using "Awesome points" would totally be reasonable, I think, as they are just a made up currency that can be used to show how successful the merc is without affecting other things on this site.
  18. For good taste, you shouldn't do anything that directly involves my character and RP for me. It's okay so far, but that means I not letting myself die so easily this time around. Using Progression and Stormlight's regular healing, Mailliw quickly healed all of his bruises and injuries from the mass of soda cans. It had tasted pretty good though, he had to admit. That cursed Knave and the Scholar, Mailliw thought. He detested them. Once healed, he summoned one of his Shardblades and sheared through all the soda and flew outfoxed the hole In the ground. "Leftinch, I challenge you to a formal duel. What say you? Your Queen can even be the referee, if you so desire."
  19. "Guess who's Baaack?" Mailliw proclaimed as he swooped into Newcago. Landing, yet again, in the center of the square, he shouted, "I am back and here to try this mysterious Soda pop. Oh, I'm also back to maintain the honor of the Featherswornthroughout the Cosmere." As he raised his Featherspear, the hosts of the Feathersworn Elsecalled, fell, flew, Steelpushed, iron pulled, and used Aons to rally behind Mailliw. "The Feathersworn you see here are willing to battle to defend our honor. But not today. Feathersworn, back to your positions." The Featherwarriors all left again, leaving feathers to float down in their places. "War today is not necessary, but never forget the multitude of the Feathersworn. Now, BreathTaker, can I try some of that soda?"
