  1. You can't misspell it if it's a word you just made up. One gras at a time.
  2. I put down 12 for strength, 12 for dexterity, 13 for constitution, 16 for intelligence, 14 for wisdom, and 11 for charisma, said Silence. @Channelknight Fadran
  3. James blinked. "All protective magics are bound? You want me to strip myself of my defenses?"
  4. The shadow lifts James into the air above the warping surface. He sighs. "Must you?"
  5. Well, except to anyone who happened to get in the way.
  6. Average, says Silence, sounding almost as if he regrets letting Fadran roll for him. Oh, well. So... what are we supposed to do with these numbers? @Channelknight Fadran
  7. Perhaps that would be best, agreed Silence, handing him the cup.
  8. I would like an explanation as well, says Silence. Human Paladin, says Silence definitively. A cup with four six-sided dice appeared in Silence's hand. He tipped it sideways, letting the dice spill out onto the table. All sixes. He rolled them again. And again. Each time, 24 pips. Will this be a problem? he asked.
  9. An arm rises up from James's shadow, catching Mita's blade mid-air. James glances at it, intrigued but not surprised. "I would not call it foolishness," he said quietly. @Nathrangking Decrin frowned. "I thought you said that we would not be able to fight her directly?"
  10. "I can see that you do not believe," said James. "But I do. If Fate wills me here, then here is where I will stay. This I know."
  11. Yes, said Silence with confidence. Whatever that is. He sat down, a chair materializing for him as he did so.
  12. A swirling breeze blew under the bottom of the door, carrying with it a few crushed leaves from the autumn landscape outside. There was a rap of silence on the hardened wood, and the door swung open. Hello? asked Narrator Master of Silence. Is anybody here yet?
  13. James shook his head. "I have met the one you call Fate- Kishmethis is his name, yes? He came to our lands to warn us of the monsters that had escaped. He may be called a god, but he is not the one whom I follow." He shrugged. "Perhaps I was sent here as a warning to you. Nonetheless, I feel my task is more involved than that." He glanced at Vapor. "I suppose I will soon see."
  14. "I just told you," said James tiredly. "I have no idea. All I know is that Fate has placed me here to complete a task, and I likely will be unable to return home until I do so."
