  1. "I swear. One day you lot'll drive me to swear the Fourth Ideal out of pure frustration." That's not how it works. The Stormfather rumbled in his head. "I know buddy, I know" Doc walked off, chuckling.
  2. "You have no right to enforce the law, Jordan. Just because you're a Skybreaker does not mean you're an officer of the law."
  3. "No. Assault with a deadly weapon is most definitely not legal. Not to mention he didn't break any laws."
  4. Doc raise an eyebrow, "Kid," he said softly, "How many times do I have to say it. Do not use your bloody Shardblade in the kichen!"
  5. Radyn burst through the doors, cloak flowing behind him. His tattoos sparkled in the dim light. This was his kind of place. "You guys still hiring?"he asked, his voice a deep growl.
  6. A Mistborn Adventure Game game? *chuckles*
  7. Doc grabbed a cookie out of the box and chuckled before taking a bite.
  8. Doc shrugged, "Just some stuff about other Radiant enclaves. I suspect she just wanted to show off."
  9. "I don't know what the hell you're talking about. Jalien has no central government. Corislain doesn't either. What kind of rock do you live under, masked man? Are you from one of the mining colonies?" she chuckled, covertly reaching back and grabbing the civilian's arm. What kind of distraction do you mean? she sent to him through her cybernetics.
  10. Ciera stood, hands clasped behind her back, on her Skimming platform of choice: a large stone platform with the Ghostbloods' symbol tiled into the center. Galvris and Cakuin stood behind her. She turned around, face calm. "Now," she said quietly "are you ready? We'll need to be on our toes at all times. Galvris, do you have the Well I gave you?" she gestured to her own Well, which looked like a Soulcaster. Galvris' was disguised as an usassuming belt knife. @Vargo Seldon
  11. Doc took another sip of Sprite, seeming contemplative, "Hum? Oh, well I got a letter from Nicole. Delivered by a Willshaper courier from DC." @Sorana
  12. I've had a Kindle since forever. I also have a small library of ebooks to go along with it.
  13. Radyn prowled the streets nearby the large building, poster in hand. He was intrigued. ~~~ An odd presence seemed to settle in the Alleys nearby Plasma Core. Those nearby them could sense... impatience emenating from their entrances.
  14. Doc tapped his foot to the music as he read the letter. It was from a colleague, a Bondsmith. Nicole had written this one from Washington DC and had sent it to him via courier. She was an odd one. The letter wasn't too important, just some reports on various Radiant enclaves she had visited. He smiled, then folded up the letter and put it in his pocket. School was almost out and he didn't want to be caught unawares when the others got home. He turned off the music and left the workshop. Doc made his way up to the kichen and opened a fridge, removing a can of Sprite and popping it open.
  15. Then inquire in the RP thread, my friend. Whaat are you intrested in? Sanderson based rolplays? Or something completely unrelated?
  16. I think Stormlight would work a lot better as a tv series considering the legth of the books and the depth of the world.
  17. What? Do mean you want to join a RP?
  18. I have an ebook copy of every single Cosmere book. I prefer ebooks because their just so storming convenient. I mean, I can highlight, take notes, keep the entire Cosmere in my backpack, go anywhere with them and not have to use a flashlight to read when I'm camping.
  19. Yera looked at the new guy, then back at the masked man. The new guy moved with the bulky slowness of a non-cyber. Power armor increased one's strength no matter what, but without cybernetics, the suit could slow one down. It had to react to your motions, and there was a small delay as it did so. You sacrificed speed for brute force. If one was integrated, however, the suit could connect directly to one's central nervous system, and move with the body, increasing not only strength, but speed and agility. The masked man moved with the grace that only came with much training. Integration did not imimediately make one a master at using armor. The most important factor was training. Yera herself had practicly lived in her armor for close to a year. She continued standing, looking relaxed, like a tiger preparing to strike.
