I don't think I ever posted that game, and if I did it was just to say hi. I was completely unprepared for the amount of analysis, and the amount of time that would be required; so I dropped as soon as I could. And Joe, I said this was my first full game. Which it is.
-
The following is an hours worth of me reading every post in this thread and summing up my reactions/thoughts Joe: Great analysis of possible no vote explanation, definately getting a village read Lopen: Very Slight borderline Slight Elim read due to the attempt at a universal roleclaim (though I’m sure you’re all tired of hearing that :P) Bort: I understand not having played much lately (it’s my first game ever, so I can relate) but if I can get this much analysis out, I would think we should hear more from you than one post per cycle. Ripple: I think the vote Drake move was good, but it ended up not working out. No read off of this post BR: another neutral read I am not a captain, and you (anyone) can scan me if you don’t believe me (not sure if that would prove it, but it couldn’t hurt). Devotary: Very very very slight village read, only b/c I feel like an elim would have asked drake in a PM so that the village wouldn’t know and the elims would get 2 free kills BR: Good analysis, Slight Village read Mac: as much as I understand the RNG stuff, how many games have you played? If many, how do you not know how to poke? If few, never mind Devo: no change from before Me: NOT AN ELIM! Monster: Fun RP as always (def Roid fanboy), similar to Devo village read due to him bringing up the secret rules thing BR: Good analysis, no change Arinian: Same read as Lopen, still hasn’t answered my PM and “because why not?”is terrible reasoning Joe: I trust Joe in general, and the more good village analysis he does, the more useful he is to the village Ripple: No change Bort: Interesting theory, glad to hear from you Arinian: Well, I apreciate you not voting Joe (who I think is village), but the fact that you unvoted the person who just voted you is weird (to me, at least). Not enough to make any claims, but weird. Drake: Definitely an Elim. DEFINITELY. Devo: Still no change, but thanks for reminding him Bort: Yay more Bort On a more serious note, with that analysis I am reading true neutral at this point Monster: *insert sad Roid fan here* Rest of the post is NAI to me, so no change Drake: Thanks for responding. Darn. Still getting a pretty strong elim vibe, since he does’;t want us to kill him. Ripple: NAI, no change Lopen: Good defense, but not enough to have you read village yet. I see one of twho thing s os of now: you are an elim (quite possibly w/ Shqueeves) or you are a villager with bad timing (the whole ask for universal roleclaims was not funny, and not a good idea) Current read: Neutral Note: this is where I realize it is just past midnight where I am and I should be sleeping now. If the second half of this analysis is weird, I blame that Devo: Good analysis, Remove one very so current read: Very very slight village read Ecth: first post of the cycle, and not much there. I’m new, what exactly is an arsonist type role? Lopen: NAI, no change Joe: HOLY ANALYSIS, man! Huge post, lots of good questions, Village read as of now (and even if he’s not, he’s helping the village a good deal) Ecth: I want to believe that you forgot, but this is mafia (sort of) and I’m not sure how trustable “I forgot” is. Still, no change, NAI, neutral Me: answering Joes questions, and voting Lopen: again, not sure how much I trust the I forgot, but maybe that’s just my mafia paranoia. Otherwise, good points. Very very very very slight village read b/c of it, but only just Drought: Those of you with whom I am PMing, you know my reaction to this. For the rest of you, this set my alarms off, but would prefer not to say why out in the open for the sake of keeping certain things from the elims. PM me if you want an explanation. Not you tho, drought, b/c I don't trust you rn. In addition, voting BR in order to make them do more will not create more hours in their day. They seem to be doing the best they can. Elim read Shqueeves: Frustratingly little information, but not the kind of post that says Elim. Neutral read Joe: I trust joe, what more is there to say. Ripple: Good choice IMO, voting so you don’t die but not accidentally lynching b/c you don’t know what’s going on. An easy fix however would be to Be More Active (if you can) Very very slight village read, but that’s mostly a gut read. Devo: Not much, no change My Thoughts: Sorry this is so much raw data, I’m new to all this analysis business and just brute forced it. Sorry this is so late, I had a long day w/ IRL stuff and then typing all this up took me an hour. Stormfather, this thing took me an hour to type! After all this analysis, I am going to stick w/ Arinian for now, but would not be opposed to lynching drought either. And with that, I’m going to bed. Bye

@A Joe in the Bush I PM'd you b/c I know you from discord, know you are a veteran, Rand's post immediately screamed Elim to me, and wanted your opinion since I am new to this (obviously, as my gut was wrong). That is also why I didn't mention in the thread that I was PMing you, didn't know that was normal. And no, I did not PM w/ anyone else right away, but now have several PM's active. As for why I thanked Straw, my reasoning is weak. I know BR from discord, and they seemed really into this game. In addition, they had posted and straws vote was a poke so it was good to see that not accidentally hang around. I will try to get an analysis up tonight, but if not then definately next cycle. Here's a just in case vote: Arinian. Monster (who I would almost say is a good contact, but not quite as of now) said that this behavior is normal for @Arinian, but I asked for a PM (which you acknowledged) and still I have yet to get one. This strikes me as suspicious, along w/ some of the other things you have done.
-
I have lots of IRL stuff today, and not much time. That said, I will try to get some analysis/RP in tonight, but for now I think that at least until we get some answers from him, Drake is not that bad of a choice. On a side note, I PM'd @Arinian to see if he could participate, and he has not responded. Hmmmm

