    Ok this is funnier than my plan lol Jasper looked around at the people appearing and disappearing, startled, and then back at Moni and Someone else. "Um, thank you both, but I have something I need to do. I'm not sure why, exactly, but..."

    "All good, it's -" He looked over at it and jumped slightly, because it was back to normal in his hand. "It's, uh, fine now, apparently."

    Frick, he thought. "Um, er, uh, I, well, erm, uhm, I - I'm...Jasper." He hoped desperately that he hadn't messed that one up. The newly named Jasper tentatively waved at Doomslug.

    Somebody knocked into him and he sucked in a breath, tumbling down. Luckily he was unhurt, and quickly jumped up on his own. "Oh! Uh, that's okay. That's fine." The muffin, unfortunately, was completely smushed in his hand. "Shoot," he muttered, eyeing it. He looked up at Moni, wincing. "Hey, hi. Um, are you a Narrator? I'm looking for someone, I think over there -" he nodded back in the direction of the others - "and Robin here is looking for a bakery." Probably shouldn't have said that all at once, but there it is.

    "I probably shouldn't need to eat, being one myself," he said, flushing. "But I'm not keen on messing around with this power much until I know what I'm doing with it, so yeah, I'll just take the muffin. Thanks." He took a bite of it and blinked. "Hey, that's really good. You make that?"

    Someone squinted over at them. "Oh, I think that might actually be where I'm supposed to go? I was definitely supposed to go somewhere..." He trailed off. "Robin, do you want to come with? Maybe they know where a bakery is. Narrators are supposed to know lots of things." He left it unsaid that he didn't.

    "Yeah," they admitted. "uh, actually, i'm -" They coughed and started again. "Actually, I'm kind of new to existing? And definitely new to being a Narrator, so I don't know if I'm really doing things right. I don't really know how to do much at all, actually. Do you know where I might find some other Narrators I can ask things of?"
