    "It's my lab, I would hope so." "All right," said Ashley, "I'll give you a quick rundown." She knelt down to draw a crude representation in the sand. She drew three rectangles, one representing each floor. Besides them, she noted which one they were- sub-basement, basement, ground floor. Each floor had a hallway that ran all the way around. "The beast appeared here," she said, indicating a spot near the center of the ground floor. "That's the main lab; most of it was completely destroyed. For all I know, it may still be there." She indicated some spots with little x's. "These are where the elevators and stairwells are, if you find yourself wanting to explore the lower levels."

    Jeffery lifted the gemstone. "These are her memories," he said. "How easy it will be to return them depends on how long Rish gets with her."

    Jeffery exhaled. "Sorry. I'm just a little... tense." Jeffery nodded. "If Nath won't tell us what he knows, we may have to look for alternative sources of information." He shot a brief, surreptitious glance at Decrin. "Even dangerous ones." "Hm," said Jeffery thoughtfully. "That might work. It does seem likely that Rish would try to mask her location, however." "We're breaking someone out of an impenetrable prison," said Decrin.

    "It depends," says Decrin. "That's part of the challenge." Jeffery shook his head. "Maybe, but... he doesn't know everything. There are ways to defeat even the gods. But he refused to even accept the possibility that he was wrong!"

    Jeffery let out a bark of laughter. "He claims it's impossible. Refused to even listen to me." "You fool it into thinking you're supposed to be inside," said Decrin.

    "Yes. Maybe. But we would have needed Nath's help, and he refused." "Yes. That's a large part of the issue, finding her." He spread his hands out to lean on the table. "She's in Rishmaveta's dreamscape, we know that. What we don't know is where the dreamscape itself is."

    Jeffery pushes the door open and storms into the dining area. "I've just received news," he declares. "Rishmaveta has removed Vapor's memories." He stares directly at Nathrangking.
