Long Game 49/Anonymous Game 3: Window to the Past
Fuchsia Ostrich replied to little wilson's topic in Sanderson Elimination
"If ever there is to be peace between our two peoples" Jasnah began, "we must put aside our differences. We must come together, and form an alliance that is mutually beneficial to both sides. In order to meet this need, I hereby declare pardon to any and all people who have engaged in criminal acts this evening" However, each of your names will be placed on a watchlist. I cannot have criminals running around this kingdom. Furthermore, I hereby grant that the Parshendi will have a Seat on the Alethi magisterial council. This seat will be advisory only, and will not have a vote in most matters, But this will allow the Parshendi to have advanced notice of any decisions that the Alethi choose to make." After a moment of awkward pause, Jasnah continued "I realize that this is unconventional, and may draw criticism from many of the outer peoples of our kingdom. Therefore, this decision will be re-evaluated 6 months from now to determine it's effectiveness, and it's advantages for both our people."- 1062 replies

Long Game 49/Anonymous Game 3: Window to the Past
Fuchsia Ostrich replied to little wilson's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Klade, Who else are you worried will attack you? By hiding, and explaining that you plan to gamble, you have shown that you do not have major urgency in completing your win condition, Adolin was the one who was most afraid of you, and therefore, he was the one to attack you. I think that by evading answering, you are making us more suspicious of you. Last cycle you were hiding, which is also what I imagine you did the night before. So I understand that. You will likely continue to hide, until you are ready to perform your action, which could be any cycle now, therefore making the rest of us more nervous about you, and more likely to retaliate.- 1062 replies

Long Game 49/Anonymous Game 3: Window to the Past
Fuchsia Ostrich replied to little wilson's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Jasnah noted Klade had stepped back, thinking. "The desolation has come upon us, and we've fought off a voidbringer and won." Jasnah declared. "Yet, I suspect there is more to this mystery than we think. My father has been studying these parshendi for some time, And I've recently come across his studies. It seems that parshendi can change forms based on what type of spren is held within their hearts. "From private conversations with Venli earlier this evening, I have discovered that they have run away from their oppressive gods. Perhaps this spren has something to do with that. For the safety of Klade, who is the last of his people left in the castle, we must keep any black sphere away from him. "Therefore, by decree of the queen, if anyone is to come across this black sphere, please inform either me, ivory, or Ialai, and we will do what we can to destroy it."- 1062 replies

