  1. You have beaten me in the ninja wars @Doomstick... ...for now...
  2.:ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r::ph34r: Giant ninja is a bad ninja. Everyone notices the giant ninja. (I was going to put a ninja here, but there's this thing called an emoji limit - no more than 75 in one post)

    The Shine and the Rust

This might sound weird, but I love Lita's eyebrows in all your drawings of her. They're just so full of skepticism.
  4. The power of adding one is far more efficient.
  5. Welcome, Mike! Which Sanderson character is your favorite?
  6. Nightwatcher looks at you and raises an eyebrow. "You came to me for that?" Then she sends you on your way without a Boon or a Bane because if you want to make a three day necro, you don't need to bother her. I wish the breadmunks would return once more in all their glory to TLT.
  7. What did you expect?
  8. Shalom. *waves as well*
  9. (Double the ninjas, double the inconspicuousness)
  10. Was that really necessary @Doomstick?
  11. Suddenly, wafflles floaded into the bunker. A few flopped into the syrup filled pool.
  12. This thread needs some more posts with positivity. E.g. I made it a little over a month without losing!
  13. Eiran carefully looked out of the peephole. "None of the creatures are in immediate sight," he said. "We're good to surface." The trapdoor opened to an empty street. The sound of screams carried to them. "Remember," he told the group. "Our goal to get these people to safety. Not fight the frying pan monsters." He got some nods. They just wanted to get moving already. Eiran clambered up the ladder and out, followed by others. They were near an intersection. He checked the signs. Neither was for the street he'd seen in his vision, but it was nearby. He hurried left, slowing as he heard voices. "Atonement, perhaps, sir? For all the bits and pieces of 'Eternal Nature of the Soul' you've been ripping out of these poor bastards and stapling into yourself? Maybe it pleases you to trot amongst the wretches when you're not using them, bestowing reminders of your watchful care, lending a hand every once in a while to fool them into thinking you're a benevolent god. Maybe if they sing it back to you for long enough, even you will believe it. Am I just another Faceless Immortal, then, here to be the eyes and ears of a god who ties his own hands and calls it 'right'?" a woman said. Dark Alley, judging from what she was saying. He peaked his head around the corner. The spikes reflecting the little light confirmed his guess. What were they doing here? Eiran edged around the corner, then realized hiding probably wouldn't help. For one thing, he'd never been trained in it, and for another, the DA members probably had A-tin spiked into them. So he did what he knew to do. He stepped out of the shadows, a decent distance away in case he needed to run, and talked. "Hi," he said as casually as he dared. "If you wouldn't mind terribly, would you be willing to let those two through so they can get to safety?" he gestured to the woman holding her child. He hoped those wouldn't be his last words, because as last words go, those were pretty weak. @ZincAboutIt @MacThorstenson
  14. "Thank you," she said Galvris. There was less of a hard edge this time. Eve wasn't going to trust the Investitured man for a while, but then again, she wasn't quick to trust most people with Investiture. She looked to the woman asking if there was a plan. "I've got nothing. So unless anyone else does, we're just proving that it's fine to..." Eve trailed off, finishing the sentence in her head, rather than aloud. We're just proving that it's fine to mess with powers you shouldn't and that no one will stop you. Wait. From outside she heard a voice shouting. "This way! Into the tunnels!" TUBA was evacuating people. Into their tunnels. Her former home for a short while. That was...a surprise. They hadn't opened them for the Seven Day War. Why this time? Maybe because they learned something from that too. Take charge of evacuation quickly and do it well. she thought. But, it appeared from the screams outside, the enemy had also improved. She fingered a throwing star.
  15. Light raised an eyebrow. "Combat? I think you might be thinking of the wrong Atium Ferring." She hadn't seen Freedom in a while, but her PTSD didn't really seem like something that would go away any time soon. "How, exactly, is it that you know Freedom?"
  16. "One of my sister's is an Atium Ferring," she said. There was no way he could be referring to Freedom. Talking with Ghostbloods definitely did not qualify under the list of safe things to do in Alleycity they'd given her. "Why?"
  17. "I can show them to it to save you some time," Light said, speaking up. She'd started listening silently to the entire conversation after Pietr's comment about the world looking like it was ending. "Unless anyone has an issue with that." Walking the Ghostbloods and the Stormbreaker fellow wasn't a particularly interesting sounding thing , but it would be nice to do something after a year of being out of most events directly. @Grey Knight --- Pry's phone buzzed. She looked down and spotted an alert from TUBA. Across the room she noted Tino doing the same thing. "Is yellow bad?" she asked him. "Yeah," he said. "Didn't you know you were still on their emergency system list." "Me neither. Guess they never took me off," she said. "Well, we'd better head down. There's a tunnel entrance in the building," Tino said. Freedom looked over to them from where she sat at the window. "Why can't we help?" "What do you mean?" Tino asked. "We're here," she said. "We know how to fight. So why don't we?" "Because you are young and you shouldn't go throw your life away," Pry told her. "What use is it to live a life while watching others suffer?" Freedom said. She shifted to a few years over. Lusk was right - extrapolation did change how you thought. "Freedom, you're thirteen," Juon said, finally speaking. "You are young. You are rare. You are needed. If everyone took risks when they were young we wouldn't-" "We wouldn't what? We wouldn't exist?!" she said. "No. We wouldn't exist if no one did anything. We can't all just sit back and let others do things for us. Especially since we're Invested. I get it, you don't want me to die, but at the end of the day, I'm less fragile than you'd think." Pry shared a look with Tino and Juon. "Look," Pry said. "Mejin started doing stuff at fourteen as did I. The fact you're here is already progress enough. Don't push your luck too much or I'll see about sending you to the Invisible Reason." Freedom sighed then shrugged. "Fine." She paused. "But I want updates as to what's happening up here." And next time, she thought. I'll be there in person. --- Eiran returned to back below ground after escorting a group of bedraggled citizens off the street. The fog's bloodlust had made it difficult to stay on task while up there. If it hadn't been for the presence of his weakness, it might have been near impossible. He let out a breath as he watched a family reunite. A warm feeling filled him then quickly disappeared again. There were many more up there that still needed help. He readied himself to organize the next surfacing. This time he'd avoid the mist. It was too risky to go in it again. Even he'd had trouble with it. Eiran looked at a nearby map depicting the city and the spread of the fog. It was mostly centered around the PlasmaCore building, though a little off. So what he'd seen had been right. A vision of two women walking on a street floated to the top of his mind. He strained his eyes and caught sight of a street sign. On the map it was pretty much on the edge of the fog. A pretty much perfect spot to evacuate. Close to danger, but not too close. He'd go there with a group next. Hopefully it wouldn't be a mistake.

    Pointy Kremit

There's some deep meaning behind this. It must be some political statement. "Eggs are good." and "Pointy Kermit". Hm... So, pointy. Maybe vampires? Vampires are white like eggs and have pointy teeth. Of course. It makes sense now. Clyde is secretly a vampire trying to advocate for vampire rights.
  19. He was given Dogbert's auto-petter machine to appease his wants.
  20. Memes. And a cute cat one because it's cute.
  21. Silva reappeared very much alive a couple miles away. Staying dead wasn't something she was all that good at.
  22. Agreed. You phrased it better than I could have. This round was [insert a whole lot of positive adjectives here] to read.
  23. Silva intentionally disagreed with BoS to get a hatchet. She bought hatchets to give to the people who disagreed with her, right? Not to use on them?
