  1. Clearly not everything gets what it wants
  2. In comparison to your unicorn it was a masterpiece. Alone it was really good.
  3. The hummingbird was not just “okay” it was really good
  4. One of my friends drew an amazing humming bird chalkling
  5. You know your a Sanderfan when you have arguments with inanimate objects about their identity You know your a Sanderfan when you use sidewalk chalk to draw a 9 point defense and several chalklings (it didn’t work ) You know your a Sanderfan when you go crazy when your friend (who has not read Stormlight Archives or heard anything about it) says “Journey before destination” (this actually happened. He was reading Mistborn at the time) You know your a Sanderfan when you write “Put friend A on decaf” and “(Me) gets a cookie” at the bottom of your Math Teacher’s lesson plan and friend B shouts “I want a cookie too” (Math Teacher did not have cookies that day. She had brownies)
  6. Granted, but now you no longer have a computer/phone/iPad/any device that can connect to the internet I wish for a curse.
  7. General Sanderson Meme A couple more Edgedancer memes:
  8. Edgedancer Spoilers
  9. You know your a Sanderfan when you and your friends figure out who is lighteyes and who is darkeyes. (Not acting on any of this of course) You know your a Sanderfan when you have group chats with names like “I am a stick” “Apocalypse Gaurd” and “Knights Radiant” You know your a Sanderfan when you have spammed your friends with READ MISTBORN several thousand times (I crashed my computer it was so much) You know your a Sanderfan when you pull Mistborn out of nowhere and hand it to your friend unexpectedly and tell her to read it. You know your a Sanderfan when your friends have to convince you that metals are not investable. You know your a Sanderfan when your autocorrect changes ingestable to investable. You know your a Sanderfan when you start saying “Two chickens with one stone”
  10. I actually said the opposite... that Autonomy is NOT backing the set, but could be attacking Scadrial.
  11. Ok. The part about existing in one realm still works though
  12. I find it unlikely that Autonomy is the one attacking Scadrial, or at least that Autonomy is the one backing the Set because the Set is trying to seize power and control. Autonomy is about self government and independence, meaning that Autonomy would have no government, not a secret government. I think it is more likely that one (or more) of the 6 unknown shards is attacking Scadrial.
  13. So earlier I saw a thread about why Aluminum might be immune to investiture. This thread theory used the basis that Aluminum was Adonalsium's god metal, and it makes other investiture more balanced. This made me start thinking if it is possible that the reason Aluminum is immune to investiture is along the opposite side of the spectrum. What if Aluminum can't be affected by Investiture because it only exist in the Physical Realm. In the Cosmere everything exists in 3 realms, physical, spiritual, and cognitive (I am not going to go into detail of realmatic theory, you can probably find it on the wiki if you don't already no what it is) If aluminum only exists in the Physical realm it would mean that it can't be edited by any investiture, yet it would probably still be able to be burned as an allomantic metal. Not existing in the Cognitive or Spiritual realm immediately make it impossible to forge because Forgery changes the object in both of those realms, and without them, it would be no different than just stamping an object. Oathbringer Spoilers: Those 2 things are the easiest to explain why they would work with this theory. I had a little bit more trouble with Aons because their context with realmatics is a little unclear. Aons probably couldnt directly alter Aluminum because they would probably be altering items similar to the way soulcasting works. I couldn't find enough information as to how BioChromatic Breath works when awakening an object to draw any conclusions, but I think it is safe to assume that it has something to do with at least one of the other realms. As to why things like Nightblood and Shardblades can't cut aluminum, I can't find a good conclusion since so little is known about them, the best thing I can guess at actually involves another portion to this theory that I haven't even brought up yet. What if aluminum is the one thing in the Cosmere that isn't made of investiture? This would make it so that Nightblood cannot cut it (Nightblood consumes investiture), and probably shardblades as well. Also, shardblades supposedly cut out people's souls, which involves realmatics, which would make them incapable of cutting aluminum. As to why it can't be pushed/pulled on by allomancers, I can only assume that steelpushing/ironpulling involves at least one of the other two realms. Before I finish and let you tear holes in my theory, don't say that if aluminum isn't investiture than how did Adonalsium create it, I would like to point out that we don't know that Adonalsium created the Cosmere from nothing. Parts of this theory assume that Aluminum was in fact the only thing in the cosmere before adonalsium came along, and it also assumes that Adonalsium created the other 2 realms, but couldn't find a way to put aluminum in them. Alright, I am done now. Start tearing it up.
  14. I don’t think Wax would be a skybreaker because if I remember correctly (let me know if I am wrong) the Skybreakers do pledge themselves to the law, no matter what, it just depends on what/whose law, and like somebody mentioned earlier, Wax likes to bend the rules to much. Also, wandering investor said that they become justice with their 5th oath, but actually they become the law, not justice. There is a difference.
  15. So that WoB got me thinking, what if somebody started storing identity, forged some of their attributes, and then stored that and then took back their identity. Could somebody store versions of themselves from forgery in a metal?
  16. Wait your right

    Unity

So in Oathbringer, Dalinar says "I am Unity" and Odium responds with "We killed you" Naturally this leads people to believe that Unity might have been a shard or something. I have a different theory. In other post on the topic of Unity, I have expressed my belief that if Unity will ever exist it will be as a multi shard like Harmony. Recently I came up with the idea: What if Unity ALREADY existed as a Multi Shard before Harmony. Is it possible that at some point, probably right after the Shattering, several shards came together to form a multi shard called Unity? If this was true, what Odium said implies that him, and probably the other shards (He says "we" not "I") teamed up to kill Unity, and return it to its original Shards of Adonalsium state. This would also be what allows Odium to know that to become the most powerful being in the universe he can't take up other Shards otherwise he will take up there intent. Maybe the shard Odium was in fact part of Unity, and Rayse was not in fact one of the original sixteen people to shatter Adonalsium, but somebody who came latter. Please let me know you thoughts on this.
  18. I agree with whoever it was that said Autonomy isn't Freedom. Freedom implies that you have your own free will, while Autonomy really implies that everything works together, whether or not it is against their will, for the good of the whole, kinda like Ecosystems. Dominion on the other hand enforces 1 will on everyone, whether it is good for them or not.
  19. Oh. I feel like there are a lot of hints that Adonalsium was not in fact the most powerful being in the universe. I have a feeling that the real god will be something more along the lines of, to quote hoid, “in the hearts of men”
  20. Wasn’t it kinda known that Adonalsium was God? I am confused by what you mean by that.
  21. I actually considered that the shards might be in groups of 4 like the metals, although I disagree with your groupings. Here are my thoughts: Creation: Ruin, Preservation, Endowment, Cultivation. Personality: Honor, Ambition Remaining we probably have something like Greed and maybe something involving Humbleness Consciousness: Autonomy, Dominion. Remaining we probably have Sentience and maybe Knowledge/Wisdom Emotion: Devotion, Odium This gives adonalsium hatred and love. Missing is likely something like Jealousy and Serenity.
  22. It was...
  23. Elend...
  24. I am not saying an entire 4th shard, just a piece of a 4th shard.
  25. Least favorite character in the cosmere... hmm... Taravangian. Or maybe the Stick. Why couldn’t the stick just turn into fire for Shallan? The greedy stick took in so much Stormlight and gave nothing in return. Stupid stick.