Long Game 49/Anonymous Game 3: Window to the Past
Fuchsia Ostrich replied to little wilson's topic in Sanderson Elimination
1. Gavilar Kholin (Amber Vulture) - Possibly leader of SoH, Was killed by Aesudan. Did she have her own motives with the black sphere? 2. Dalinar Kholin (Amethyst Scorpion) - Killed by Venli, in order to kill a member of Gavilar's War Crew. Which seems odd to me, because the Parshendi had little to do with the War-like Parshendi, as they were trying to create a treaty 3. Torol Sadeas (Azure Mouse) - Killed by Ialai, by accident after a redirect. Kill was supposed to hit Restares 4. Meridas Amaram (Charcoal Hyena) - I'm pretty sure tearim confirmed he was a SoH, and therefore had some adverse Win-con. 5. Restares (Chartreuse Penguin) - Responsible for the kill attempt on me. Don't know much else. 6. Tearim (Coral Swan) - Currently ostracized for possibly being a causer of the desolation. Previously had something to do with SoH. He says that's over, but no one trusted him enough to not lynch him. 7. Navani Kholin (Cream Tuatara) - Died Recently. We still don't exactly know by whom. It was not Adolin or Klade. 8. Ialai Sadeas (Emerald Falcon) - Responsible for Kill on Torol, also responsible for the kill on Szeth, because outing that she had killed Torol in the thread somehow invalidated her win con to kill. Possibly to complete a wincon to join a secret society. Though I consider it unlikely, because the rest of the game she has seemed to be relatively cooperative. 9. Jasnah Kholin (Fuchsia Ostrich) - Partially responsible for kill on Restares, in order to punish my attacker. 10. Ivory (Indigo Weasel) - Currently Bonded. to me. Partially responsible for Kill on Restares. 11. Elhokar Kholin (Ivory Dragonfly) 12. Aesudan Kholin (Magenta Albatross) - Widely believed to be responsible for Gavilar's death, Killed by Adolin, if I remember correctly 13. Adolin Kholin (Mauve Crocodile) - Has played a game with much death, including, conspiring to kill his father, Killing Aesudan(Honor bless him), Attempting to kill Klade, Attempting to kill Venli, Killing Darkness, by accident. 14. Renarin Kholin (Melon Dingo) 15. Wit (Mint Heron) - Apparently recently finished his win con of helping people, and now must stop the desolation. 16. Liss (Onyx Flamingo) - Currently ostracized, most likely because she attempted to gamble. Her win con was to cooperate with me in killing someone. We attempted to do that with Amaram, but I was redirected to Amaram, so I ended up assisting him, instead of Liss. Was considering attempting an attack on Venli during her ostracization, but decided against it. Killed Amaram. 17. Drunk Beggar (Opal Lion) - Happened to protect me the same cycle I was attacked. Seems genuinely good, as he decided to walk into Yelig-Nar to stop it. Do they have their honorblade? 18. Ash (Oxblood Beagle) - Relatively less active. 19. Darkness (Pearl Chameleon) - Had Win con to punish criminals by ostracizing them. That's really all I remember about them 20. Kelek (Plum Rhinoceros) - Protected Klade this cycle, and is therefore the reason he is still alive. 21. Eshonai (Quartz Zebra) - Adolin claimed not to have killed Eshonai, which means their killer may still be at large. It could be tearim, or Liss, but Who knows? 22. Venli (Saffron Iguana) - Was in ostracization of possibly working to cause desolation, as well as killing Dalinar. Died while in ostracization 23. Klade (Sage Kangaroo) - In the action that Darkness died, Klade did not do anything, meaning he was not the one to redirect Adolin to Darkness. Unfortunately that does not vouch for the possibility that the Parshendi are responsible for the deaths of the Kholins 24. Thaidakar (Salmon Meerkat) - Was a Ghostblood. First killed if I'm not wrong. 25. Szeth Sapphire Elephant) - Was helping parshendi, who had his oathstone. This list is in no way exhaustive, and it only contains some quick thoughts on most players. If anyone wants to add to it, that'd be great! Also I think that at this point it is to our advantage to disclose anything anyone knows about any of the murders that have occurred at any point during this feast "As queen, I will hereby pardon any offenses that come forth now, as they will all help us gather and collect information in order to stop the desolation.- 1062 replies

Ok, so you accidentally killed darkness, Liss killed Amaram. So what made you decide to attack Klade as opposed to Tearim? You may have already answered, but I just switched to mobile, making it harder to look, and I'm too lazy to try.- 1062 replies

Long Game 49/Anonymous Game 3: Window to the Past
Fuchsia Ostrich replied to little wilson's topic in Sanderson Elimination
This just got more interesting, because I know that Liss had a wincon to cooperate with me in killing someone. She and I put in an action together to kill Amaram. (I think Wit can confirm this) But my action to cooperate was redirected, and Liss successfully killed Amaram. Because I was redirected, Liss then told me that she was planning on assisting Adolin with assisting killing Venli, and asked that I assist. I refused because I didn't like the Idea until I had more evidence. So, Knowing that Liss was assisting Adolin to kill Venli, I can no longer trust what Adolin has said for now. I will post more on this later, but I am still suspicious that even though Adolin lied, he might be on the right track. It's either they have to die, or SoH all have to die, or Heralds have to die, though that one conflicts with the fact that the living heralds tend to break easier than Taln.- 1062 replies

"Adolin, my poor cousin," Jasnah began, "What you do not understand is that I am a Queen, not a King. The Alethi men, despite all their attempts at diplomacy, tend to resort to violence in the end. As you have seen, and as Klade claims that you have done."However, us women are very apt at diplomacy. It is unfortunate that my mother was killed, but I believe that I will be able to save our kingdom, and perhaps save the treaty, because we do have much to learn of each other."- 1062 replies