Shqueeves (2): Drought, BrightnessRadiant Devotary (1): Lopen Mac (2): Len, Monster Drought (2): Arinian, Coop Elenion (1): Bort Joe (1): Devotary Arinian (3): Ripple, Shqueeves, Mac There's an updated that
-
I do. I have been in deep PM conversation with him, and I do know more than most. Unfortunately, I am unsure if I should divulge more out in the open w/out his ok I can say that lynching him would be a mistake
-
I can now confidently vouch for mac, I would say 90% sure he is village. I will vote Drought for 2 reasons: 1 b/c I don't want to die 2 several people have expressed suspicion for drought, and I am one of those. He has not, however, done anything about it, instead voting Shqueeves for reasons that seem kind of fishy to me and saying not much else w/ lots of words. Votes (Please Copy and Paste this when you make a vote!): Shqueeves (1): Drought Devotary (1): Lopen Mac (2): Len, Monster Drought (2): Arinian, Coop Elenion (1): Bort Joe (1): Devotary Arinian (3): Ripple, Shqueeves, Mac

Quick analysis (please note, this is my first full game so these prob aren't so good) Shqueeves is an elim or a voteblocker I’m leaning more towards voteblock b/c an elim would want me dead via inactivity filter b/c he’s an elim No elim kill is weird, village roles be careful I feel like (just a gut read) Devo is village BR why are you suspicious of me Drought, that was honestly suspicious to me. We (or at least I) have a good number of reasons to trust Shqueeves as a village captain Ripple, can you elaborate on your suspicion? @Elenion, are you still on mac? Again, I agree w/ Arinian that my gut says Drought is suspicious at least Good point Bort, but flimsy for a vote Roid, Sal can vouch for mac pending some things
-
"Well Roid, Sal don't argue unless Sal is confident in his data. Still trying to collect data atm, so maybe you should back off." Hmm, thought Sal. Maybe that was a little bit harsher than I meant it to be. Then again, I'm not in a very good mood with these stupid spies making me question the only people I've ever really gotten to know.
-
Thanks. TBH, I am to a degree, but it's more just a mostly harmless way to act on one of my suspicions.
-
good idea, but I'm not going to. Due to various conversations and some general fear of death, I am going to go for Shqueeves for tonight. It's not 100% malicious, but I don't want to get inactivity killed. sorry man
-
I need to vote someone so I don't die, but don't have time to analyze things, so if someone could suggest who I should vote for
-
TBH, I am trying to protect Mac, but not b/c we are elims. I am protecting him b/c he has lots of good input, even if some of it is RP. As for why I suspect you, I vaguely remember lots of people being suspicious of you before, but I will Straw for now until I can check

Hmm, I'm not sure how much I agree with all the Mac votes (there are 4) since he is doing a lot more both in terms of analysis and RP than many others. On the other hand, I feel like I should probably reevaluate Mac and Monster, since I have a slight bias towards them b/c they are fun to RP with. Arinian, as I understand, is just being normal Arinian weird, not elim weird. as of now, I feel like Straw is one of the better candidates. Please do more RP if you have time, everyone
-
"Anybody up for some craps?" Called Sal, as he and Mac walked toward the main fire. "All are welcome, and Mac has cookies!"
-
Interesting points, Mac, but IDK if I agree with voting arinian, after Roids post. In addition, I feel like using RNG to vote is worse than revenge votes. This, in combination with other points people have made about you make me think that Mac is someone who should not be trusted, at least not as of now. Are there any docs I should have links to as of now? On the other hand, he did give me a cookie, so I won't vote him just yet. On to the RP! (about the RP, sorry for all the grammer issues, I'm trying to represent what was going on in his mind) "Thanks for explaining, Roid. I will stop pointing Arinian for you." At this point, Salthis thought he overheard Mac saying something about Arinian, but he couldn't hear him very well, which, as he thought about it, seemed kind of strange. He always remembered having good hearing, but it did seem like whenever he thought about Mac, things got a little fuzzy. Oh well, probably not that big of a deal. Maybe another cookie would help, and would give him a chance to talk to Mac privately.
-
"It's okay, Roid; calm down, there's no need to get angry." At least, that is what Sal said, but who wasn't thinking "Roid's head is void, especially if he is going to give us that kind of insult material. The last thing Sal wanted, however, was more people killing each other, and he knew [Drought] wasn't trying to; but it was hard to explain things to Roid. "He wasn't saying Roid was dumb, he just wasn't smart enough to understand Roid. Sal want to know why Roid not think Arinian hallandren. Can Roid explain?"
-
I am also getting an elim read from arinian for the same reasons as Drought. I'm not voting you Monster, but it does not look good for you that you are defending arinian as others are voting on him b/c it feels (to me at least) like you are an elim defending your fellow elim. Just wanted to give you a chance to defend yourself. RP incoming, which will probably sum this up in RP form
-
Sorry Monster, I want to RP w/ you but also think a lynch would be good for the village, and you frankly havent added much
-
"Alright, then. Perhaps tomorrow," said Sal, as Jeo made it clear that he did not want to talk. He knew night was near, but wanted to do more. Seeing Gormund all alone, he went to over to the old timer. @Elenion Thats you
-
For the record, I'm not suspicious of you and want to keep you alive due to the fact that you contribute
-
Oops. I thought I could read. But thanks to Mac, I'm still right
-
He had one from BR as of the VC, and then I added my vote 1+1=2
-
I did, because he's the only one no one has heard from
-
Oh wait, I just noticed that you voted them my bad. Ecth is still tied, tho
