It makes it easier because it means coinshot kills will no longer be blocked by the elim lurcher. I was expecting Flamingo to be Thug or Mistborn, but I was most worried about the lurcher being an interference because I feel we're pretty close to solving this game. With the Lurcher out of the way, village can coordinate to kill you so we can figure out the rest of the elim team tomorrow. Fun stuff! Whether you flip elim or not, kinda doesn't matter, since either way we'll be able to move on with more information that we had before. Understandably, I am therefore in a good mood because the information we've been looking for all this time is finally all coming together. Not to mention, Flamingo's flip also hard clears multiple people. Namely, Coral Swan's attack is definitely not a WGG because of Flamingo being a lurcher, it just wouldn't line up for an elim team to be able to both protect Swan and Flamingo that night. There are some other people cleared by this as well.

While I understand your concerns about rhino, after some discussion in PMs Im just fine with what they're doing. I just... Yeah no they're not an elim.

I agree, Lions felt off. I'm not sure if that's confirmation bias, but their posts have felt off to me since about night 3.

Well now I'm feeling much better about the current state of this game. I was a bit frustrated by the total lack of information from deaths, but now it seems like if we find the elim lurcher, this puzzle will get solved pretty quickly. I think I'll tackle some analysis here in a bit to see if I can pick it apart a bit. If we run with the theory posited by Rhino, maybe there's something there to be discovered.

I always seem to go the route of surviving by just being a somewhat decent option for the elims to sus, just due to how I play.

Oh you do? Well in that case that makes me happy that my paranoid thoughts are just that Paranoid (Not that I'm displeased about that. Being overly paranoid about everything is a defense mechanism developed after certain betrayals) Legitimately though I spent like half an hour yesterday outlining various ways that Coral Swan could be a WGGa although you're also assuming a 4 man team, I'm still of the opinion it could be a 5 man team. Though... maybe it is just 4 people if Swan flips elim.

Meanwhile I've been busy trying to figure out if Coral Swan is a WGG, and if the elims are just trying to play an information denial game instead of anything else

What THE ACTUAL HECK Flamingo this is a game where people are supposed to die. Your stubborn refusal of death is completely unforgivable.

Bold claims, rhino. It would certainly explain your playstyle, but it also makes you sound like you're claiming to be the scanner. You sure about stating that publicly? I mean it's too late now, you've already posted, but personally I'd prefer not to trade one elim for one scanner.

Nice nice nice. Having one elim dead makes an entirely different form of analysis possible: interaction analysis. And yes, I know I said I'd post analysis today, but I got distracted with various IRL tasks. Guess I'll put it up during the night turn. And with crocodile to work off of, something juicy might come out of it.

Oh HO. Now that's interesting. There is a piece of me that is disappointed I didn't figure that out myself, given how much that one tineye message got my hackles up, but eh at this point with how little information we've gotten in the last 2 cycles, I'm gonna take it! Crocodile.

I'll toss a vote onto Flamingo but I'll be throwing up a post sometime discussing other suspicions and people I trust at this point. I know I talked about my analysis but I think it'd be fun to draw conclusions on all the living players to get a feel for stuff. But I also will not be throwing up such a post until tomorrow because I'm exhausted from having been traveling all day and I just want to sleep

Even if we do solidify the exe on Flamingo, I think it would be worthwhile to look things over and find other suspects. Or in my case, I think I have enough suspects at the moment and I'm going to... Find people I can trust? What could possibly go wrong?

Well that's... Not great. I was already hard reading Meerkat as village, but them being mistborn on top of that makes the loss much worse. There was a very small paranoid piece of me that was wondering why the elims hadn't killed them yet, but I'm glad that part of me remains the paranoid part of me. I genuinely have no idea who to exe. Not for lack of good targets, but just because I really want Penguin, Lion, and flamingo dead now, just for the audacity of surviving TWICE. And I'm just not sure exactly which of these three is the best use of time. Edit: alright after reading posts, I have an extremely crack theory that probably has something to do with me getting entirely too little sleep, but here it is: What if the elims just decided to troll the ever living flip out of us They must have known either Lion or Flamingo would get hit by the coinshot last night, and so they protected one in order to completely throw us off our game, waste another lynch, and aggravate the ever living flip out of me at the idea of needing to deal with BOTH LION AND FLAMINGO STILL BEING ALIVE AHHHHHHHHHH this is so annoying because this is a complete and utter waste of time

