  1. what the what. Oh and there's Weasel Edit: to be fair, it's my fault for sheeping for half the game Double edit: weasel is watching the thread. He's gotta be evil since this is the one time he shows up. Good luck, gang
  2. Oh snap. I was about to make a post suggesting a switch to Weasel because they're a gem hoarder and two(?) Nights ago they PMed me with 15 minutes to go before rollover just to say hi and that felt like an elim saving their action until they'd decided who was submitting the NK /if they needed to bodyhop. I think if feel most comfortable doing Heron > Mouse > Weasel. If they bodyhop, with the amount of PMs we have, I'm confident we'll catch them. And it's a high confidence exe because they're unable to PM, and that's hard proof. So I'm not too worried about that. Interesting on Scorp. Maybe they are good, as Rhino has been suggesting. Bringing my Village to Vulture, Lion, Rhino, Dragonfly, Scorpion, Flamingo, +1. Team Evil being Heron, Mouse, Weasel,+2. The remainder pool being Beagle, Tuatara, Falcon. Beagle seems the evilest of the bunch, then it's a toss up between the last two. I actually feel really good about those groups, so wooooo let's go Heron hunting. Did Weasel or Mouse even vote that Day. I can't remember, but could be some inactivity hurting them. Beagle and Heron certainly came in to assert their favoured position at the end, as shown by the tie.
  3. Rhino definitely isn't Ash The amount of votes on Heron makes me uncomfortable. It's too easy. But I'm not going to move just because of that. It's 8v;5e now ya. Mix today for 7v;5e, NK brings 6v;5e. At that point, we must be right or lose. I'm thinking of Flamingo's proof of role doesnt happen, they'll claim RB. So that's not even a slam dunk. Lion mentioned earlier seeing Heron directing some pressure at Flamingo. At this point, I'm just assuming we're wrong about them being evil. Unfortunately, Tuatara picked a 2nd PM group of possibly all elims, as others have said. I just can't wrap my head around the fact that we may have bagged an elim D1 and I didn't believe it. Regardless of the field, I'm still feeling a Heron exe. Then I'm hoping for a hop because that's basically a guaranteed free elim kill for us at the cost of a Warform.
  4. You know what would be even more frustrating? Being evil and dying because we thought you were someone else who was also evil. To answer your question, Flamingo, it would have been more valuable to have the reassurance that you weren't going to body hop, because an elim would have reacted pretty much the way you did - except having stalled until the end of the Night, they would have hopped bodies. Elims generally have an inflated sense of how in danger they are, so let's assume for a minute that the Flamingo exe is misguided. That also explains why Opal Lion didn't die, because they were leading the village the wrong way. I'm getting bad vibes from Tuatara. I think their failure to submit extra actions is on par with Weasel's gem hoarding. Both seem sus. Is Oxblood Beagle a bloodhound joke or did they just have another word for red
  5. Have the elims bothered to use Decayform at all this game? And why would double votes be higher priority targets than Warforms for destruction? You put yourself in a position to potentially fake the double votes. Either you solo vote, and therefore waste the power, or vote in a group and all we'll know is one person in that group can double. I'm sure you can fake feeling the need to move at last minute and string us along for longer. It's a worse play than having an immediately provable Night action would be. And why we're you afraid of being a known vote doubler? Sure it could make you a slightly bigger target, but there's enough risk that you'll vote the wrong way anyway that elims don't usually target people with the role just for that. I'm not understanding your mindset and that's confusing me. I would have immediately donned the form and tried to counter the elims' vote coordination advantage Edit: @Mint Heron what's your theorized elim team right now? It's easy to pick one person to sus. Naming a whole group should be harder for the elims, so I'm curious if you can do it
  6. Probably worth mentioning your lack of action last Night. I think Falcon raises a valid concern here, who do you plan on PMing?
  7. For now, my vote's going on Flamingo. I don't know why v!they wouldn't just make a PM last night to help the team. That would've basically implicated two elims, right? Their instistance on doing something else seemed like a stalling tactic. It's weird they didn't ultimately choose to body hop, but the initial reaction screamed evil to me. Famigo
  8. This is a curious result, because it's bad for the theorized elim team. For example, everyone who voted for Hyena over Beagle looks bad now. And Malibu-em presumably didn't body hop, which would have allowed them to kill a Warform at the very least. My instinct is to say double bluff, but given how odd it is, it's worth at least wondering why they made the kill they did. Perhaps they're trying to avoid NKing Warform candidates/low activity folk and ran out of options? Edit: Lion, how'd you narrow down to Weasel or Scorpion so quick?
  9. Perhaps you could open a PM as a gesture of good faith, @Onyx Flamingo. It'd burn your Night Action, preventing you from body hopping.
  10. I wouldn't mind if they claimed Scholarform. If Beagle says they don't, at this point I just want to know who has it Also, Lion's Artform story checks out. And the rest of his stuff seems legit. I'm excited to see whether the elims forgo the strategic move of attacking a village Warformer just to get rid of him, or if they're willing to go toe to toe. Pass me some of that popcorn, Steel!
