indeed the American system is totally different compared to here in the UK too. We're also stuck on the same course pretty much as from when we apply, and our 'minor' courses only count in the first year. Medicine is a crazy long course, lol. Though you do come out with a doctorate, so it's quite possibly shorter than many post-docs (see Piled Higher and Deeper for the extent of my knowledge of American post-grad education).

Who's to say all beads are made equal? maybe there was 16 amounts of it bundled into 11 beads, or Rashek took more than 1 amount of it to become a mistborn. Who knows what happens if you burn it when you're already a mistborn. Oh and I guess Hoid might have a bit and is keeping it 'hostage' say, until he has all the shards in a way that he can pull them together. It depends on whether the shards have the power to ignore the usage of their gate-openers.

well he did create the beads (didn't he?) so he quite probably did consume some of Preservation's solid power. I'd have guessed he took it straight rather than eating a bead though. Laziness ftw, specially when you're nearly a god.

it was quite good yes Aye the Age of Five had some rather interesting ideas, but they weren't pulled off very well. Especially not as well as her Black Magician tri. The same can be said of the Traitor Spy so far; its not as good as it could have been.

I just said something horrible It might be that you can Lego them together until you get sufficient legoy potential that the amalgam falls in on itsself and (re)forms an Adonalsium-like lego piece. indeed, learning for fun beats the hell out of anything else. I learnt myself PHP and SQL for when me and a few friends decided to make a web-game in highschool (6th form at secondary school ) which ended up being awful, but it got me into programming, which got me a degree and a job in something I really enjoy, and more importantly can do well.

Scrap that, the two symbols on the Battle of the Tower must represent Sadeas and Dalinar. Thus, I propose that these are modular hieroglyphs constructed to spell the word... *shrug* it'd be pretty awesome if that were the case

well Brandon is pushing for that on the rerelease, I think he said Harriet would prefer a style similar to the Orion ones though. (according to the latest reddit interview I think). I prefer the UK covers to the current US ones, but the ebook ones are AWESOME.
