  1. Hmm, well out of the Shards in this game: Ambition, Autonomy, Endowment, Cultivation, Dominion, Devotion, Honor, Odium, Preservation, and Ruin. The fact that Odium is red, and Autonomy is Orange would lead me to think that these are not random colors assigned to the Shards. For the color yellow, the Shard of Devotion is the first to come to mind, though Preservation and Ambition are also ones I could see.
  2. Oh! I dont know what about Magenta's post reminded me of this, but when Penguin died, Weasel suggested that Odium was in Hidden Garden due to the faction color being red. Worth pointing out.
  3. On Sel we were pretty sure Mouse wasnt Odium, but other than that, we didnt talk about their identity.
  4. Ambition cast an extra vote on Scarlet D2 as well. Edit: I just noticed the tag "secrets". That makes me a bit uneasy.
  5. I just searched them up, I couldn't really tell from the profile picture, but they are SO CUTE!!!!! In fact, I would dare to say that they are even cuter than the Lion!
  6. I agree with your sentence. It is frustrating for lynches to be focused around these people. However, there aren't a lot of people in the thread having a meaningful discussion. Weasel is one of those. We should stop focusing on weasel, but not because we do lynch him, but because we decide to stop feeling sour about the lynch on D2.
  7. Mauve Crocodile I find that post a bit concerning. You are just taking for granted that Ruin (who Weasel claimed is in their faction) and Odium are just going to do as you say. Weasel and Axolotl are 2 of the players most open to being collaborative, and your bloodthirst towards them seems misguided. I see no benefit to targeting Axolotl. The reason to lynch them is "they may be a Shard". I do not want to take that mentality though, as I want to be able to ask for favors from other Shards. The alternative is they are in the same faction as Cultivation. one of the 2 Shards I specifically do not want to get on the bad side of, because she can revive Splintered Shards (the other being Endowment). So there are 2 reasons not to target Axolotl, and the benefit, is we may learn what Shar they have. But we also may not. I haven't yet heard back from the GMs if passing the Shard on the same they get lynched will get that Shard revealed. For Weasel, Tuatara (frog) and I agree that Weasel has generally not been an issue this game. It is annoying they didn't die D2, but we have already gained information from them being alive that I think should cover that annoyance. I think this is the wrong attitude to go for. For example, I am pretty dumb sometimes (which my faction can confirm), and I sometimes like to have other, more intelligent people around me to give me ideas. My faction isn't always around, so I resort to you lot. I also have no issue winning alongside other people. Not everyone will be able to win, however, we are all trying to. Collaboration gives everyone an edge over the non-collaborators.
  8. I dont see the benifit of lynching someone for (possibly) being a Shard. You learn what the Shard is, but you also make that Shard less likely to want to work with you in the future. Also, there is a minor benifit of knowing what Shards belong to which factions, but I would rather know player names than faction names. If you want to contact the Shard, knowing players to contact will be more useful than knowing a faction to contact.
  9. Sel: Vhelir stood there, in front of 4 other Elantrians, what were their names again? He actually couldn't remember any of them introducing themselves. How rude of us all. So he went forward to shake their hands. "I apologize it took so long for me to realize, but I don't even know what to call any of you. My name is Vhelir, and I hope as this critical situation continues, we can all do what we can to defuse it by working together". The person right in front of him ( @Mint Heron ) just stared at him blankly. Ok then, I wonder what I did wrong. "Do you not think I intend to help stop the war?". No response. "Well, I have only been on Sel for 2 days so far, but I have already contacted 2 people, one who goes by @Sunburst Toucan, and another of the name @Indigo Weasel. Perhaps now that you know I am using my abilities for the benefit of all, you will trust me a little more?"
  10. I dont have anything to add right now, but I keep getting confused on what the status of the lynch is. So this should be the current vote count. Weasel(2): Mouse, Tautara(frog) Lion(2): Crocodile, Weasel Swan(1): Zebra
  11. I think people are still a bit miffed that Weasel got himself lynched D2 just to waste a lynch. They then claimed they had Ruin in their faction. This is the real reason people want to lynch him. Anything on top of that, is just people trying to find additional justification.
  12. Well, it is definitely generating discussion, though I agree it is not productive. If there is any turn Weasel wouldn't be protected, I think it would be this one. I also would be interested in seeing what happens when Weasel is lynched, though if what they say about their faction is correct, out of every member of their faction, Weasel should be the one we want to lynch least. Granted, if we really want to lynch someone from a faction that hasn't died yet, there aren't many options that we know of at the moment.
  13. Ooh, yes. I forgot about the word dialect. Please hold a moment while I search up the official definition of that word in this context as well. xD
  14. You know, I was trying to turn this into an educated debate. But i suppose calling people heathens works too.
  15. Well, that completely depends, do we consider English and English the same language? What are the definitions of "word", "slang", and "shorthand". If those 2 aren't the same language, they are both correct. If they are, then the definitions of those 3 words become relevent. Oh, I suppose we also need the definition of "language" just to be able to tell if they are the same or not.
  16. In all seriousness, do you have a faction with people other than you in it? If so, you may want to ask them for some help catching you up. If you are in the Utility Company... I don't know what to say.
  17. Well, what you should be doing, is heading to Sel to PM me, then I can tell you how to help me with my wincon, and you can do that.
  18. Well, my animal is obviously superior to others (from the perspective of my animal) so it is of vital importance to convey that to everyone. No it doesnt matter at all, but I was enjoying looking up the reptilian family to see if there was a section I could focus on that Tuatara wasnt in. According to others? You dont think so?
  19. @Pearl Chameleon we should lynch Tuatara for being so insulting to our noble and majestic race. That will teach that frog a lesson.
  20. Well, if a role was capable of doing a game-wide roleblock, I would admit that could be seen as scary. Though Preservation cant publiclly do that. While Preservation was presented as the good guy in Mistborn, he really wasnt. If he was at full strength, no kne would die, nothing would change, I dont know if he would even have life, as life does stuff.
  21. If you are just guessing, I doubt sharing it will put any more of a target on your head than already exists. Do you think the wincon would be mechanic or book related?
  22. Agreed. Though we would need them to claim to know for sure, and that may be unlikely to happen. Your question is a great way to make enemies in this game... lynching Shards doesn't really do much except make that Shard's faction smaller. You need Odium to truly remove a shards powers. I am aprehensive of Odium and Ruin as those shards likely belong to the factions that most likely involve killing Wincons, but I wouldnt necisarily say those are the shards I would want to lynch. It would also depend on circumstances. What is your own response to your question, @Violet Axolotl?
  23. Wow, thats a lot of Kandras. Question, if Ruin attacks a Kandra, does the Kandra switch factions? I am a bit concerned with how many players there are that are Apperantly spiked.
  24. I think lynching Weasel would give us the most information, but if I would imagine Weasel would be protected by Devotion again, unless they plan on sticking another person out there to draw attention away from Weasel. I just got online, but will try to go through the thread and such and try to decide who I think would be best to lynch.
