Misting: Pewter would be the best bet, as it lets you equal them in close quarters, where as trying to fight at range with just iron or steel puts you at a disadvantage. Ferring: Either Chromium (if that's luck I've got confused) Because if you emptied a few years of luck in one go, you might get lucky and knock him out in one bullet. Twinborn: Double steel, simply compound enough speed, and head straight for the lethal spikes. Or speed behind them and club them round the head. Misting+spike: I assume it cant be a ferring spike, so steel misting, with a steel spike. Crazy strong steel pushes would keep them at a distance and slowly damage them.

It could be the same with ruin/preservation. Ruin was worse at seeing the future, and ruining is alot more short term than preserving something.

Against wind runners, coat your ceiling in some kind of crazyily sticky substance. Which they wouldn't have invented but it work. Maybe some kind of fabrial. Against shard plate, could primitive smoke grenades or flash bangs work? If you could limit there visabilty it wouldn't be hard to hit them n the back of the head with a hammer.

Possibly relevant, how does surge binding affect liquids? Possibly using boiling oil traps, or anything to slwo a surge binder down.

Had another idea, storing time. Being similar to burning bendalloy or cadnium asuch. When you store it, you would have time pass faster for you, then could draw on it later to slow time. It just feels a bit similar to storing speed. And I still like the idea of an alloy of copper storing emotions.

You could constantly draw on metal minds, assuming you can 'steal' metal minds using hemalurgy. You'd just need alot of volunteers...

If shardblades cut investiture, would a metal mind from scadrial be able to block them? Assuming it was filled enough.

One thing that would limit its use, you couldn't grow so small that you couldn't hold a metalmind, and same for growing so large. the metal minds would remain the same size. so say, with bolts through the arms, you'd grow larger around them, and they would fall out... I imagine it, as simply easier to injure. Another idea, storing pain? useless when you draw on it, but isefull to store is the problem, when I feel it should be the other way around somehow.

I did actually think of it, but it would be rather overpowered.

Reading alloy of law, in the ars acranium (which I cant spell and my books at a friends house so shh) But it suggested that feruchemists and ferrings could store more attributes in alloys of god metals. So, any ideas what they could store? Ideas I've had so far, storing emotions (like copper), storing skills (so, becoming less skilled at something, to become more skilled later) and storing toughness (kind of a stretch as its similar to strength and health)

Another thing possibly related to this, it one of dalinars visions, hte radients helmets seemed to appear and disappear at will? I cant find the exact refrence right now tho...

Wouldnt that only apply to the actual Dahkor monks? And, the opposite of that. Could people from teod or Arelon become Dahkor monks? Could an elantrian?

Couldnt the spikes just be left in people? you wouldnt need kandra, as the decay would be slow.

I was told to post ehre becuase of the chat and unsure and things dont bite me please D: But question: If a feruchemist stored in a metalmind, then was spiked via hemalurgy, could the the person who received the spike draw on the metal mind?
