Who LOVES The Legend of Zelda!

Not in the slightest. It wakes up most people, it puts some to sleep. It does neither to me far as I can tell. TPBM eats M&M's in order from the color they like the least to the one they like the most.

Kinda, though normally I just listen to the first 10 seconds or so to see the result, then leave. TPBM prefers sweeter teas to bitter ones.

Who LOVES The Legend of Zelda!
Eluvianii replied to Ironwill2112's topic in Entertainment Discussion
So here's a thing I didn't know could happen. In my BotW rerun there's this one npc in Hateno that spawned underground first time I visited. Now, about a beast and 40 shrines later, he's still underground. Whatever went wrong when he loaded for the first time seems to be permanent. Though I guess twice is coincidence. Will have to keep an eye on him on future visits. -
2d, though 3d is great too. Also PC. E-reader or pc screen?

Ha, no school until the 30th. TPBM has ridiculously long school breaks.
-
Haven't watched it. It's in my todo list tho. TPBM has had to run for their life at some point.
-
Hmmm. That has to be either when I broke my shoulder or when I got run over by a pick-up and had trouble walking because my hip hurt. By logic alone I'd say the bone breaking was worse but that thing broke and healed without me ever noticing so it couldn't have been that bad. If you got one wish, but you knew it was a trap wish, what would you ask for? (assuming that rejecting the wish is not an option)

A few times yeah though it's been a while. TPBM is several years and dozens of pages behind in some forum games.
-
Sleeping maybe. TPBM hates it when they stay up late and start getting hungry.

Well, since we're sharing. Here's a couple electro-swing favorites of mine. At least on the covers department. I kinda like Musical Ghost.
-
YES. And that's where the command to zoom out my tabs is so that might have something to do with it. Bit annoying. Uhhhh supercalifragilisticoexpialidocious? Are you hungry right now?

Well, it's not like I hate him, he's just annoying. Being a bully is nothing worthy of such a strong word as hate, but his bully side is literally the only part of him I've been shown. So that's very little to judge a character by, but not a good start. Well, make that past tense, but first of all...

Far as I know those are the only ones. Unless you count ttrpgs in which case there's also a Mistborn one I think. As for the best one, haven't played either but I do have the original Call to Adventure so I figure it can't be that different. It's pretty simple, you're doing deck-building in three acts. The game progresses as you collect cards representing events that happened to your character, or traits that they possess. They're all one-liners like, "Street fight" or "encounter with a dark power", stuff like that. You decide the winner by a point system once three acts are over but the fun of the game is in using those traits and events you collected to tell the story of your character once the game's over. So the game doesn't have the most complex rules and if you only play to win it isn't really that fun. But as the rules are designed so each game becomes its own massive writing prompt, that adds another big layer to the game. Part of the fun for me is trying to grab the traits and events that will let me shape the character I want to make, but other players can screw you over on that, so you often end up with cards you don't know what to do with. But that usually makes the resulting story more interesting to make and tell. My sister and I also like to intertwine our character's stories. This one time I made a villain who rose to power and became a tyrant. She made the hero rising to oppose me. So yeah, it can be pretty fun if you let your creativity loose. I figure the Stormlight version is a bit of the same but set on Roshar and you can make your characters Radiants which sounds cool. Also, not sure if they kept their word on that but back when they were developing it they said both games would be compatible to an extent. So if you ever decide to get both you could theoretically throw all the cards together and double your storytelling options. Hope that helps.

Been watching Bocchi the Rock and I find it thoroughly unfair how good this show is at representing whatever the hell is wrong with me. Agonizing about going into a place because the person I came to see is not with me and I'm scared to do it alone, so I end up loitering around the entrance for 20 minutes? That's way too specific, and yet I've been there. Making a small arrangement with friends and stressing myself out thinking they might start hating me if I fail in any way shape or form even though it actually isn't a big deal? Check. Of course Bocchi does crank everything up to 11, but I still find her experiences painfully relatable. Also, really good music show. I'm always looking for more of those.

Wet leaves don't crunch and they're a disappointment to autumn. TPBM loves cereal.

Never. The mere thought of placing letters in front of each other gives me anxiety. Oh wait... TPBM knows sign language.

What are the best songs to listen to at 2 AM?
Eluvianii replied to Robin Sedai's topic in Entertainment Discussion
Anything by Bill Wurtz probably. At that hour your thoughts make no sense. Neither do his lyrics. Itoki Hana is probably a good fit too. Songs like Wish have a dream-like vibe to them. Listening to them in the dark makes you feel like you're floating on a cloud. VA-11 HALL-A's soundtrack feels tailor-made for this. City pop. Just travel to the 80s and pretend you're going out for a night in the city. Really old songs with bad recording quality. Travel even further back in time, and get emotional over a period you didn't even live through. Songs you love but haven't listened to in years. To also trigger real nostalgia. I'm writing this at 2am of course. -
That, does make more sense. He doesn't care what his current situation is, he just saw a chance to get back at her and took it. That sounds equal parts admirable and stupid. Also not accepting magic is real just yet but I really, really want to. Now, what the hell is this soundtrack? It's not normal to have this many good themes in a single game. You're supposed to have many ok ones, a few really good ones, and about 3 amazing ones, tops. This instead has many really good ones, a few amazing ones, and about 3 whatever is above amazing per episode. This has a lot of composers too, it's even more unusual in that case, games with too many composers tend to lack consistency but this is great. I think my current favorite is Melody. That might change often. So anyway, not a lot of progress since last time but I have to mention this. Oh yeah, should I be taking note of sentences in italics? I figured they're just there for emphasis but I can't help thinking they're sometimes used in places that don't need emphasis, and that they're things that I should remember instead.

Never heard of them. TPBM has fingers.
-
Worse yet, I do know the name but no one else does. So then I'm forced to explain it anyway and people look at me weird regardless. TPBM sometimes is too lazy to make hot chocolate, even if they want to drink some.
-
I collect them. Passively. Ok, maybe I should actually make a playlist out of them instead of burying them into the main music playlist but I do enjoy them. TPBM spends a while trying to find the moon whenever they go out at night.

I'm half-decent at piano, and learned just enough guitar and violin to almost be a beginner. I'll lose the right to say I know piano if I don't practice again soon though. Need a good song... Do you run on sugar?

That would be Yuki Kajiura. Though there are so many good ones I'd say she's not my favorite by too much. Second place is a war. What is your favorite book quote?
