    I have limited sympathy for them if they keep choosing to delay the Coinshot kills. I have also spent today rereading the thread. In retrospect, I would like to kill Scorpion, mark Mouse down as being very suspicious with the sheer quantity of connections to Croc, commit to looking into Albatross and Dragonfly, and note some likely unfounded paranoia on Elephant and Toucan and Penguin.

    This is very sad. However, we can Exe you and let the Coinshot clean you up tonight. To me, this seems like a much better strategy than waiting a cycle for the Lurcher to reset, and taking the word of someone under heavy suspicion who has just been saved by a Spiked Lurcher. However, if you are interested in an alternative course of action, what were your metals C1/2/4, and what were you doing with them? There’s been no evidence of them existing, which makes me suspect that you are simply a Thug who has already lost a life trying to drag out your survival.

    lol. Okay. I have time so let’s address this. First, Rhino is threatening me with roles that don’t exist. If there’s a Seeker I don’t know about in contact with Meerkat’s trust group, I’ll eat my hat. They’d have scanned me first. There is one v-scanned member around, but it’s someone Kas got with Bronze N1, and there’s been nothing in PMs since about a scanner. I know the roles of everyone in the trust group. Because I put it together. There’s a CS floating around somewhere in there who’s been passed off as something else, and they’re known to the scanned player. That’s fine. Not really curious who that is. We’ve been coordinating kills anyway. The problem came last night with the Lurcher (who, for the record, I suspected and somewhat still suspect). I was put in contact with them, and was given a list which I gave to the Lurcher. From what I can tell, they protected from this list. I was attacked, lost my extra life, and told the Lurcher to say that I had changed my mind and asked for protection, because at this point I was still playing Schrödinger’s Rioter/Coinshot/Tineye in the trust PM to bait fire, and I wanted to keep up the illusion to see if I’d get hit again and potentially expose someone in the PM as a spy. From what I can gather from Rhino’s indignant comments, either the Lurcher changed their mind and protected me without telling me, which seems unlikely since I lost my extra life, or the CS claim which I did give to the Lurcher made them panic, tell the rest of the group, at which point Rhino fenced off the trust group from me after a few overtures which were ignored because I was busy and they were confusing, and then presumably started another PM to do this pointless inquisition. Along the way he makes up a bunch of stuff to try to scare a potential elim!me into a confession. It’s an effective tactic, but not a sustainable one. If I need to get Coinshot to clear this up, so be it, but it’s a waste of a shot. You have mistaken my tendency to gambit for a desire to actually kill you guys. There’s no need for this elaborate WGG setup if I was evil. I’d just keep shooting up the group. Which, I would point out, is what the actual Elims seem perfectly content to do, and you have just helped them with it. Hyena, Toucan, everyone else in the group: please look beyond the basic dishonesty and examine the actual evidence, and ask if this makes sense for an Elim to do. When I die tonight, please look into Rhino, Ele, Lion, DF, and possibly Mouse and Scorp.

    okay I'm about to go to class and do not have time to address most of the ridiculousness in here but I will say that I don't think your Lurcher trusts you as much as you think they do, or they were lying to me as well. I wasn't protected; the scan I actually know about was. I'm a Thug. There's my roleclaim. I might make a post later tonight detailing how much of this I think you are making up but if you are village I would like you to reread the PMs in question and see if they say what you think they are saying see you in 3 hours good day

I have claimed Rioter to people (@Azure Mouse should be able to substantiate). Recently I have been claiming Coinshot to people. I was playing as a role chameleon to organise the trust group you are now shutting me out of, and for doing what I was supposed to with the info Meerkat gave me, you are now deciding to unceremoniously throw me under the bus Do you really think the Elims can afford to be wasting kills on WGG antics? -.- You know perfectly well that I was playing the public face of the group, and firing off claims in distrust PMs. You were okay with this, until about five seconds ago. If you thought that wouldn't get me attacked, I don't know what you think would. yeah cause I'm not a rioter

    Cool. Thank you Rhino. Have you ever considered...just Seeking me? Since you know, you apparently have one of those? Might clear up whether or not I had good intentions or bad in trying to draw fire for the Coinshot. Instead, you're deciding to suspect me for calling the NK (correctly) and not wasting the Lurcher protection out there.

