  1. "I know she intends to attend, but well, in light of her recent announcment, i am somewhat doubtful that amends are possible." And what a storming disapointment that was. He had tried to get Jasnah to see what a wonderful match Meridas would be, but she showed absolutely no interest. Extreme dislike even. "She's likely biding her time to make an entrance. Perhaps check the surrounding rooms for her? Or maybe ask Navani."
  2. Truly, the man did seem hurt, but tonight was not a night that I could afford to have fail. I wanted Meridas and Torol to be on their guard against sabitage, not distracted by my Wit. The man did leave though, perhaps genuinely abashed. "There we go," I murmmered to Torol, "hopefully Wit doesn't offend anyone enough to get killed."
  3. When I had been convinced ro hire the man as my Wit, he had seemed far better at judging a mood. And at judging a person. Now he seemed rather base and drunk. "At least temporarily, for an hour or two until fewer people are sober. The people need to become comfortable with the feast before they are insulted. So if you cannot hold your tongue for a few hours @SE_Wit, please leave."
  4. "Navani dear, I believe our court Jester is insulting us, rather than the other nobles. It might be prudent to search for a new one. I believe this one will be killed in a duel soon."
  5. I am not convinced this feast will work. Too many agendas and schemes. Far too many diplomats and groups represented. Such a celebration of Unity and Peace will be easily marred by secrets and people attempting to advance their own agenda, rather than to celebrate and bring the Parshendi further into Alethi Culture. I need to set a precedent. I flash the sign of need to an eager master servant, and he scuttles to my side as quickly as is appropriate. “I need a glass of Orange wine.” He bows and returns to the bar. I scan the crowd, looking for my Brother and Son. Neither of them are here at the back wall with me, where I expected them to be. Neither is my dear wife Navani. Hopefully they are celebrating. The servant returns, proffering a glass. “Very good. I commend you for your speed.” I stand and raise the glass. All over the feast hall, watchful eyes glance my way. When they see I mean to speak, they nudge the less watchful eyes and gesture my way. I smile. A rare sight on a King, but an important one to allow the people to see. “Welcome friends! It pleases me that so many of you could make it tonight. Representatives or cultures from all of Roshar, and especially the newly discovered Parshendi Culture.” I raise my glass to Lord Klade. Not a brightlord in the Alethi sense, but close enough to a Highprince of his people. “I know better than most the opportunities that are allowed tonight, the alliances and trades that can be made. But as the King of Alethkar, I ask that you try to enjoy yourself tonight. Let loose, and talk of simple things. Leave work for tomorrow. Tonight, I ask you to Celebrate! Lord @SE_Klade, have your Drummers begin their song.” I raise the Orange Wine to my lips and drink deeply. Some people cheer, some laugh. The Drums begin, and I sit back down. I need to talk to Klade in person tonight, to make sure his people’s needs have been seen to. But first I must hold my little court, and greet all who have come to talk to me.
  6. Another convenient hemalurgic spike? I really wish you could offer some proof for these claims, but all you've offered so far is a story that isn't really backed up by the actions of the people involved, knowledge mysteriously available to you because of secret rules, and the lynch of someone who was all but confirmed refugee. Ok, so not entirely dismissing the concept of secret rules, since everything about the game is secret, but this claim of yours does go against the claim you made just last cycle about the EIB scan being a one time thing. But, if you've decided I'm going to die, then I'm going to die, and there isn't anything I can do to stop it, since you've got all the power now.
  7. I don't think it really matters who we vote for. Mauve, Azure, and Cream have us stitched up, however they want us.
  8. Scorpion has a point about the wincon. He did come out with it in the thread, where Weasel italicised a word, and is only now claiming that it meant he understood what Albatross was trying to say. That does suggest to me that Scorpion knew what he was talking about, and is likely a refugee. Weasel's response at the time could have meant anything. So, Azure Mouse, Indigo Weasel.
