  1. Will: "Halt, can I ask you a question?" Halt: "I believe you just did." -Ranger's Apprentice
  2. My story actually has no types of magic in it, so it could hardly be anything like the Cosmere.
  3. Yeah. Soon after posting, I looked up the guide to it. It's so long, and I will probably have many questions, but I'll read that before asking too much.
  4. I started with the younger, more lighthearted books first. My first Brandon Sanderson book "wasn't written by Brandon. It was written by Alcatraz." So what book could that possibly be?
  5. I've heard of it, but I would definitely like more information!
  6. Sure, I'm interested. It sounds like a good storyline and I would be happy to help.
  7. Great! I've been wondering about illustration of my book for a while, but never really described my characters very well. I will keep thinking and try to give you as accurate a description as I can. I look forward to this!
  8. What is your book called? I wouldn't care about you advertising your writing. If I can, I will definitely read it.
  9. I would accept, but I will not be the most influential beta reader. I will make suggestions, as I am currently writing my own book, but I'm no expert. Good luck getting this published. Is it on Word or Docs or is it handwritten? If it is on Docs, could you give a link? Or could you attach it?
  10. I like the Latin at the end. It says "What is life without humor? Probably quite dull." I like the Knights Awkward part.
  11. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I have no idea. If you do, make it worthwhile because it's going to stick. Do something notable, because more people are probably going to know you by that name than your real one.
  12. In the drawing free-for-all match at the end of the book, Joel guided Melody to knock a circle off someone's anchor because "He hadn't anchored it right." I'm guessing that's the biggest problem, that it won't be anchored well if bind points are missed.
  13. I am currently writing a book in Google docs here . I would appreciate suggestions and clarity edits, if any needed. Is there anyone else who is writing their own book?
  14. Thanks so much! I haven't read too much about that, but I've heard about it from my brother.
  15. I'm new to this! I am a big fan of Brandon Sanderson's books (I haven't read a lot because they are all so long). I have read The Rithmatist, all the Alcatraz books, book 1 and half of 2 in Mistborn, and plan to read everything else. What do I need to know? Cool invisible text.
