Cosmere character theme songs
The Harlem Worldhoppers replied to The Harlem Worldhoppers's topic in Cosmere Discussion
So it can be the lyrics of the song or just the song title. Good point about Denth but Vasher is very stalkery towards Vivenna initially before warming up to her. -
Having Fantasy withdrawal symptoms
The Harlem Worldhoppers replied to Barbarian AL's topic in General Discussion
Wheel of Time is worth a shot. I don't know if you've read it but Brandon himself wrote the final 3 books and it has the level of world building and magic system development that could give you that fantasy hit to ease your withdrawal. -
Dark One - TV Series
The Harlem Worldhoppers replied to Andy92's topic in General Brandon Discussion
Major downside would be realising that Freddo's in the year 2100 cost $236 and a floating Nixon head is president :/ -
I was just wondering what songs or song titles do you feel would fit the characters we have come to love. I'll start: Vasher: Every breath you take Kaladin: Sound of Silence Nightblood: Don't stop me now Let's continue this in the comments below

Dark One - TV Series
The Harlem Worldhoppers replied to Andy92's topic in General Brandon Discussion
Equally pumped up over here. Hopefully if this is well received then it might accelerate the production of other Sanderson adaptations. I wish I was a pulser so I could fast forward to the point in time where we get to see Brandon's books on screen. -
Greetings, Fellow Sanderfans!

I have a feeling that Taln is one of the most skilled combatants in the Cosmere. He's the Herald of War after all. If he pulls himself together I struggle to see Vin take this one though his current mental instability is a huge weakness. -
Yes please. I was a little bit disappointed that we didn't find out much more about the Ghostbloods in OB. I guess that's a story arc Brandon has on a slow burn. Chana as a dust bringer Herald would be interesting especially since she might have knowledge on how Ashyn was destroyed. I'd love to see an Ishar-Dalinar confrontation at some point

It is possible that because he sees himself as bald he is unable to regrow hair on his head. Perception is an underrated aspect of Cosmere Magic systems. If that's not the case then I can imagine people on Scadrial wearing shirts saying 'I shaved Death's head' being a bandwagon people would jump on

Welcome to the Shard! @StarGazer If you could see a fight between 2 characters from any Cosmere books who would they be and why? I'm all for Kelsier vs Hoid myself -

Granted, but you suddenly become terrible at finance management. I wish I could read future Cosmere books right now -

You Know You're a Sanderfan When...
The Harlem Worldhoppers replied to Shardbearer's topic in General Brandon Discussion
When you normally gloss over background characters in books but now you obsessively pore over their description and dialogue to see if they might be a worldhopper -
Welcome to The Shard! How did you discover the Sanderson? For me it was through the final 3 books of Wheel of Time

Thanks @Naurock, any feedback is appreciated.I made a separate post digging into the Sja Anat angle to flesh it out a bit more.

[OB] Who do you look forward to seeing?
The Harlem Worldhoppers replied to Toaster Retribution's topic in Stormlight Archive
I suppose the lower interest is because they are barely mentioned at all. Our curiosity has not been piqued. Ishar is one of the most prominent Herald's we have 'seen' and his nature as a bondsmith would be fascinating to explore. We were teased about The Sibling during OB and it is the third godspren and I can't wait to find out more about it. The Ghostbloods are the only secret society on Roshar whose motivations are unknown, and Thaidakar has been mentioned as their leader so I'd love to see him appear. I think we'll find out a lot about the Heralds and what they've been up to these last 4000 years next book. Maybe an Ash or Taln PoV where they offhandedly mention Battar or Pailiah would drum up more interest in them. -

[OB] Who do you look forward to seeing?
The Harlem Worldhoppers replied to Toaster Retribution's topic in Stormlight Archive
Thaidakar-the mysterious leader of the ghostbloods. What do they want? Is Thaidakar a worldhopper we have seen before? The Sibling- the nature of the 3rd godspren is a mystery. Who will bond it? Rlain 2020? Ishar- What is he capable of? Is he irreparably crazy? -
Yes there would be limits to this spiritweb manipulation. Brandon has been on record saying it is the limitations of his magic systems rather than the powers themselves that he enjoys the most. The Unmade in general seem OP in many ways. The Thrill is capable of driving thousands of soldiers to mindless bloodlust, Yelig-Nar provides its host access to all ten surges, Re-Shephir can make an army, Ba-Ado-Mishram can grant voidlight. The Unmade are splinters of Odium so it makes sense that they are on a high power scale. Altering an individual's spirit web to some degree seems within the ball park of what an Unmade could do in my opinion, especially since SA is powerful enough to corrupt higher spren.
