Mid-Range Game 31: Spiritual Warfare

I disagree. My take on the writeup was that nothing happened because you tried to lynch Joe, since he has yet to gain power. -

"Woah, did anyone else hear that? It was like ... it was similar to ... to ... " His eyes glazed over momentarily, as if he was about to pass out. "Hi! I feel like I know you, have we met?" I kind of feel like this may be an attempt to hide something about the secret rules, but I'm probably just being paranoid. -

"Hmmmm. It's very hazy, but it kind of feels like I was watching myself from another point of view. I think I was babbling, maybe? I do remember that I was and was not in pain. Like, my body was in pain, but I wasn't. It was nice." -

The crazy man (ooc: who really needs a name, sorry) turned to see who was talking to him. "No, I haven't been here long; but I don't recognize you. It almost feels like I know you from a dream somehow, if that makes any sense." Regarding the random reacts, I'm going to wait to reveal what I see until further notice for a variety of reasons, none of which are to hurt the village. -

The crazy man, who concluded that the main body of the group was content to ignore him for some reason, noticed that there was something off by itself at the edge of the group. Is that a ... squid? Yes. I do believe that is a floating Elantrian squid. Musings complete, he walked over to the squid. "Hello. I see you are made of steel." -

The crazy man from before slowly approached the group, seeming confused. "Did I ... have I seen you before?" he asked the group. "I feel like I have, but as far as I know I've avoided people since I got here." His movements and mannerisms were completely different from before, and he seemed genuinely confused. Hello all! If you want to RP with me, go right ahead! In relation to the random reactions, I suspect that it is set up such that only certain people can see certain things. -

This is RP. I am not claiming this actually happened. "I've seen him!! Domi himself spoke to me! Repent you fools, Repent! Joe is not the enemy!! REPENT" The wildman who had run up to the group earlier now collapsed, before slowly rising and wandering off; much like he had several hours ago when he burst in babbling about this Joe person -

Thoughts on this before the end of the cycle, anyone? -

Nope, killing Joe is the way to go. He just roped poor Darkness into this game as a distractio*n, so people didn't lynch him; trust me. Don't be a schmoe, vote Joe.* *I'm completely making this up as I go, I have no idea if killing Joe will actually do anythng -

I defend my Joe lynch attempt in two ways. One, there are secret rules, and when he put the clarifications up he listed my vote on him which makes me suspect that it may do something. Two, in other games where I've tried to lynch the GM and the GM didn't like it there was a lightning strike nearby to warn me off. So far, there has been none of this, so I'm comfortable with it. If you don't have a lynch canditate, vote Joe! If you have information on the secret rules, let me know -

That is something I did not consider in my worst case scenario, that in order for that to be the case each member of Spirit would have to be multi-faction, and would have to be a different multi-faction from the other. If, however, the Spirits aren't multi-faction, this will out all of the (non multi-faction) Independents. And I still just have a bad feeling about this idea in general. -

There are five factions: Spirit Baron Wildmen Children Independent. Worst case scenario is that Spirit has members in two other factions that are not the Independent. This means that they have 3 out of 4 factions with docs infiltrated, and from there could, with the help of Independents identifying themselves, be able to ascertain the faction of every player. I still stand against this idea. -

Also, something that concerns me greatly is the potential for secret rules. I am interested in people's thoughts on this, and for now I will vote A Joe in the Bush to see what happens -

I now understand what Shqueeves is saying, but I am of the opinion that it is too much info too early on. -

And how could we win this turn if the independents start contacting people? -
Mid-Range Game 31: Spiritual Warfare
Coop772 replied to Jo and the Bush's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Where in the rules does it say independents aren't on any teams? I took it to mean that independents don't have their own doc, but could still be in other factions because of multi-faction. Also, this would out the people in multi-faction, which isn't the best idea IMO because then Spirit wouldn't even need to pull one from each, just one that is in 2 and one that is in the other one -

Well, for starters, I'm not sure how exactly that would work, since we don't know who the Spirits are. Also, if I read the rules correctly, the Spirits definitely do have a chance of being in your faction, but until we have identities there's not much else we can do. Also, I would be down for playing your son @Young Bard -

Didn't read the rules, didn't read the synopsis, but I got the basics from the discord (check it out :)) and SIGN ME UP -
This is bad. I am useful, I promise, and I am village. I am hesitant to roleclaim in the thread, but will if it is the only way I survive. I am begging for my life at this point, but I'm afraid of revealing too much b/c if I do the elims will probably be after me. Ah, forget it. I voted the way I did because I know for a fact that that will not be my vote at the end of the day. I am crucial to the village, but I don't know what else to say.

Quick one, on mobile. I don't actually think WfY is evil, but I do have a reason for voting on them
