  1. Tom looked at the AJ. The impostor. “Calamity…” he whispered. “You have betrayed me again.” He turned his head and shouted to the air. “You can come out now, Ralvon. I know you’re there.” The air flickered. Fantastic appeared, cocky smile on his face. He raised his eyebrow. “Hello, Tom. Fancy seeing you here.” Tom looked at him and shuddered. His eyes went dark. Then he shook his head again, eyes returning to normal. “No,” he muttered under his breath. “I must resist!”
  2. Xino shook his head. “No, I like the multiple universe idea better. We can use him.” He gestured towards Fantastic.
  3. Xino shook his head. "But what if it was a different epic?" A gleam came into his eyes. "One that already exists?"
  4. Xino stroked his chin. "Yes, perhaps. But whom? Who would bring him over?"
  5. Xino tapped his foot impatiently. "I do need to know soon, or I'll implement my own solution."
  6. Narrator Xino snorted. "You said it wasn't real. But it was."
  7. Narrator Xino laughed cheerfully, but he seemed distracted. "Thank you. I try." He turned serious. "But I find it hard when my stuff gets overwritten. Are you going to let me fix that, or not?" Make sure you don't leave me out! What time is he going to be available?
  8. Xino frowned. "Are you going to keep writing over me? Because I don't like that." He started to pace back and forth, agitated. "I want to be a part of everything. I... I have to. I have to." He seemed to be getting agitated.
  9. I don't know if this should necessarily exist like this. I think it would be better if, instead, a Ritual spell was tied to it somehow. It wouldn't be written in the spiritweb: it would be written in Ritual magic. I think that you could form a sort of alchemy by mixing different Natural magics and seeing what happens. Well, it's supposed to be caused by an Elder God yanking on the strings of Ritual magic. It causes Ritual magic to repel Natural. If a bunch of Ritual users were using their magic in an area, it would start exhibiting some of those weird effects, although probably not destruction.
  10. Xino grunted, perplexed. "They're outside of AJ's suburban house, of course. Tom took them there with a Portal Key." Are you doing something between you you aren't telling me about?
  11. What about if a ley line got interfered with somehow, and started "bunching up" on itself in a location?
  12. Pockets of Natural magic, I mean. Not belief per se, but power affected by belief. How had we decided on doing enchantments? Weren't they just taking aspects of one thing and putting it somewhere else?
  13. Xino exploded with rage. Literally. "It was real!" he screamed. "What are you doing?!!" He sighed, exasperated. "He actually took you there! He can't take you somewhere that's not real!" He growled, and snapped his fingers. Seriously, though. They weren't in the cell anymore. ------ Tom Joebob watched in confusion. This couldn't be AJ. He'd killed AJ, erased his memories, and had him reborn. Time passed slower in Fantastic's prison. Star had lost more than thirty years while she had been locked in there, but of course she didn't know that. This was an impostor. And if Tom wasn't careful, he would steal her away. What for, he didn't know, but he doubted he would see her again. He stood up and hissed. "Go away, impostor. I see your lies for what they are."
  14. I don't think it would be reversible. Godhood is more of a switch; once you've achieved it, even if you lose power you're still going to be a spirit. You lose your physical form when you ascend. What do you think would occur if there were pockets of extra-strong belief lying around?
  15. Oh, of course. I was thinking that Ritual magic might be gathering in places (sort of) and leaving places in the city for Natural magic to pool. The result would be areas where even a slight amount of belief could cause something to suddenly pop into existence.
  16. AJ is confused. His love was right here, with him, at his table. He ignored it, and went on with his dinner. "No," said Tom, begging. "NO! It is real! Be yourself, Tamika!"
  17. “It’s not a vision, Tamika.” Tom looked at her, earnest. “It’s real, I told you. I’m sorry. I…” He jerked once, and his eyes clouded with darkness. Then the moment passed. He bent over on his knees and sobbed. “Please, Tamika,” he whispered through the tears. “I know you’re in there somewhere.” Is she holding Thought right now?
  18. Tom looked into her eyes. “You complete me, Tamika. You make me a better person. And I, you. Or at least, I did.”
  19. Tom felt her. Tamika. She was there. All he needed was a little more power... Xino? he begged.
  20. Tom melted into the kiss. Something in the back of his mind warned him, but he didn't care. He had her.
  21. Fantastic had died, and had been there. But he'd vanished away from it. He'd appeared behind Star, before Bozo got there. He vanished Bozo as soon as he appeared, fixed the hole in the void, then vanished himself back.
  22. Except Fantastic had vanished, so he couldn't. Tom only sobbed on the ground. "Why? Why couldn't you accept me, as you did before? Why..."
  23. Fantastic looked at Lunamor, and shrugged. Then he pointed at himself, and vanished.
  24. Tom lay still. "I loved you, once. You took that, and you threw it away. To be with him." He jerked his thumb towards the house. "Even after all I did for you. I took your Shard, and rescued it. I restored your memories, or tried to." Grief covered his face. "They were altered. They made you hate me. You... you punished me, made me drink what I swore I would never drink again. You used the Key to make it permanent. And now... And now..." He stopped, unable to continue.