That's rough buddy. Once you've got the vomit cleaned up and you've done something nice for yourself for dealing with that, would you please give me a response on my question from last turn? Namely, why did you find me village on turn 2? Because you are kinda my prime suspect at the moment just for that alone, although, now that Opal Lion survived, and my reread of Day 3 that I just finished did NOT improve my read of them at all, that might not necessarily be the case depending on what happens tonight. Either way, I'd appreciate an answer to that when you've got the time. Yeah my reread has made me double down on my reactions last turn. Rereading chameleon, particularly on day 3 which wasn't part of my initial analysis, gave me a strong V vibe. Lion, it's just made it worse. Given that the coinshot will probably be hard pressed to kill both Ostrich and Lion, I'm going to have to go against my earlier argument and say maybe the coinshot kills Lion. That would be nice, I think. Otherwise I'm going to be tempted Day 4 just to vote Lion again, and that's exceedingly boring.

Abandoned my results? I explicitly voted Lion because of something I noticed in those results! That being that Lion had never bothered to vote. I can wait a turn to kill Penguin, particularly given that it seems that their IRL circumstances seem somewhat difficult. I'm not in a huge hurry. And I'll have you know I'm still updating my data collection! Doing it right now in fact. And yeah, I did let Cham off, but that's because my main point against them was that they weren't being very active, and I was looking in that area specifically for hiding elims. If they continue to be active and participate, that will give us additional information. So I figured it was worthwhile to switch trains.

also I'm quite curious what crocodile found weird about my comments because that analysis is legitimately the most effort I've put into SE since the last time I ran a game. An extreme aside. By the end, I will be extremely curious to see if people know who I am. I'm deliberately playing in complete anonymity, and I really want to know if despite that people will still pick up on it.

Well then, looking back at my attempt at collecting data, while Lion evaded being included on my low posters list because of their slightly increased amount of posts mid game (3-4 instead of 1-2 which is what I was looking at), I also noticed. that as far as I noted Lion has put down no votes. If Chameleon is committed to being more involved in solving the game, I'd argue my point against them is somewhat null, making the Lion vote a better option. Particularly because if they haven't been voting at all, that stinks. Chameleon Lion. Now I can't help but notice that I since I tagged Penguin about that question, they have been looking at thread, but have not responded. I don't like that. I don't necessarily find Lion suspicious, but I am somewhat paranoid of when people start village reading me when at that point I've done about as much work solving the game as a slug on their day off. It reeks to me of low effort reads that an elim is putting up just to have reads up to pass basic inspection. This is a weird thing that I have where I tend to trust people who find me suspicious and distrust people that find me trustworthy. But since there's no penguin train at the moment I will not be shifting my vote to them. Lion will provide some information, and then I'd be happy to start a vote on Penguin day 4 if no other better candidates have come up until then.

well I can't fault you much on that, goodness knows that's happened to me from time to time as well. That being said, I don't find that alignment indicative in any way. I'm not much inclined to find you more village for struggling with that. Although, if you are committed to being more involved in the game, I'd argue that would give us more information later on if we do exe you later, and thus strengthen the Lion vote in comparison to you. What say you?

That's true, you are on there twice lol. Well in that case I'm fine with either being exed really. I'd almost be more interested in the reasons that people would prefer one exe over the other, than their actual vote.

A three way tie? Fascinating. I dislike the Flamingo vote, as I mentioned earlier. I also somewhat agree with Scorpions read of Chameleon's latest post. It seems they didn't really bother to engage until they drew heat, but then also didn't actually bother to confront the heat either? That feels pretty... sus to me. Hehe. I'm sorry. I'm somewhat ambivalent towards the Lion vote, I think it does have the same reasoning as the Chameleon vote, but I feel the chameleon vote is a stronger vote, and I'd prefer this not be left up to vote manipulation.