    …huh. This is a Flamingo alternative I could get behind. Seems we found the true elim Tineye. I assume we do standard practice of tracing the info back to source and lynching the Seeker if Crocodile is innocent but I’ll go with this for now. Doesn’t seem like a Meerkas gambit this time around

    I have a very simplified case against Flamingo: V!Flamingo, to survive unaided, has to be a Mistborn. Raw Thug and Lurcher cannot save you two nights in a row. Assuming Pewter was not drawn N1, the odds of a double Pewter roll N2/3 are (9/64 * 2/64), about a 0.44% chance, which I am discarding for the sake of sanity. (Also v! Flamingo should have warned us if this happened, since the Coinshot clearly has a thing for them >>) If they drew Iron in conjunction with Pewter, it’s still not great odds, and self-pres with said Iron is also not a good look. Thus, I am unwilling to assume Flamingo survived unaided. There is only one remaining world, then: Flamingo was saved by the Spiked. If Flamingo is village and this is a frame job, then we either have to theorise e!Coinshot which means Elan and Devo are boring and uninventive with their trolls (X), or v!Lion with v!Flamingo. Why? Because any Coinshot with an ounce of sense should have shot Lion yesterday, and if they had a little less than an ounce then the Flam shot happens as we’ve seen. (No sense!CS shooting a random third party luckily did not happen.) So the Elims have to choose between the two of these people who to protect. If Lion is evil, they protect him. If he’s village, they can choose between him and Flam. However, I refuse to accept a v!Lion, v!Flamingo world because it makes zero storming sense. Ergo, Flamingo evil. The prosecution rests, your Honour. [Your Preservation? We are on Scadrial…]

    I am judging them on the merits; here, the merits in question are whether a villager or an Elim is more likely to deny the thread information which is crucial in deciding whether or not to Exe them, and use discussion on their survival. In this case, I am reading the refusal as Evil. Conversely, I will probably read whatever claim is made as Village, but that does not negate the need for the claim. Also for everyone trying to read into a Tyrian distro, I have a word of advice: don’t. >> We can make general assumptions about how things might look, perhaps, but I am dismissing any speculation that is too concrete. These distros are known for being absurd. I esteem Elan and Devo highly enough to expect nothing less than madness if we try to Rolex.

    Returning to note that I find this a rather unhelpful attitude, and it is making me lean Elim on you even further. If you’re a powerful role and you are village, we do not want to Exe you. If you are not a powerful role and you are village, we still do not want to Exe you. If we Exe you because you’re being intentionally vague about your survival—a very reasonable point of suspicion—we are hurting the Village even more because we don’t even have to make the Elims waste a kill on you. Your role information is never more important than your actual life (Seekers and Coinshots, take note), and is frequently less important than subsidiary concerns, i.e., whether we should treat you as a suspect for surviving a Coinshot hit. You can help us clear this up and move us to more productive discussion, perhaps even helping you avoid a night kill (the Coinshot has incentive to hit you again tonight to clear the air), and are choosing to maintain obscurity instead for the sole purpose of trying to preserve your own life for a while longer. Have read the Dragonfly arguments and would be fine going there, but I want to maintain my Flamingo vote for now.

The Kings of this game might not care about the treasures of the earth, but I certainly treasure our limited time this Day, and leaving the thread dead for 12 hours won’t catch anyone. We have four votes cast. Everyone who has not voted, I urge you to find a suspicion and do so. I am content with my vote on Flamingo, and will post something longer tonight (and catch up on PM backlog…what have I done…). Only other specific comment is that I would reiterate @Salmon Meerkat‘s excellent points about claiming after survival, and would again encourage Flamingo to be plain about why they are still alive.
