    Ashley examines the strange substance. "Bright colors," she said. "Combined with its other observed effect, it would seem that this dyrling's nature has something to do with color."

    The bomb explodes. Splashes of vibrant blue and green splatter outwards. A few drops land on the party, but don't seem to have any effect.

    "We have to get there first," said Ashley as they approached the entrance to the lab. A swarm of blue insects huddled by the doorframe, and a chirping slowly began as the group approached.

    Jeffery interjected. "How long is all this going to take?"

    Ashley's shook her head. "The lab was attacked by a dyrling. I don't know what it is, or why it's here, or how it functions. The psychedelic insects weren't there the last time I was here, so presumably it created them."

    Rien glanced at the papers, whistling softly. "Merciful Domi... he let you just walk out with these?" Rien glanced up, eyes widening. "You mean... you can get us an army?"

    Rien hopped inside and dropped to the floor, resting on his spear.

    Ashley follows. "There are weapon caches hidden throughout the base," she explains. "The closest one is just outside the lab."

    "Ah- sorry," said Rien. "Anyways. What took you so long? We were expecting you back weeks ago." @Condensation

    "Hey!" called a familiar voice from further inside the camp. "Herate's back!" A youthful solider with unruly blond hair strode up in a series of bounding steps, a wide grin on his face. "We were beginning to get worried!" he added, seeming completely oblivious to the moment happening between Herate and Daolan. "You've been gone forever." @Condensation
