Well there's a potential coup in the making, might be a while before that comes to fruition though. I think he resigned, he did from the Wastelands at least.

Some day I hope to once more become a Chasmfiend corpse, though currently I'll need to get nearly 20,000 downvotes.

Logic and burning anger don't tend to work well together. Particularly not when you throw hubris in too.

Increased hubris is generally a very bad trait to have when fighting an Epic, if he's really doing this in some passion filled rampage then managing to kill even one High Epic is all the more baffling.

I think it's mostly that Investiture travels as a wave that is the theoretical part of it. I think in Awakening that each Command would give a certain polarization to your Breath. In which case I guess the my breath to yours command is just like an unpolarized channel for Investiture to travel through? For evidence of this being true elsewhere in the cosmere in Elantris the Dor is mentioned as having a pulse or beat. I'll look for exact quotes when I can but there's a few I think.

So he decided to essentially commit suicide? Even fighting an ordinary Epic is risky, particularly since it would make you a huge target, taking on a High Epic is just suicidal.

I tried to remember the opening once, but then everything changed when the fire nation attacked. -

Kind of further makes the point, if they're not going to be mentioned why are they in the backstory? Is it just so the character has a reputation? Or is it just to make them seem more capable or violent? My favorite piece of advice on the subject of writing is 'is this the most interesting period of my characters life? And if not, why aren't I writing about that?' if you'd like them to have a reputation of an Epic killer why not try that in-game and see how it unfolds?

If you took all the money that was spent on americas military budget in the last decade... you would be a criminal guilty of theft. -
Sound good to you Bluefingers? Generally yeah, I have a character free in Salem if you'd like?

It begins. If you took all of your nerve endings and layed them end to end, you would die before you finished. -
I doubt you meant it that way but this could be construed as pretty offensive. Twi's just trying to make the character fit a bit better in the universe. We have exactly one regular character who's killed a High Epic before and they became a local legend because of it.

Woo! Comatose, maybe Rainmaker could insist on Cornucopia having him as a guard? Their powers would work nicely and she is a bit fragile, someone with defensive oriented powers would be pretty handy.

The alloys of Atium have various temporal effects, not necessarily making this entirely impossible but pretty unlikely that it would just switch internal and external.

If you took every lego brick ever made and stacked them on top of each other, the tower would become unstable and fall over pretty quickly. #VoidusFacts -

Code Geass is awesome! Ehem. Sorry, not sure what came over me there. (Just did another watchthrough a couple weeks ago) -
I'm not too sure on this but I was waiting for something on the Arsenal/Quicksilver front, with such a massive influence it's kind of hard to just write ahead since whatever happens next will likely be visible from most of the city.

To be fair killing 30 Epics is not necessarily that big of an achievement, Remington could stroll through the MEE headquarters and do that in an afternoon. Killing 6 separate High Epics is more my concern.

I think you're thinking of the ten foci, the essences are gasses, fire, crystal, wood, blood, metal, rock, oil, flesh.

Did you mean the former? Twi copy-pasting it? Or did you just post it so that you can move it over once the thread is unlocked?

Random Stuff VII: The Admins Awaken

Jedi mind tricks only work on the weak minded, anyone who can continue to write an RP with a world that contains a Nighthound without going insane is far from weak minded. Now this might also imply that all Reckoner RPers are either Jedi or Toydarian but that would be an off-topic discussion.
