Anniversary Game 8 / AN11: Back to Beginnings
Onyx Flamingo replied to Elbereth's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Mmmm bad feeling about this. Everyone immediately posted a vote on Meerkat without much reasoning, not just Alb. Alb an easy target? I'm gonna have to join Swan on you. Gorilla. -

To be fair, this was the point where I believed the Seeker scan on you was legit, and therefore believed the evidence of an existing seeker. It was also past midnight. Meerkat. I don't have any thoughts really right now. That is all. -

Digging the question mark by my name lol. Anyway, of these I say scan Alb, because the loss of a v!thug is concerning. (You're welcome to scan me, Seeker, if that's what you think is best). Realizing that trying to discuss who to scan in thread makes it likely for the elims to try and smoke potential scan targets. Hooray. Seeker, just scan who you want sdfsdfkjsdhf. -

Salmon Meerkat Nice one gamers Edit: The loss of a village thug makes me think alb is an elim thug. Its midnight and that's the best I can manage for helpful analysis atm. Edeis needs her beauty rest it's hard work being the prettiest woman in town. -

That's upsetting and very unexpected. I genuinely thought that we had an elim. Okay, that greatly raises my suspicions on gorilla now, thanks to the vote manip from D1. Also eases my sus level on Swan. I'll probably analyze the votes tomorrow. -- Well, Edeis had managed to escape the town's rampaging. She peered at herself in the mirror. Blotchy skin, tear stains, and puffy eyes galore. Wonderful. She needed to clean up, couldn't have herself looking like a wreck. Of course you survived, her reflection seemed to say back to her as she worked. Who would want to get rid of you? You're perfect. Edeis finished her makeup. -

Yeah I saw it! And I don't agree with it being a strong enough reason for a vote. But that's why we play this game! We have suspicions and we put them into play. -

I just don't see Gorilla as evil, really and honestly. A lot of the D1 reasoning was unhelpful rp (which I don't think warrants a vote) and the opportunistic/self-pres vote, which is a valid thing to do to stay alive. (Okay I just got ninja'd by Gorilla and I gotta say not liking the vibe of that post so they might be lowering on my reads. Haha oops). Okay, I just read all of your posts through, and I'm not seeing any particularly strong reasoning on Gorilla still. Unhelpful rp, opportunistic vote, and dislike of their reasoning on Alb. On D1, you posted a reads list with Gorilla as spiked, though provided no explanation: And today you posted this: However, you also said before: So that's a direct contradiction, because you said that I'm the person you want dead most of the options, but technically that would be Ig, right? Now, I could say this is e/e, but I'm not super suspicious of you (yet). I am, however, very suspicious of Ig, and if we get their flip, well that'll tell me a lot of things about you I think. So, after going through all of your posts, I still don't understand gorilla. My reasoning why I think the vote manip is more sus for Ig is because I don't think gorilla is evil, and I'm seeing a lot of weird evidence pointing to some e/e here. -

I suspect Iguana based on their tone D1 and the vote manip on them, mainly. I echo a lot of what Hyena said earlier! And sorry, I'll go back and find those! -

I don't like waiting until the last minute to vote, so I'm going to go ahead and place one on Saffron Iguana, since they're my top sus. I would love to hear more reasoning behind the Gorilla suspicion, though. @Coral Swan -- Edeis woke to the sound of her own name, followed by some angry grumbling. Had she been dozing? A glance out the window showed yes, she had been out for a bit. Perhaps she had angered someone with her gossip. That happened sometimes. She put her ear to the door to get a better listen of those talking outside. What were they saying about her? Oh. Oh dear. -

