Long Game 49/Anonymous Game 3: Window to the Past
Saffron Iguana replied to little wilson's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Venli attuned the rhythm of irritation. She was using it a lot lately. She employed something she had learned from the Alethi. "Damnation! This will hurt the treaty, which will hurt my people! My people can't afford that!"- 1062 replies

I think it may have actually been Ialai. Not for Torol, but for the other two. And who knows, maybe it was her who killed Sadeas.- 1062 replies

Venli attuned the rhythm of irritation. "I wonder why someone would attack you? You were just saying that Alethi politics is sophisticated and not all about violence, but then you were attacked! Are all Alethi like this?"- 1062 replies

"It's..." She thought carefully. "Different. We are a small group, and we live largely isolated. We have a group of five governing us. How does your king govern?" @SE_Jasnah_Kholin- 1062 replies

Though Venli's first reaction to the man (@SE_Adolin_Kholin) was one of disgust, she realized it could be helpful to her learning to do this. She grabbed his hand and stood up. "Yes, I would."- 1062 replies

Anniversary Game 4/Anonymous Game 1: A Fresh Start
Saffron Iguana replied to Orlok Tsubodai's topic in Sanderson Elimination
True Inactives: @Amber Vulture @Opal Lion @Plum Rhinoceros Lurkers: @Chartreuse Penguin @Quartz Zebra Lady Emalia stretched her arms, yawning deeply. A bit of beauty sleep could do wonders for the body. Still, there was work to be done. The mood in the inn had become even worse since she left. She quickly took stock of the current suspects. A cranky old man by the name of Karthik (Taupe Gecko) was currently being questioned by several angry villagers. He was apparently being overly cryptic, potentially planning some dastardly deed. She shrugged. At least he was going down swinging, accusing the innkeeper of being a Voidbringer. That case seemed even more tenuous, and he had been nice enough, so she discarded it. She examined the remaining candidates. Pearl Chamleon was calling for Quentisan's (Melon Dingo) head. The investigator had slid into the shadows after being accused, which did seem suspicious. She made sure to make a note of that. There was also Amethyst Scorpion. He had been voted on for being a bad poet, which was accurate, and gut feeling, which was less accurate. She sighed. That didn't seem like much of a lead. Upon re-examination, Mauve Crocodile was also being attacked, merely for superstitious reasons. Again, nothing that interesting. The whole town had practically gathered at the inn. She asked the orphan boy if anyone was missing, and found a list of five names. Three of them hadn't been spotted since the blacksmith's murder. That was understandable at least. They could have taken ill, or even murdered themselves. Given time, she knew that they would be better people in the end (Pinch hitters). However, two men had been spotted outside the tavern, yet had neglected to come in. That was simply unacceptable. They had a job to do here, and she wouldn't accept them running away from it. Like it or not, they were part of this town, and so they had to participate. One man in particular was getting some flack, and so she took up the call for his blood. "Chartreuse Penguin, you are charged with not doing your duty as a villager of this town, and being a coward in the face of death! How do you plead?"- 1054 replies

It makes things easier to keep track of, especially for the GMs. If you do want to vote in roleplay, I recommend putting their animal in parentheses after you use their RP name. It lets people see that they've been voted on much more easily.- 1054 replies

It doesn't have to be very long, but it will help everyone stick out more. Plus, it's fun seeing our little town growing, before it all goes to hell. I don't expect everyone to do it, but it would be nice if more people did.- 1054 replies

Anniversary Game 4/Anonymous Game 1: A Fresh Start
Saffron Iguana replied to Orlok Tsubodai's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Lady Emalia strode confidently into the inn. It seemed fate had brought her here, and she wasn't one to pass up a good time. She briefly paused to inspect her clothing; her expensive saffron-colored dress looked particularly radiant today. Satisfied, she strode up to the bar, resting her arm on the counter, letting the innkeeper see the shortness of her safe hand's glove. She smiled, ordered a light red wine, and began to talk to the barkeep. "I hate to alarm you, but this town is doomed. It's the way these things go. First, it's the blacksmith, then it's the urchin kid, then it's the mayor, then it's someone else, and then someone else, and then pretty soon the whole town goes up in smoke. Hell, you get people scared enough, they start doing it to themselves. It's a nasty business, this." She smiled, having finally received her wine. She took a sip, and continued, "Not that there's no hope. The town might be doomed, but we can always find the people responsible. Less bad guys is always good, I suppose." She sighed, half remembering something. "It's already started here. I already gave one guy advice on how to do it. I mean, all you really have to do is shout loudly and point your finger. Not sure what's so hard about that, but there you go." She took another sip of her wine. It wasn't that bad, all things considered. "Well, that's enough out of me. I suppose I'll need a room for the next couple of days. No point in trying to run. It makes you look like you're fleeing the crime scene." She downed the rest of her wine in one large swig. "Now if you'll excuse me, I need to retire for the day. I've had an awfully long journey here, and I need some beauty sleep." She smiled, stood up, and walked elegantly to her room. Hopefully, no one saw her hands shaking, fearful of the violence to come.- 1054 replies
