  1. 2 words... Cognitive Shadow
  2. @Jofwu Thanks for the clarification! Based on context it could mean stance seeing as it's a sword stance scroll and it's the "Title" of the scroll
  3. I've been staring at the sword stance glyph page for way too long and with the Calligraphic Glyphs it's almost impossible to decipher. In the "Title" glyphs, more specifically the second one, I could easily see a "Z", "V" and a "D" something that could be an "M" "N" "H" "T" "L" or some other random thing, something that might be an "A" (Every glyph with a dot of some kind has had an A in it). I honestly can't tell if there are any other letters (Such as a B crammed in there or if it's just some rando F U lines. Looking at some more of the Glyphs you can recognize some of the phonemes, but obviously not all of them seeing as the Calligraphic can seriously screw with you. The closest translation I got would be Vadzt though I really don't know with the placement of phonemes and the Calligraphic Phonemes Also, does anyone know how glyphs are meant to be read? We know that you write the Glyphs out and the just mirror it, but is it read top to bottom? Right to left? And what about lines that run throughout the glyph? I'm gonna keep trying to translate some of these. This is the glyph I'm talking about:
  4. Also with Shallan she might have been using a resonance in Thaylen Fields because her Lightweavings has mass and physical form. Windrunners: Kaladin's wind manipulation wasn't a resonance it was using Adhhesion. We have several WoB's that say that Windrunners can use Adhesion to create air pockets and possibly vacuums. (Side note: This can be used to travel into space, and Brandon has had Peter calculate the distances to the different moons )
  5. Unknown as yet, but likely to refer to a climatic event. Prediction that someone will be allowed to live and therefore Odium will win a victory. Possibly connected to 17. I believe that this is referencing Jasnah and Renarin due to the fact that Renarin is helpless (Stuck in vision and with a Shardblade at his neck) has a corrupted spren (Which will probably cause some conflict later in the series) Also with someone being allowed to live *cough* Renarin *cough*
  6. I actually really like this idea. Kaladin is very protective and takes duty seriously. Kaladin is the one taking Gavinor back to Urithiru, and Kaladin probably feels guilty about the death of Elhokar and I could see him getting attached. Side note I think it would be really funny if Bridge 4 raised him XD. Skar/Drehy have been taking care of him, and it would be awesome to see Bridge 4 "adopt" Gavinor. I feel like rock would mom him, Kaladin would dad him, and everyone would take care of him and try to impress him, and The Lopen would stick him to the ceiling for lols, but everyone else would flip out.
  7. The thing is that Hoid has been running around collecting investiture. He has enough Breath to be at least the 2nd Heightening, he is a Lerasium Mistborn, he has some form of Yolen Lightweaving, he has some regenerative power, and he just recently obtained a Cryptic. By no means is he just a regular human, but compared to the power a shard has Hoid is small. Another thing on him fighting anyone is that Hoid seemingly can't be injured or even touched by even things like Shardblades as shown by his encounter with Jasnah. He also seemingly can't hurt anyone else, saying that
  8. Something that I think would be REALLY cool (And this isn't my idea), but what if Kaladin replaced Amaram as Higprince??? It makes sense seeing as Kaladin basically killed him (Except for Rock's finishing blow) and it's where his parents/bro are, and he's super important and trusted by Dalinar/Jasnah
  9. This is almost GUARANTEED to be the Fused. We know that the Fused are Cognitive Shadows "stapled" into a body. The ENTIRE POINT of the Heralds being on Braize/The Oathpact was to trap the Fused there so that they couldn't return to Roshar and start a new Desolation.
  10. The thing is in one of the letters in OB (Presumably written by Bavadin A.K.A. Autonomy) TO HOID says this...
  11. Worldhopper from Roshar
  12. Yeah I agree with Cultivation being a sneaky little bugger. I can just imagine Rayse just sitting with his head in his hands... "Cultivation y tho??? He's suppooooooosed to be MY puppet"
  13. ONE WORD: DAWNSHARDS
  14. SO! I love Venli in OB, and her dynamic with Timbre. I also personally identify with the order of Willshapers (as seen by my profile picture) and can't wait till Book 4 A.K.A. Willshaper Extravaganza!! I have made this thread to talk about this amazing character, and to appreciate Willshaperness in general I'll start... The part when Venli is talking to Timbre about the Voidspren "YOU TOOK A VOIDSPREN HOSTAGE!?!?!" *Timbre smiles innocently while holding scumbag Voidspren at gunpoint*
  15. One thing that I think everyone overlooking with MrT is that The Diagram predicted Dalinar's downfall. As did Odium. As did Renarin. MrT has just realized "Oh rust The Diagram can be wrong, maybe I shouldn't side with Odium".
  16. So there has been quite a bit of speculation on this and Brandon has continually RAFO'ed everything involved with it. Now the word "Ascension" is the process of at least becoming a Sliver. Rashek (The Lord Ruler) "Ascended" when he touched the power in the Well (Preservation) becoming a Sliver of Preservation. I highly doubt that Dalinar is a shard as of yet because we've seen what Sazed did when he picked up Ruin/Preservation. He literally terraformed Scadrial with ease, and Dalinar is exhausted from summoning a Perpendicularity. Conclusion: Dalinar is a Sliver, not a Shard.
  17. That would explain all of the "natural" formations like Kholinars windblades. The cities were built around rock formations, and are ALL STORMING SYMETRICAL
  18. Something really weird is that there is supposedly a plague in the Pure Lake that gets reported after the Battle of Narak, which is when the Unmade show back up. Is this the Black Fisher? The environment fits, as well as the Purelakers "Fake Worship" towards a "God".
  19. I really want to see a powerful Willshaper work kind of like a mix between a Waterbender and Earthbender from Avatar: The Last Airbender. I can just imagine someone kind of surfing around on a wave of liquid rock, or making giant rock spikes explode out of the ground and into a Thunderclast, or spraying someone with rock and freezing them in place.
  20. I believe that Willshapers will use Transportation in the PR instead of into the CR like Elsecallers. I have some proof on why Willshapers will teleport in the Physical Realm. Oathgates are powered by 2 spren, one is an Inkspren, so the other is probably a Willshaper spren (The 2 Transportation Spren). Elsecallers can Transport into Shadesmar, which is one aspect of the Oathgates, the other is transporting across the world. Because of this I think the Willshapers will Transport around the PR. Here are some WoB's that support my theory
  21. Ah Ha! Ok, so Mr. Stormfather = a dum dum So we know what Cohesion does I have some proof on why Willshapers will teleport in the Physical Realm. Now what will their Resonance do?? Here are some WoB's that support my theory
  22. SO! This has 100% been seen before, and 99% sure it's been discussed, HOWEVER! Aon Ashe means Light/Illumination Ash is a nickname for the Herald of the Lightweavers, who use light/illumination COINCIDENCE!?! I THINK NOT! Ash also talks about Jezrien being her father? Are they from Sel? Taln is talked about as a person who shouldn't have been a Herald, so are they all Elantrians/Selish except him? I know people from Sel have lighter skin/bigger eyes than Rosharans, but still Thoughts?
  23. XD Thank you fellow Willshaper for that clarification. I simply had no idea...
  24. I personally believe that Willshapers use transportation to move in the physical realm (Easier than Elsecallers can). Willshapers whole adventure vibe fit with that well. As for the melting thing being Cohesion is not 100% sure. It could have been Tension, seeing as a Stoneward in a vision uses Tension to climb up a cliff. We know it was Tension because Dalinar asks if he can do that, and the Stormfather says he'll use it differently. We may have never seen cohesion, so we'll see.
