  1. Sephtis pulled a Scythe from behind his cloak. "I will give you the opportunity to withdraw."
  2. Sephtis reappeared instantly. "DNA splicing is very useful stuff."
  3. "I wish I build a shut up protocol... I will leave if you hand over the city."
  4. "Initiate level 12 protocal. Transfer, Valdwen and Aeodin to the location of Solace First." The symbols on Valdwen and Aeodin glowed purple.
  5. Sephtis smiled. "Good citizens of the Oasis city it would be prudent for you to turn my glorious city back to me in one piece. Yes this is a threat. I will rebuild if I have to. I can and will level this city to prove to you that any conspiritors against me are enemies of the the state. I ask that those who have voice allegiance join me now."
  6. Sephtis looked to his companion back at his office. "I will be back momentarily." He proceeded to vanish, reappearing at Oasis city. A wave of fear pressed through the crowd. "Behold your god."
  7. "Yes and may I remind you I founded them."
  8. "Those who side with me will not feel the wrath of the Four Horsemen. Those who side with me. I ask you to voice it now. I need voice confirmation to be able to do anything else."
  9. "For the actions of one foolish enough to oppose me I initiate level 11 protocol." The symbol started to blink steadily. A female voice rang from the symbol. "Tracking status: online." ==== @The Forgetful Archivist @BringerofShadows @Sorana @Arlin @I think I am here. @ShardBreaker @Niteshado @AonEne @whattheHoid @JacobClaessen @PrinceDusty @Dr. Jacques Rodriguez @Rhapsody @WelshAnime @Jehoiada @Gancho Libre @Life&Death @Spacefaring Ferring @Nohadon @Kidpen @AxeliustheGrizzled @Kaladin78 @Badadah
  10. Just as the symbol glowed red it immediately glowed blue. A new voice spoke. "I applaud you Hellbent. You acted exactly two and a half minutes before I though you would." A recognizable voice responded. "I may have only a few members siding with you but you are facing me. I give all ghostbloods one final choice, join me or perish."
  11. Sephtis smiled. "Yes it is mine. But the scan was just a password to even get into my computer. My masterplan...-" A loud voice reverberated through the room. '"GHOSTBLOODS! THE TIME HAS COME THAT WE STAND, AND FIGHT! SOLACE HAS MOUNTED A COMMAND, TRYING TO TAKE BACK THE GHOSTBLOODS! HIS PRESENCE IS NOT WELCOME, AND WE NEED YOUR AID! SADLY, SOME OF OUR OWN HAVE ALREADY FALLEN! BUT NOW, THE RIGHTHAND WILL HAVE A SPEECH, AND WE WILL ASSESS DAMAGE!" The message continued. "Welcome. I welcome you here in Oasis City, fellow brothers and sisters. I am here to speak to you on behalf of the council. We called you here to inform you of our decision regarding the one we call Solace and his challenge to the leadership. I can assure you, we don't take this situation lightly, nor was it an easy decision for us to make. We all swore to follow the Ghostbloods and their leader and work hard to see the Ghostbloods rise to new glory." There was a pause in the message before it continued. "But before I tell you officially, which path we decided to take, let me state two things first. One: We don't want this to end in a war between our members. We plan to try to find a solution that doesn't involve that. Two: Those that want to stay neutral, can stay neutral. We can't promise you, that you won't have to decide one day, but we decided to respect that decision for now." There was another pause, then "If you have any questions regarding our decision you may ask them, although I won't promise an answer right now. That depends on what you want to know. We, the council, sadly with one exception, decided to follow our current leader." The message ended. Solace smiled. "That was sooner than I expected, but no matter." Sephtis paused before laughing. "And they think they have the upper hand, ridiculous I tell you. They obviously don't know who they are dealing with. Anyways where was I? Oh yes, what is my plan you ask. It is very simple in nature but its parts are complex. Construct a lasting government in the Alleyverse. I get a few laws passed and sentence everyone who opposes me to death. Though that is the whole of why I brought you here. If you will look back to the projection of my Spiritweb here." Sephtis pointed at a pair of glowing light lines that fuzzed, then came back into focus but did not follow the normal pattern of the main body of the Spiritweb. "Do you know what this is?" ==================== @I think I am here. @Badadah & @Sorana I hope you don't mind me using your posts here to help with the story here!
