Quick Fix Game 36/Anonymous Game 5: Dream Thieves
Emerald Falcon replied to Steeldancer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
The new body has 10 fingers, 10 toes, and generally functioning organs, which is a good start. A little short on items, but that can't be helped. Maybe it isn't horrible. A sparrow flies past as I look around - this body reminds me of someone - I look up and down at myself, from my wide-brimmed hat down to my mud-encrusted boots, until I figure it out - they have exactly the same profession and item that one of my old feathered friends had. I give a little chuckle, and then get on with the mission. -
Cream Tautara. Vengeance is a dish best served cold! (but with a healthy serving of vegetables, fruits, and vitamins).

Wow, I really need to pay closer attention near the ends of the lynches, clearly that's when everything interesting happens!

Cream Tuatara. The lizard alliance must be crushed, the only true place of lizards is to be eaten by the glorious avian army. Avian armada? These are troubling questions. I will ponder these deeply.

I'm a little lost, but my sources tell me that you tried to kill me, Axolotl. I don't appreciate the effort...

I suppose Axolotl, Crocodile . On that note, what is an axolotl precisely? I think this a key point of discussion missing from our justifications. Clearly the pretentions of such a name clearly deserve lynching over such a simple name like crocodile.

I'd be interested in voting for Violet, it could get some information. I'm curious about the lack of response on the part of two actions. Edit: Just to be clear, voting for Violet Axolotl

@Coral Swan @Onyx Flamingo The quote in my post indicated to me that you are in a non-aligned faction with either of those that have had players killed. That was the sole basis of my logic.

Considering that their are no elims in this game there is no bipartisan logic with which to determine how to use the lynch. It could be used to kill certain public enemies or weaken dominant factions. Given that none of these options have yet presented themselves (and I've seen no evidence to narrow down someone with a kill action), it makes the most sense to kill someone who is not among the already weakened factions. This maintains a relative equality of power and minimizes the risk of shards being randomly sent to other factions and giving them a relative increase in power. If anyone else suggests another course of determining the lynch I am certainly interested, yet I have seen no compeling arguments for any other method or target (for this day). Given that framework, I'm fine with either Indigio Weasel or Coral Swan. Pretty clearly non-aligned with either faction (of course it could be strategic, in order to indicate that they're not aligned, but my gut leads me toward thinking the comment was an honest one). This indicates that Indigio Weasel is among neither faction either. At least using this framework has the potential to generate interesting faction claims!

Hello Amber Vulture! I'm glad as an avian ally you decided against such a warm-blooded action. I'm afraid that I can offer no particular insight at the moment other than noting I am indeed present. Perhaps after catching up in more detail on the days events I will be willing to post some analysis.

Long Game 49/Anonymous Game 3: Window to the Past
Emerald Falcon replied to little wilson's topic in Sanderson Elimination
You mean that GMs aren’t incredibly ancient and powerful beings with powers far outreaching any of our own, with machinations extending far beyond what our mortal minds can even comprehend? But, yeah, I think I misinterpreted the question. I’ll find the list of Kholins for you in a few hours, Jasnah.- 1062 replies

Long Game 49/Anonymous Game 3: Window to the Past

This is more a collection of general thoughts than an in-depth analysis, but it covers most everything. Welcome back, Tearim and Liss. I hope that you gained some valuable information outside of the palace, because it looks like we’re going to need it. It also looks like I’m not going to be able to fulfill my wincon if we want to win this turn. But if you don’t have an action, I will do my best to use it properly, so feel free to assist. So: the Desolation is coming. It will come at the end of this turn - Adolin knew that it would, somehow, which means that there is a channel of information that he used to get that information. If anyone else would like to divulge what that information is, then I’d like that to be shared, privately if not publicly. I’m pretty sure people have agreed I’m trustworthy, and I lack wincons that put me on any particular side, so I’m happy to be an intermediary. If not me, then we should definitely elect one. The question remains, however, whether the Desolation is being summoned by a person or is being caused by something outside of our control. In either case, we should start with what we know. What items do we know to be important to the Desolation? The Black Sphere would be a good starting point. In addition, everyone should share their actions for the past few (many?) turns. Again, if not on the thread then with an intermediary. If we can build up a timeline, we can determine the movements of items and possible candidates for killing people. I believe that Tanavast is referred to using male pronouns. Whether a shard is considered animate is up for debate. Happy birthday, Odium! Hope your celebrations don’t destroy the world too much.- 1062 replies

Saying that, of course, simply makes us all more suspicious and more likely to ostracise/attack you. How about you send me a PM about what you’re planning and your reasoning for it and I’ll let everyone know if there’s anything to be worried about?- 1062 replies

If we’re doing all our items, I also have a Shalash Statue, some violet wine, two grey cloaks, some forged letters, and loaded dice from Liss. This is in addition to the soulcaster. Most of them give bonuses to actions, and are consumables. I’ve also got 4 broams.- 1062 replies

Navani would have had the Broken Soulcaster, although I also got one from Tearim so it’s not a unique item. Adolin had several Violet Wines, although he might have been destroying them when he got them as part of his wincon. Beyond that, anyone with a high number of spheres, as Wit suggested. I have four currently. On that note, if anyone is passed these items without knowing why, it’s probably someone trying to dump these items, and we should go through and verify what actions each person took that round.- 1062 replies

Right you are, Wit. That’s also correct, Ivory. So Ash is ruled out for now - although we may want to keep verifying that she hasn’t been online in case she jumps on at some point. Unfortunately, that leaves 6 people who I all trust and all have pretty good alibis. The fact that I suspect Wit and Klade the most mainly comes down to the fact that those are the people that I have had the least interaction with, and thus the least opportunities to clear them. So I really don’t know what to do. Ouch, Jasnah.- 1062 replies

Analysis time! Me and Ivory worked together to Action Spy on Klade. We’ve mutually confirmed that we were both involved. However, we weren’t able to find Klade, which I presume means that they hid that round (which makes sense). As a result, I’m clearing Ivory and Klade. Beggar and Kelek said that they worked together, although I’m not sure on what. Would you be able to share that information? I also asked Jasnah to protect Adolin, but I’m not sure if that went through. Ultimately, the people I am most unsure about are @SE_Ash and Wit, mainly because they are the only person that I don’t have confirmed alibis for. If someone could list an action that they led, or are confirmed to have cooperated in an action, then that would go a long way to clearing them. (@SE_Wit)- 1062 replies

Jasnah, you are the last. I will edit in some analysis later when I’m free, but if anyone else has action scan results or successfully roleblocked someone, that could narrow down the search.- 1062 replies

I can confirm that Drunk Beggar does indeed have his Honorblade. I’m not sure if he’s been using it. How do we know Klade didn’t kill Navani? Are we just assuming he made an action spy?- 1062 replies

There may have been a miscommunication between us, then, as I definitely sent you the required information. The fact that I never got back to you is an oversight, and my fault, but I definitely didn’t expect you to pull out without telling me. (The fact that I never ended up submitting the action is neither here nor there.) You raise some valid points, but attacking shouldn’t be our default option here. We need analysis and thought, not one-man hit squads roaming the palace. If we suspect Klade, we should action spy on him, or roleblock him. (Question - do roleblocked actions show up in an action spy?) It’s a similar thing to what you tried with your Dalinar plan. Killing does more harm and good, and we should confirm our suspicions before acting on them. As you yourself stated earlier, we should not accelerate the death rate.- 1062 replies
