    The humor of a game like CAH comes from breaking tabboos, for those who are more polite those tabboos are stronger and so the game is filled with even more tension and humour. Those who cuss, swear and are openly discriminatory/offensive would probably get far less out of the game because it's just more of what they already do.

    Training is important but it's not important enough to explain the kinds of losses they took against the Koloss, highly trained groups would do better, but still no where near to successfully repelling them. We've seen people kick Shardplate into obliteration, I have no doubts that a Koloss is far more effective than Kaladins legs are.

    There are a few but I should first point out that Hazekillers are specifically non-Mistings who are trained to fight metalborn.

    Hmm? Oh that, yeah I forgot that we invented a perpetual motion machine a while ago so we can just hook that up for power. Also I remembered that we have access to spikes that can compound luck, so we can just win a few lotteries to pay the bills.

    I get that alot in sci-fi, writers who look into the science behind something just enough to pass a very brief check on google but it makes some patently ridiculous scenes. For instance tachyons are a hypothetical particle that could travel faster than light, and in one sci-fi I saw there was this scene where they found a ship that could travel faster than light because it was made of tachyons. But tachyons are a completely different particle, you can't just make a ship out of them. They also apparently didn't read the part where it's impossible for tachyons to actually travel slower than the speed of light, yet they do and also if they did exist they'd have imaginary mass which would mess with things in ways I couldn't even begin to comprehend. Stop trying to use science if you don't understand science, just make something up and say they have a hyperdrive or something. (Sorry for the rant, it's just one the things that annoys me a lot in sci-fi these days)

    Started having another cluster last night, which I would usually put in the bad days thread rather than here but tonight it was about a 6 on the pain scale rather than a 10 which means the medications I've been working out with my neuro are actually working.

    Welcome to the forums! I always recommend reading Elantris as soon as possible, it's a great book but it was Brandons first so if you read it after reading some of his later books it can get a bad rap. Can I interest you in a welcome-cookie?

    Well I imagine that the Shardplate loses some Investiture by virtue of needing to resist the Shardblades usual instant-cutting, which gives less Investiture for durability.

    It falls onto the ground and lays there while the tree kicks him. I think it might be the best character arc I've ever plotted.

    I shouldn't have started organizing my Epics again, makes me want to introduce them all into the RP. I mean, who wouldn't want to see an Epic whose ability is to make it rain various types of food meet Doctor Funtimes? Or someone who can teleport his legs onto trees meeting... well actually I don't know how he'd fit in anywhere but I still want him to be somewhere?

    I am having a lot of difficulty finding out if I ever gave the momentum twins a last name, in all my notes on their powers I've only used their first names and the same in their backstory notes.

    A crazy stalker? I'm willing to bet he'd go with utterly terrified. She also has some yandere tendencies and a yandere MV is something I don't want to think about since she's probably the most powerful Epic I have in-game at the moment and her main restriction is that she doesn't use or understand her powers enough to realize how monumentally terrifying they are.
