Inside, Silver panicked. A crying child. What was he to do with a crying child? -
"Oh!" exclaimed Silver, suddenly noticing Gone. "Uh... hi!"

"A god would be a delicious meal," pondered Obsidian.

Obsidian frowned. "It should not be possible. Are you a god?"

"But I do not have a death state," rebutted Obsidian. "I will always persist."

The guard waited for all three to exit their rooms, then began to lead them back down the stairs.

"If I ate you, you would be me," Obsidian said confidently. "And I can not be killed." Silver yelped as the glowing figure appeared in midair. "What the-" @Nathrangking

Silver took a step back, watching the conversation without saying a word.

Silver broke off the gaze first, glancing away. "Uh. Should I get it?"

Silver's eyes widened even further as he saw the second drawing. "Wow," he said in a hushed tone, running a finger over the drawing of the knight. "Even the spear..." He looked up. "You... know a lot of things, don't you?"

Silver's eyes widened as he saw the drawing. He reached down to his side and pulled out the blade that Tacien had drawn, glancing back and forth between the picture and the reality.

Silver shifted uncomfortably, his gaze flicking back and forth between the stares.

Silver froze, meeting the boy's gaze. "Um. Hi."

"Dang," muttered Silver, looking over the illustration. "Wish I could draw like that."

"I knew someone like that once," said Silver absently. "Draw, huh?"

"Knows things?" Silver's eyes widened. "Like...anything?"

Silver frowned thoughtfully. "Special? In what way?"

Silver's eyes widened. "Kidnapped?"

Silver remained quiet for another few moments. Say something, you idiot. "So," he said. "What was that place? On the other side of the door? With all the snow and ice?"

Silver remained quiet for another awkward moment. "I'm sorry," he said at last. "If, um. If I'm bothering you."

"Oh. Um." Silver scuffed his foot slightly. "It's nothing, really, I... just didn't want to be alone."

Silver stepped into the room, his movements hesitant and slightly awkward. He pulled the door shut as he entered. "Um. Thanks."

Silver hesitated. "Are you sure?" he asked hesitantly, taking half a step forwards almost instinctively.