  11. There's 4-5 elims. Any guesses on a team composition? Asking because that should be a difficult exercise for the elims to do right now, given how many village trusts there are. Edit: finally got around to reading that Lion post. Malibu-em being a role Nd the implications of that is a connection I didn't make, so good job Lion. My bet would be its Flamingo, who is not Swan
  12. I was literally just about to add them to a PM so that's actually a timely reminder. I've been focusing on very evil and very good people and the middle group of random animal accounts gets jumbled sometimes. My bad
  13. Early night is cool with me. First order of business, I gotta apologize to Ivory Dragonfly. Your instincts were good, I should've listened to you. Anyway, my ongoing theory about the round was the elims tried to present Tuatara as a mix candidate. So mild sus on Mouse and Falcon. Then come rollover, it appears to have been v!Hyena vs e!Beagle and thanks to some last minute pressure, they were forced to show their hands to protect their teammate. Specifically Heron, while Beagle was the person under pressure. I'm clearing everyone who voted on Beagle: Tuatara, Lion, Dragonfly (they tried), Hyena. Rhino I'm putting down as light village because they seemed conflicted. But obviously the vote was in the wrong spot, and that's hard to ignore. But I'm not even going to consider him until Beagle and Heron are exed. And well Lion was wrong, but they got their vote to the right spot in the end so that's nice. I'll admit I was basically sheeping because they'd done more hard analysis. The only thing that might mess with this theory is if it was e-e and Beagle is Warform, because then the elims might have preferred the no kill. But anyway, we've got two good kill options for the next two Days. For tonight, does anyone have any actions to do they'd like to declare? Otherwise, it's still a good idea to make it hard to submit the NK by having everyone make a PM.
  14. I've changed my mind about possible Mateform faking because what Lion said makes sense. At this point, there's a few reasonable suspects we could vote on, but we need to pick only one for today. Hyena voting Beagle looks like a vote splitting tactic; but I'll reevaluate that guess based on whether they throw a vote on Tuatara later. I think the only people moving votes right now are villagers (besides maybe Swan, who may have gotten caught out on a distance vote they needed to retract). I accuse Hyena. I think they are suspicious because they hate cats. Beagle, Hyena. Dragonfly, are ya willing to vote on Hyena for consolidation purposes?
  15. Interesting move, not voting for Hyena, who was a more viable CW to your own death until about 25 minutes ago. I find the Tuatara wagon strange. Villagers tend to have recency bias; a bunch of people falling back on D1 reasoning, while logically sound, doesn't seem genuine to me. So I think the elims want that train to succeed over any other. Tuatara, how sticky is your vote? I think you're a villager, so you might get spooked by the pile-on I think is coming. But we need to consolidate the vote, so having reevaluated the WGG likelihood (Mouse, despite having a bad vote this round, made a good point), and having a dislike of Beagle's reaction to my Scholarform questions, I'm moving my vote there. I still get bad vibes from Hyena. They leaned heavily into rules analysis there and other irrelevant trains of thought; Mateform is an easy Gem for the elims to fake having because they can claim a fellow elim is the partner. But if Hyena looks set to die, they probably don't want to do that because it gives us a free elim after. Looking at it, I actually feel more confident about Hyena, but we all know I'm just gonna switch to make the most viable train anyway. I assume Rhino will do the same, so Lion, Dragonfly, you two are our kingmakers at this point. Rhino Beagle
  16. Mateform: can't vote on partner Warform: vote daily Artform: 100 words RP Scholarform: 150 word posts Nimbleform: no gemstone hoarding Workform: can't solo vote Mediationform: must accuse vote target Evil gems Stormform: must vote daily Smokeform: can't make PMs Decayform: must take an action every night Scholarform is the only gem that needs you to meet a word limit besides the fairly useless (no offence) Artform. I doubt it's a gem someone who acquired it would be inclined to lose by failing to meet the requirements. I assumed any villager who got it would immediately use it, likely to make Warform because that's rare and valuable. That didn't happen. But you could have made that assumption too and realized you didn't need to focus on that requirement after D2. I think an elim got the Scholarform gem. Since I got the other one, they refrained from using it until after I had, so I wouldn't see what they made. Presumably they'll use it today and do something like make Decayform, which at this point I suspect may not have been in the initial elim supply. That last bit is conjuncture, but the point is, Scholarform seems to have been grabbed by an elim, so I'd like a denial or counter-theory why a villager wouldn't have used it
  17. One can infer this by their continuing to make big posts every day, but I know they didn't use it D2 as I did. So they're essentially sitting on it now. The gem is pretty useless; I expected them to create something with it. Are they waiting because they didn't want me to see what they researched *cough evil gem*? Are they just trying to keep it out of the village supply? Are they Maverick-IM? (Jk, that's Araris)
