Tamriel,world of Skyrim and all that other stuff, for those who don't know. As nostalgic as it would be to begin in an inn, am I the only one corrupted by the need to do something less conventional? We'll need some time and practice getting used to the mechanics as a group, it wouldn't hurt to start someplace where we'd have easy access to that. Furthermore, unless I'm not understanding anything, we'll need something approaching the role of a DM. Who'll that be?

Spook had a little help from Harmony figuring out what the last two metals were, and it isn't completely impossible for them to have figured out Chromium and Nicrosil without actually creating any. An impure metal can be burned at great personal risk, and I could see somebody getting an effect out of it that way just to prove that it'd work. Considering Spook's resources, AoL-era Scadrial probably knows about the two metals and has a rough idea of how to make them, but the two aren't really used by anybody due to the impracticality of attempting to manufacture it.

According to some other Sharders, it seems that some areas sell The Way of Kings in two separate parts, for some reason. It really is a great series if you can get the whole thing, even if I would still prefer it if people read all of Mistborn and Warbreaker first to make Word of Radiance make more sense :/ It's not okay to skip the last half of the Way of Kings any more than it is to skip Words of Radiance, as it'll just screw up your chronology and leave out very important things. What you do is your call, but don't try skipping sections of things.

Well, for anybody who was wondering, the original thread from the CC section is right here. It didn't get that far, only about 8 replies to its name, but for anybody who wanted to know, there it is.

You forgot the part where the story teeters on the edge of answering the dreaded spren R34 questions, before the Knights Moderator close the idea down in the nick of time after the end-of-chapter cliffhanger. And if it were written by me there would be more time travel and Ham-like moral dilemmas to go with it.

Um, that's not actually an option Miy. Kelsier is immortal at the moment, and cannot be harmed until round 2. Please choose somebody else. If you don't do so by the time another poster comes, the game will just move on as if you had not posted.

Present tense is already a horribly difficult way to write a good story, why do so many authors also add in first person? It's a recipe for disaster >_> What would happen if the 17th Shard collectively wrote the Cosmere? It'd probably never exit development...

But only in the book. When they turn it into a movie, they'll rework Renarin's character to allow him to covet the power of the ring anyway. There won't be any further movies after that one, because Feather will kill them all for ruining Renarin.

I was about to tell you all what would happen if Ayn Rand and Terry Goodkind were to jointly write the entire Cosmere, but simply writing their names in the same sentence has caused me to cry blood. I can't go any further. If we wish to weaponize this, I recommend having each user type out three words of it and then leave without looking at what they are helping to create. We still probably won't be able to say who the new John Galt will be. I'm afraid anybody attempting to type such a thing would instinctively spike the capacity to do some out of themselves, nail it to an earwig, burn it and the vermin to ashes, and then bury the remains in six separate locations around the world just to be safe. The same would be done for all memory of the events, except in seven places instead of six, and to a sea urchin instead of an earwig.
