    Hey, thanks for the ping! While the word 'masturbatory' can genuinely be used in this context, it does carry a sexual connotation. It's removed enough that we're willing to let it pass, but we would like you to keep in mind the line from our Code of Conduct which says: "It is every member's responsibility to make this community an enjoyable and comfortable place. Text based messages do not always come across as intended and as our community spans the globe, language barriers can also present further misunderstandings--remember to give people the benefit of the doubt as it is likely the case that they have good intentions." This is not something we as staff are going to edit out ourselves in this context, or PM the members involved about. However, it does bother some people, and it's not hard to change it to 'self-indulgent' or something else less crass, if you're willing. We would prefer for all members to feel comfortable in our community. In the end, it's Bacon's choice. Please feel free to make a thread in 17S Discussion if anyone wants to discuss this further.

    Hmm, singing it, I think I'd disagree; you'd still need to elongate the 'get' to match "don't act surprised, you know you like it you []" because the...I don't know the proper music language, but the emphasis seems to be on the latter half of the line, and throwing 'it is' in there just trips me up and doesn't flow naturally. I appreciate the suggestion, though! And the compliments!