  9. What a great cycle. We're less than 6 hours in and already everyone is really confused
  10. He's gone back to the Albatross lynch in C1 to try to convince us he is innocent.
  11. Well, that clears up the vote manipulation. The game wouldn't be over if you were all elims, and were looking for the final informant. Well, it would, as in there would be nothing we could do to stop you, but you wouldn't have won yet. Honestly though, I'm no longer sure what's going on. I was willing to trust you last cycle, only for more innocents to die. Mouse was sure there were three elims, but has changed that to one. I do think though, that you nor Mouse would be acting the way you are if you were elims, so either we give up now, or continue to trust you and hope you get it right. Still thinking though, so not moving my vote just yet.
  12. Genuinely, are you being serious here? This looks like you are still playing, still trying to find an elim, so am I wrong about you three being the elim team and trolling us last cycle? If so, why the vote for Swan? That really made no sense.
  13. All it proves is that the one person who thought it was a bad idea to trust you guys ended up dead, and then you went and lynched someone who had all but admitted to being a refugee. The way they jumped onto Falcon's mistake about wincons, there wasn't anything else Swan could be. Azure Mouse. I know it's pointless, but may as well play the game, right?
  14. Is this some kind of joke? We trusted you, and not only did you lead us in a lynch against an innocent, but you silence your most vocal critic? I'm gutted I fell for it. Congratulations on your win guys.
  15. You might actually be safe, as it seems the vote has tipped toward Swan. It also depends on what kind of vote manipulation is out there.
  16. You say that as if the game is going to be over after this...
  17. I hope this attempt at tagging works, because I really want to hear more from Azure and Mauve, who have both been unusually quiet this cycle (especially Azure). @Mauve Crocodile @Azure Mouse EDIT: Apparently not. This mobile browser is the worst.
  18. Alright, we're less than two hours from the end of cycle and neither Azure nor Mauve have placed votes. This causes me a bit ofnconcern, because that leaves the vote very open to elim manipulation if their claim is true. If they've lied about the claim and are really the elim team, they could feel comfortable with not voting, believing we'll kill ourselves in the confusion. Either way, I want to hear from them soon.
  19. Okay, based on the statements made during the Falcon lynch, I'm switching my vote off Swan and back onto Scorpion. Both Dingo and Swan were very vocally against lynching Falcon. While this could have been an elim ploy to distance themselves from a village lynch, it can't be ignored entirely.
  20. Vote count: Coral Swan (3) - Amber Vulture, Cream Tuatara's, Indigo Weasel Azure Mouse (1) - Melon Dingo EDIT: Fixed the vote count. Fifth's was right.
  21. Okay, I've been fairly certain that Mouse has been village for a while. I also believe Tuatara's may have been set up by the elim team with the vote manipulation this last vote. I haven't had much of an opinion on Croc, but because of my trust in the other two, I'll believe they're village. I am, however, hesitant to vote on Swan, because until this last cycle, I've felt they're pretty village. I'm going to try to review Dingo and Scorpions posts. However, I'm at work, so that might take a minute.
  22. Unless you're pocketing me... Seriously, it's always this point in a game where I get overly paranoid and suspicious of everything. But Weasel, you're right. The fact Scorpion and Dingo are refusing to see the possibility of a positive outcome to the claim makes me very suspicious. Maybe it would be better to lynch one of them instead of Coral. EDIT: That was the wrong way to phrase it. Dingo has pointed out it could be good, but they're not willing to trust it. The same seems to be for Scorpion.
  23. This post is setting off my Spidey senses again... It feels like an IKYK trap. But I'll stick with Coral for now. Hopefully they respond soon.
  24. I'm getting increasingly suspicious of those refusing to put a little trust in the claim. Yes, I may be trusting it too easily, but I see it as a good chance to actually win. Because if we lynch one, one is killed by eliminators, that's two confirmed villagers out if the way. In an effort to see if their claim is real, Scorpion and Coral Swan. I've been a bit suspicious of them since after the Falcon lynch. Their reaction seemed a bit overly dramatic, and since then they've remained more quiet than they've been in past cycles.