I guess I'm the queen now. Jasnah thought. How unorthodox and backwards this feast ended up being. Jasnah had been kind to the Parshendi, and perhaps if two of them weren't dead now at the hand of the humans at the party, then the treaty could be salvaged. Unfortunately it did not look like that was a possibility, as the killer was still at large. Jasnah walked up to Klade. "Klade, I wish the best for you and the rest of your people. This night has been unfortunate, and I understand that you and yours may be very angry at us. I just want to let you know that we will try to get to the bottom of this all. It is understandable if you choose to reject this treaty, however, it is still offered to you. And the least I can do is escort you to safety if needs be" Ninja'd by Kelek- 1062 replies

Long Game 49/Anonymous Game 3: Window to the Past
Fuchsia Ostrich replied to little wilson's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I should correct myself. The only spren is someone I'm bonded to. But after a discussion via PM with someone I have reduced the likelihood that Ivory is corrupt to a very low possibility. That might seem like a decent idea. I don't like watching people get killed unnecessarily, but I think I am going to follow Navani's actions, and vote Tearim, while hoping the parshendi peccant gets Klade. That gets rid of two of the possibilities that I had, and only leaves the second option, which is that the Heralds must be killed. Which is what Tearim is trying to prevent. Which further suggests that Maybe Tearim knows how to not prevent the desolation and is trying to make that happen.- 1062 replies

Fuchsia Ostrich replied to little wilson's topic in Sanderson Elimination
So I have a few Ideas of possible ways to stop the desolation, but unfortunately, all of them involve losing some or part of a group of players. So far, I haven't acted on any of these ideas. 1. Kill the parshendi. With no parshendi, who will there be to start a desolation? 2. Kill the Heralds. Perhaps after they are killed, they return to help Taln(?)(I can't remember if it's him holding off the desolation, or another) 3. Kill off all of the SoH. Tearim has confessed that he had something to do with them. But he also confessed that that win condition is null and void. 4. After reading the thread this morning, the last idea popped into my head. Kill any corrupt spren. Unfortunately, the only one of those is someone with whom I am bonded, Said bond gives me better chances of many useful actions. I have no idea which I believe is more likely, and If anyone else has other ideas, please suggest them as well. I know that most of us seem to have the win condition to stop the desolation, but we all have different knowledge, so maybe none of my ideas are actually correct.- 1062 replies

Jasnah let Ivory slip out of her hands. Had they just defeated an unmade? The likes of such monstrosities hadn't been seen in milennia, and they captured it after only two casualties. Unfortunately, one of them was someone Jasnah had trusted. "This goes to show that I must be more careful who I choose to trust" Jasnah whispered to herself.- 1062 replies

The unmade was stalling, and it disconcerted Jasnah. She left the Heralds to discuss her proposition, and told them to call out to her if they needed any assistance. Jasnah began worrying. Why was the unmade stalling? What could she do to save her family? She wondered if she could peer into Shadesmar, without falling completely into it, like she had done at the beginning of the night. She decided to try. Hesitantly, she repeated what she thought she did before. Nothing. She tried a little bit harder. "Storms. How did I do that" She cursed to herself. One more try. She pushed the limits of her understanding. And she began to see her shadow change. It wiggled a little bit, and began shifting towards the lights, instead of away. . Harder, She thought. She kept pushing, and her shadow was actually able to switch directions. But with all the Chaos going on, Jasnah couldn't focus to keep trying, nor did she have time. She was forced to quit trying, as some of the lesser brighteyes approached her, and began frantically asking for more help. It was time. All they needed was for Ivory to return, and they would try catching the Unmade. Just as she thought that, She saw the figure of Ivory appear, near Navani, at the end of the hall.- 1062 replies

Jasnah had finished her soulcasting. It looked like Ialai had almost finished her glyphwards, and the last pieces were being put together on Navani's mega fabrial, so Jasnah took a step back to analyze what was about to happen. She noticed multiple foreign dignitaries all congregating around Nalan. Weighing the risk of approaching Nalan, she decided it was worth it. As she walked up to the other dignitaries, she began to confirm her suspicions. These are all Heralds. Jasnah realized. I hope I'm not walking up to my death. She reached the edge of the circle of Heralds. More nervous than she ever remembered, she asked "Are you all Heralds?" After a reluctant confirmation from the group, and deathly shots from Nalans eyes, Jasnah continued, "I believe that I am the first new radiant of the Elsecallers. I have only a few hours of experience with my abilities, but I know that we need to stop this desolation. What do you need from us, as common people, in order to stop this monstrosity that we have unwittingly unleashed upon oursleves? I will do everything in my power to do that."- 1062 replies