I'm going to be super honest with y'all here: I checked out of the game quite heavily after getting sick irl with what may or may not be the thing that's going on in the world rn :/. I'm on the mend though, and will be back in the game with genuine thoughts soon. For now, though, I've been letting myself a break. Now, as for in game reasoning: I wasn't reading Gorilla as elim. I just could not figure out where the elim suspicion was coming from, and I think that was partly because I was mixing everyone up. I'm going to go back and reread D1/N1 and get a better read on everyone. I'll admit it, my D1 vote was not good, because I had no good reasoning to vote for anyone so I took my best gut guess, as I normally do D1 in other games I've played. As for right now... I'm getting elimmy vibes from Falcon. I don't like them outing that they've got a correspondence from the coinshot. However, idk if an elim would be brave enough to admit something like that in thread. I think it's a bluff to gain village points, tbh. Not sure how to feel about Albatross. I've played one too many games with elim thugs, and if our coinshot is village, then the likelihood of there being an elim!thug is high. Not enough evidence to exe Alb though, since I think their posts are good. I have a weird read on them, don't exe yet. I'm going to have to agree with Hyena wrt Iguana. So far, that's my strongest elim read, and considering the thread is so conflicted about them it might just be worth it to exe them and get our answers. That probably sounds aggressive lol. The somewhat panicking at the end of a cycle is the big tip off for me. Edeis will return to thread when she gets over the sickness she caught from me XD (ie, when I have creative juices flowing again and can write her properly :P) -

Oof. Sorry Croc. Some thoughts after skimming the thread/write up: yes the vote manip makes Iguana look bad, and I'm inclined to agree with previous comments, but my paranoia has me wondering if this is a very complex elim ploy to turn our attention away from them. If we have a village seeker and Iguana doesn't get yoinked by a coinshot kill tonight, I'd like to see them scanned. I lean less suspicious of Gorilla but I couldn't tell you why. Gut read, mostly. Emotional allomancy always confuses me, so I'm not going to weigh in on how many rioters/soothers we may have. Soothers are way easier to understand, tbh. Is it bad that I hope it's just soothers? Anyway, Edeis is getting her beauty rest currently, as she has far too many plans for tomorrow and therefore cannot be bothered to make an rp appearance right now. Everyone wish her sweet dreams. -

Edeis overheard the whispers, spreading like wildfire. This was the part she loved about the rumors; the more people discussed, the more she learned. Keeping notes about others in her mental checklist. Unfortunately, her nod to Dyring (Violet Axolotl) had not been lucrative. That was okay, they were far too on the nose anyway. She hadn't gleaned anything from them. But her ears did pick up on another whisper. Someone asking for support, or perhaps a change of heart? Interesting. With a sigh, Edeis turned her attention back to Dyring. "I'm not sure I agree with you. Mauve Crocodile is being quite defensive, don't you think?" -- Unlike Edeis, I don't have a mental checklist of people because I am having an obscenely hard time keeping track of everyone. Curse you anonymous accounts! However, Mauve's sudden ask for a vote on Zebra strikes me as strange. If they've previously discussed voting on Zebra, please point me to that post. I am, unfortunately, sick and so keeping track of posts is hard. -

The people here were far too boring. Not enough happened in the sleepy little town Edeis, unfortunately, found herself in. There was news, of course. Koloss coming into town, hellbent on utter destruction. That wasn't entertaining though, just scary. Who got enjoyment out of news of impending doom, no matter how outrageous? Not Edeis, at least. She'd skip town before then, find herself another little place to hide away. No Koloss for her, thank you very much. Too pretty of a face to ruin. No, no, Tyrian Falls needed to liven up a little. Get something else on their minds besides the Koloss. Too many people were too quiet. Needed to speak up more. She could get them talking, maybe. Just the right words. "Violet Axolotl seems a little over eager, don't you think?" -- There are TOO MANY ANIMAL NAMES my brain is not working. Time to read everything over a few more times and take note of who's said what. Needed to get something out there though. Vote will likely change. -

"How? How?" I stare at the Listeners around me, unable to comprehend their resilience. "How can you defy Odium?!" It felt like ages since the Fused came to me. Since Odium had called me. I longed to serve him. To be a Regal again. I look down at the simple form I had been forced to take. Primitive. If only they knew the strength that came with becoming something more. Of holding a piece of the gods within their gemheart. Their simple spren were not enough to satisfy the knowledge of what we could all achieve. if we simply followed him. I hold out a gem which glows and sparks light lightning. "See? This is what you could be. This is what you could do if you simply let go. Serve Odium." Only hostile glares and shouts greet my words. A few eyes seem intrigued. Maybe. Just maybe one will be drawn to take up the cause. "Even if I die here like my companions, the Fused are returning. When they gather, you will not be able to resist. Odium will win! If you do not choose him now, you will not get the choice later."- 819 replies
