The Sportsman's Warehouse plot is back on track. One casualty so far for TT.

Altermind and Joshua sat in the Planning room as, one by one, the other Epics and Travis showed up. The last to come in was Voidgaze and Flashpoint. Apparently, she had been in the kitchens and found a snack to eat while she was there. "Mason is dead. He was a traitor and manipulator. He is no more of a worry to us though. Planning for our fight, how does that Sportsman's Warehouse sound?"

Altermind saw as Joshua finished off Mason. The body lay, dead, as the blood began to pool up around it. Altermind called in his mobile for a cleaning team to clean up the blood and body. Flashpoint landed next to him. "Boss, I saw the last part of the fight from above. He's dead?" "Yes. Get everyone back in the Planning Room. I'll get Psy-Fi and meet you there," Altermind told his security Epic. His guards he had knocked out were coming back to now, after Mason's hold on their minds had vanished. Altermind walked down the stairs and found Josh. "Joshua. I'm sorry. We need to meet together and finish planning. Death and sorrow can't get in the way."

Out of the corner of his eye, Altermind saw Joshua and Mason locking in intense combat. Mason somehow still fighting even with the screams in his head. Dropping the illusion of guards on his side, Altermind put a white screen on Mason as well. He wasn't sure how well it would work with his telepath abilities still active, but he was going to try and help Joshua as much as he could. He gave the guard on his knees a solid kick to the back of the head and sent him sprawling to the floor. One of the last two, the one with a white screen, was heading towards Altermind, controlled by Mason. The other, fighting against screams in his head, was heading towards Joshua's back. Altermind knew he had to do this. He regretted it, but he aimed and sent a bullet flying towards the guard on a collision course with Joshua. Pushing on it with his mind, it ripped through the skull of the guard and out the other side. The man dropped to the ground with a vacant expression in his eyes. Altermind spun around his last guard putting a hallucination of himself staying in front to confuse the man. He rammed both the hilt of his knife and the butt of his gun into the back of the last guard's head. Like his comrades, he fell to the floor of the roof. Altermind dropped all his hallucinations and created one for Mason, one of sharp pain in his side and in his feet.

Altermind put a hallucination up of a horde of guards charging up in front of Joshua. Might as well worry Mason. He drew the long knife he had had his guard procure for him the night before. The throwing knife was in a scabbard at his waist. Altermind also drew his gun. He didn't want to kill any of his guards, but if they attacked, he knew he might have to. Running right behind Josh, he created hallucinations in Mason's brain of high pitched screaming. Seeing four of his guards on the roof as well, he gave two of them the hallucination as well. One dropped to his knees, covering his ears. Altermind threw up a white screen hallucination for the other two guards. They could see nothing now. He hit one on the back of the head with the butt of his gun, using his telekinesis to thrust it even harder. The man collapsed, unconscious.

Altermind noticed that both he and Joshua turned the same way instinctively. Realizing that it was probably the mental push of a telepath, Altermind agreed to let Josh take the lead. "Agreed. Do you know what the range on his powers is?" Altermind hadn't roamed these halls aimlessly in a long time. Since before Calamity. As a high school student, a friendless one at that, he had walked these halls many times over. Joshua had been his only friend, but even he wasn't great friends with Altermind. Luckily, the day Altermind had killed the students in the school, Joshua had been sick at home. After leaving that day, he realized what he could do and began taking over the area. He used the high school as his HQ to remind him of his past. He had been made fun of, bullied, beat up, emotionally tortured. He needed these halls to remind him that he wasn't invincible, but also to remind himself of how far he had come.
