Silas looked down the stairs, and in a quiet, ragged voice, said, "You should probably start eating."

Silas sat in his office, his skin paling rapidly after hearing the words of the voice on the other side of the phone call.

Tyler walked through past the nearest window behind Jordan making a rude gesture towards him.

Tyler slid up. "Sorry I'm late." With that, he summoned his Blade and began attacking.

Tyler walked down the hallway, up the stairs to the top floor, and then pulled down the trapdoor to the newly soundproofed attic. "You really shouldn't be so rude," Douse said. "They have feelings too." "Feelings that I don't care about. Sorry about the way I treated you earlier. Now shoo. I gotta practice," Tyler responded.

Tyler, in a rare moment of kindness, smiled. "I would love to, but I really need to practice. Jazz band tryouts are in three days. I got in last year and the year before, but this year, I've got competition."