"I'm sorry Ialai, You seem to have forgotten that I do not believe in such practices. There is no evidence to suggest that any supreme power answers the prayers you send up on glyphwards." Jasnah responded. Then, pausing a moment. "Actually, I will help you light them however, it will be at a very specific moment. Hopefully having some flamespren will add to the confusion and distraction of the unmade. But you will need to have others help you to write them. I've got more important things to be about." Then Jasnah turned, and headed to discuss more plans with others, while also keeping hidden from Darkness.- 1062 replies

Jasnah knew that Nalan was searching for her. But she had to speak to Navani. After a few minutes, she finally found her mother near the far end of the hall. He seemed to be directing everything that was going on. Interrupting, Jasnah whispered "Mother, Some believe that it may be necessary to be in Shadesmar in order to destroy this umade. It seems you've sent Ivory off, and we don't know when he'll be back. I can also go into shadesmar, if we deem it necessary. However, I do not know how easily I will be able to return. I may be stuck there for a long time. I would prefer not to do that" But as long as I have stormlight, I've found out that I can soulcast. I do not need one of your fabrials, but I can actually soulcast." To prove herself, Jasnah picked up a fallen spoon from off the floor. "Watch." She changed the spoon to smoke. As it began whisping away. She saw her mother gasp in astonishment. "Perhaps we can use that as a form of defense or distraction while we attempt to re-capture this unmade"- 1062 replies

"Nalan, I assure you that I am not the enemy here. Before tonight, I did not even know what gave radiants their powers. My father has been killed, and my cousin. Then my other cousin killed my sister-in-law. I wanted none of this, and I would have preferred to just stay in the monastery and study during this entire celebration." Jasnah was hoping he could calm the nerves of Nalan a little bit more. But she also began considering escapes. Perhaps in the chaos she could distract Nale long enough to slip away. Or if not, a last resort would be to slip into Shadesmar again. Unfortunately, she did not know how easily she would be able to return now that Ivory wasn't near here. And who knew how long she could be stuck there, while everyone presumed her dead. Fortunately, she saw an opportunity. Nale turned his head to as Jasnah suddenly looked past his shoulder as if someone more threatening had approached. At that moment, she quietly slipped into a passing crowd, and kept low, uncharacteristic of her stature and composure. She needed to ell Navani what she could do. Jasnah was an elsecaller of the third ideal. And it was only the first night since she'd discovered these powers. Perhaps that would help distract the unmade.- 1062 replies

Long Game 49/Anonymous Game 3: Window to the Past
Fuchsia Ostrich replied to little wilson's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Jasnah began skimming through books. Finding one that contained ancient Lore of the Knights radiant, and the heralds, she read that they could summon shardblades from their bonded spren. Jasnah had never attempted to do that. How many more oaths must she swear before that became possible. All in one night? Was it even possible to swear that many oaths in one night? "Navani!," she exclaimed! "I think I've found something! The unmade in this palace may mean that the desolation is upon us, but fortunately, It doesn't look like it's had time to spread it's influence. I believe this means that the heralds have already returned, and we may be able to stop this desolation before it truly begins if we can locate any of them within this palace" As she said, that, a shadow overtook her. Turning, she saw a man carrying a blade. This was not a normal shardblade. There was no gem at the hilt. Instinctively, Jasnah gasped, and reached out her hand, where, immediately, and miraculously a blade of her own formed. Jasnah had never fought before, and this man obviously had. So Instead, while still outside the man's range, she stuck both hands, including the blade into the air, and stepped back. "I do not wish to harm anyone! I am merely trying to find out how to stop this desolation. It is obvious that you can overpower me at any moment, so please give me a chance to help."- 1062 replies

A cold feeling passed through Jasnah. Something was wrong. Cutting off a conversation with many of the others at the feast, Jasnah abruptly turned and left the room. She had to find out anything she could about what she knew was in that black sphere. Someone must have released it. She noticed her mother, who also recognized something was wrong. "Navani," Jasnah almost shouted. "Come with me. We must stop this. I fear a desolation is upon us, and we are already too late." Jasnah turned and headed out of the room. Hopefully, Navani was in tow.- 1062 replies