  12. Sephtis appeared in front of a large building. A sign read Investiture for a Better Life Foundation. He walked toward the main doors of the building. The doors slid open on his approach. He led Max through the main lobby of the newly built and furnished building. He nabbed a guest badge from the front desk. He gave the badge to Max and continued on his way. As director he could do whatever he pleased. Sephtis stepped into a elevator and pressed a button. The foundation was built into the ground, so the lobby was the main floor. "This is the Investiture for a Better Life Foundation. What we do here is experiment with all types of different investitures to build towards a better future and life. I set this up just before I trained my daughter Aurell in assassination. Here we provide a more than generous wage and benefits to employees. We have made many major advancements." Sephtis explained this all while the elevator descended. It would stop occasionally to allow passenger a look into some of the experiments scientists were carrying out. The elevator stopped at the bottom opening up to a long hallway. Sephtis walked out of the elevator and down the hall. He passed many empty offices. Head of Hemalurgic division, Head of Aonic division and many more doors that did not have name plaques on the door. He reached the end, and opened a dark oak door which read, "Director Sephtis." The office was decorated with a large cushion chair behind a large glass table. Two leather chairs in front of the desk and a small circular table between the two black chairs. The walls were adorned with abstract pictures and a bookcase on the right wall. Sephtis sat in his chair behind his desk. He tapped a few buttons on the desk. "Performing scan." The desk said. A light ran over Sephtis for a brief moment. "Spiritweb scan complete. Welcome back director." "Have a seat, Max." Sephtis said. Sephtis moved a few applications off his desk and projected a 3D spiritweb from his desk that hovered a few inches from his desk. "Do you know whose spiritweb this is?" He asked Max. @I think I am here.
  13. "Great." Sephtis said, laying a hand on Max's should and the pair vanished.
  14. A figure materialized from the air next to Max. He was draped in a collage of different colors of grey. The wind snapped the loose fabric back and forth. "Good, you got the message. I was worried that I would arrive here in the Alleyverse before the message. Anyways I need your help. I have discovered some things that might interest you. Though we will need to be at a more secure place than this. If you trust me to Transport us there, that is." Sephtis looked at the thickening mist waiting for a reply. @I think I am here.
  15. "Be that as it may." Sephtis responded he nodded to each in turn. "Do not beg for mercy when I have my blade at your neck. I will give you two options. One you let me reassert control as I have stated or you may accompany me now and experience glorious change that will be wrought by my hands." He pushed through the group, moving towards the overlook's cliff. He turned to the group one last time. "I doubt you will be able to find me again but know this. I am merciful to those that have repented." With that farewell he leaned back and fell over the cliff. The fall was a short trip. He sucked in a bit of stormlight. Instead of hitting the ground, he went through it, using Teleportation to transfer to the place he desired.
  16. "My name is Sephtis. I don't particularly like repeating myself." Sephtis replied annoyed. He pulled down the hood to reveal another surprise. A spike in his left eyesocket. He looked nearly the same as he did before the destruction of the Alleyverse. Same ovaled face, with the squarish jaw, green eye, hooked nose. The same crooked grin that matched his nose. Though there was one difference, the hair which was now black with white strips in it. "I believe you know me as Solace First. I have come to reassert control and bring back the Ghostbloods former glory."
  17. "Ah perfect! One step closer! You here that, Twilight?" He pulled his gloved hand up, palm facing him. He pulled off the black glove revealing the Ghostblood mark branded upon the skin. "I am one of you. If you think I am faking or using illusions, you can search me for spheres. You won't find any I am not carrying them. Did you know that I was a Ghostblood, Mr. Amber? I know that membership records aren't kept up to date because of secret members." Sephtis said. Oh how he loved the looks on their faces.
  18. "How do you know of me?" Sephtis asked beneath his hood. He scanned the group before replying. "I am looking for a organization called the Ghostbloods." He involuntarily itched his gloved hand where the Ghostblood symbol was tattooed.
  19. "Do I know you?" Sephtis asked Mr. Amber. He scratched his chin and pressed on. "I suppose you two could help me with something."
  20. "My name is Sephtis. I am new here." He stood. "May I ask what you are doing here?" Sephtis looked at his scythe laying on the ground. With a flick of his foo it spun into the air, he caught it and firmly planted the hilt on the ground.
