Anytime he is seen doing any sel related magic? I mean he did steal that moon sceptre once. Wonder what was the relevance there?

Quote from epilogue He took the rags and cord he’d worked with earlier, forming them into the shape of a doll He raised the doll to his lips, then whispered a choice set of words. When he set it down, it started to walk on its own. is he awakening here?

Well I was even smaller. Like uniting honors splinters unite a shard again Possibly from the shard remnants itself. especially the largest remnant that has merged with stormfather Honour was dying and unite them is literally his last words. He knows he is going to splinter! I wonder if the task of stormfather was not only to find a bondsmith but to find a successor vessel. the warm light he keeps seeing and the warmth he keeps feeling hmm.. now that’s really weird stuff. Where is this coming from? Honor? Adonalsium?

So you think that it is possible to achieve but may not happen naturally? But it should still grant them longer than usual lives.. kind of aes sedai...

And immortality is such an interesting subject. There are so many magic systems in the Cosmere that grant immortality, it is clearly not implausible. Elantrians have it, awakening and possessing enough breaths grant people longer life I think if not immortality, even I think the Dakhor monks too came in this category, lord ruler with attium spike, etc Slightly off the topic, but All this makes cosmere timeline very confusing. We know that white sand came first, then mistborn era 1 then Elantris, then warbreaker, and then Roshar but exactly how many years could have passed between these events. We don’t know because the characters crossing over either are immortal (hoid, vasher, dula) or may be ( azure, khriss) are immortal or have elongated their lives through some investiture.

I wonder that too. Does healing make KRs immortal? It should... they do make perfect copies. What they do is cellular regeneration to the extent that they can even regrow lost limbs, heal shard wounds. At the very least, it should make them leave much longer than an average human being. Should not it? Like 200-300 yrs easily...

The SA hole that I cannot find a good solution for.
Aon Tia replied to Karger's topic in Stormlight Archive
Totally agree here. Soul casting food should be most difficult coz it has to be edible, safe, taste -
She remembers it I am sure but her past is unknown to us. how she met ulim? How did ulim escape? Had she anything to do with Gavilar? Etcetra etcetra. I can think of a few interesting revelations happening there. Which might explain and help us better understand the past events and might make readers like Venli too. Which a lot of readers do not.

Stormform or any other singer forms seems to me fairly parmanent. Until the next storm that is. Stormform requires a particular mindset yes but so do all singer forms while capturing the spren but stormform did not fail later even though eshonai struggled against it. and mindset is essential no matter what bond is being formed I guess due to the congnitive nature of spren. Even the oaths that KRs sweat is basically adopting the right kind of mindset I do not recall any physical changes in the soldiers only amaram. The only thing is red eyes but that could be a function of thrill and not the bond. Spren were seen around them but were they seen swallowing them ? I do not recall. And this is not a nahel bond this could be something similar I.e. voidbond. It may be similar but need not work in exact manner as nahel bond! the opening of soul and allowing voidspren to enter parts discribed in the text sound an awful lot like nahel bond to me. Singer forms if required opening of souls every single time they take on a spren ??? Does not make sense to me

Seeing as these are earlier books and some people have complained that flashbacks are boring (a fact that Brandon has discussed) although I liked flashbacks but upon rereads I tend to skip over flashbacks, after oathbringer it seems that Brandon is likely to aim for Dalinar style flashbacks

Sorry for the bagel bond auto correction

Obviously I will agree with whatever Brandon choses to do Other can work but I, in my own humble opinion, prefer Venli at this point. Because we need to know more about her which could be through her sisters eyes too I agree but it might be more difficult to read about young eshonai, her dreams, her hopes to travel the world knowing the tragic end she found. It could be interesting too but it could be painful to read too. I guess we shall see. It can be different for a change. I don’t agree especially after dalinars flashbacks that they did not add to the plot. We can get eshonai’ s story through her sisters pov too. It works both ways.

“Deep within his helm, something started glowing red. The dark spren flew toward the men, finding welcoming bodies and willing flesh. The red mist made them lust, made their minds open. And the spren, then, bonded to the men, slipping into those open souls. “Master, you have learned to inhabit humans?” Turash said to Subservience. “Spren have always been able to bond with them, Turash,” Odium said. “It merely requires the right mindset and the right environment.”” And later ash looks at sadeas men and thinks “eyes glowing with the light of corrupted Investiture. Odium has learned to possess men. A dark, dangerous day. He’d always been able to tempt them to fight for him, but sending spren to bond with them? Terrible.” this makes me think that they were bonding some voidspren and not red mist and it was a new bond something similar to bagel bond and not like singers

I thought so too that the beggar could be a herald. if so, then he has to be Kelek. But the beggar seems far far more crazy then the guy with Nale in the prologue. is it confirmed that the man with nale in prologue is indeed kelek?

Contrary to popular opinion, i never really liked Eshonai that much. I think that she said she wanted peace but at the end TWok, she kept beating Dalinar, stop beating him and actually talk to him!! no, i guess the possibility that they might kill all of these soldiers and get two shards was too tempting!! and if you are going to negotiate alethis, then why not just try that first and if it fails, then go for the weird new spren your sister has found!! i guess again that the possibility of winning the war was too tempting. so i feel that her words sounded more honorable than her actions!! Although jury is still out on Venli but at first i thoroughly disliked Venli, but then near the end slowly slowly that has changed. i like how Dalinar says you can change to amaram but it does not work on him but Venli feels as though the Radiant told me i can still change! This i believe was the last barrier holding her back from forming the Nahel Bond for immediately afterwards..... she has made poor decisions but than so has many people. I think flashbacks from her point of view will have more meaning for her journey through the book like Dalinar and i think her past is more mysterious. she has more to tell/explain. Eshonai on the other hand can not add more to the plot. she does not have the anwsers i need from the flashbacks. plus cosmere mysteries!!!! it is not even up for debate !!!!

hey guys, we have all noticed that how UNITE THEM is a running theme with Dalinar throughout the books so far, we have Dalinar interpret this in different ways : unite all of Alethkar, atleast all the highprinces, not just in name but actually then he expanded it to unite all of humanity, all nations in one alliance and then, he united all three realms together what do you think could be his next interpretations of UNITE THEM? one that comes to mind is unite humans and singers against Odium. i think it may be the running theme for him in SA4 any ideas?

"Unless maybe Brandon is playing with words (we've seen those things, but we haven't seen them doing magic)." is this something that brandon said? well if so, then there is one instance that comes to mind where this is possible. During the battle of Thaylen City, the Amaram's army appears to have bonded with Voidspren. it was said also by i think one of the fused that lord, have you learnt to bond voidspren with humans? to which odium replies that it was always possible but it requires a specific mindset and environment to achieve.. i think, what those soldiers were doing were forming the equivalent of Nahel Bond with voidspren. they probably were capable of voidbinding. but we never saw it onscreen because they were very newly formed and knew not how to.. moreover, the moment dalinar trapped thrill, the environment + mindset changed and they may be kind of lost their bond to the voidspren and are left crying. i think some were even heard crying that why have you abandoned me so!!

[OB] The third Bondsmith and Urithiru
Aon Tia replied to FirstSelector's topic in Stormlight Archive
I think the third sibling is what is called the Ancient of stones. He is mentioned in the epigraphs of the last part in words of radiance and in the translation of dawnchant in oathbringer it is mentioned that "for there betrayal extended even to our gods: the spren, stone and wind. Hmm arr these the mention of three siblings spren nightcrawler stone ancient of stone who is sleeping and wind storm father Just a thought guys.. although I do wonder what a bond smith of nightcrawler would be like !!
