    IPad case

I would totally love to make them for people if I had the money to buy extra iPad cases! Or if anyone's around BYU this fall and already has a paintable case lol but that's probably unlikely

This is the side that shows when using the keyboard mode so it is sideways.

(Not sure how to fix it so it's not sideways yet)
  5. Storming hello!! Welcome and listen to Sami, don't eat the cookies.
  6. That's very true haha. Especially since I'll be living in Utah for a while and Utah has a stereotype of people naming their kids crazy things (though I can't claim to know how accurate that stereotype is). I would be very likely to at least give my kids middle names of characters I like, though I suppose that all depends on how much I can convince my future husband As much as I love dumb puns, I feel so bad for people who have to live with them as names.
  7. This is great! I'm so excited he's coming to the midnight release at BYU! I have 8 am class the next day but I will definitely sacrifice one good night of sleep for this!
  8. Heck yes. That practically could have been the name for Shallan's book. Probably already said, but when you own multiple copies of Sanderson books to loan out to friends/family.
  9. Lol as much as I would want to I would probably feel like I was dooming my kid to a life of teasing if I named him Kaladin XD (Unless maybe he could just go by Kal then it might be fine :P)
  10. When you're writing a story completely unrelated to the Cosmere, and you have to keep stopping yourself from including spren in the background and making your magic realmatic
  11. Haha XD She has a brother named Brandon which I guess is kind of close, if you stretch really hard? Or maybe it was just because Spider Man's parents are already dead too?
  12. Me and my Dad wanted to name my brother Peter, unfortunately we didn't get to, Mom disagreed with that idea (I was 10 and really wanted them to name him Peter Pan Parker, probably because I was a terrible person XD)
  13. Allegiant was literally the worst book I've ever read. I really liked Divergent so that hurt my heart quite a bit. Allegiant Spoiler: (Though really if you haven't read the book you shouldn't bother anyway) I do like Harry Potter, but not as much as everyone else seems to. Other than that, the Avatar, Percy Jackson, and Eragon movies are so obvious I probably don't need to say anything. Though I didn't think the Eragon books were that great in the first place.
  14. I thought it was really good, I think I was overhyped a little bit because my family was so excited (our last name is Parker so we always get a little extra invested in Spider Man :P). MJ was really funny, Ned also made me laugh a lot. I really liked the Amazing Spider Man movies, but I do like the way a lot of things were done in this one better. Probably would have been extra great if all the cool scenes weren't already in the previews, but oh well.
  15. Welcome! Of course, someone already got to the cookie warning, haha. Hope you have a good time too!
  16. Ah, well that's a cool name! Do you know where that got confirmed? Edit: Whoops, ninja'd
  17. I really liked Well of Ascension too, though the ending was very different I enjoyed the whole book throughout. I actually liked it better as a whole probably even than HoA, mostly because I like Vin, TenSoon, and Elend's development in WoA while they mostly remained the same in HoA. My least favorite book would have to be Elantris, though I love Raoden's storyline inside Elantris, it reminds me a little of what Kaladin did with Bridge 4. I wanted to like Hrathen and Sarene, and I did end up liking Hrathen by the end, but overall I think it was too slow through the beginning and too fast at the end. (On the other hand, Emperor's Soul is great.) Elantris is also the last Cosmere book I've read (still need to read Mistborn Era 2 and then I'll have read them all), so that could have some influence on it. As far as including short stories, definitely Hope of Elantris. But that was also written mostly for cheese in the first place, I think. It's hard to find things to legitimately dislike in the Cosmere.
  18. I was really wondering about that question too! This may be an uninformed question, but how do we know Nazh is from Threnody? Also, I like the motif idea, but I thought the quote maybe meant that Nazh's name had some reference to the Cosmere or had some connection to other characters we know? That was just the idea I had but I might have been reading too much into it. Thanks for the info on the naming of Threnody's planets too, that's really cool! Edit: Just face palmed there, realized the note about Nazh was in the Shadows for Silence postscript. Duh. I would still like to know if Nazh's name is relevant to anything else besides just fitting in with Threnody, though.
  19. The gameplay layout looks a little like an old Starwars Battles game I played, if it's anything like that it would be super fun! Plus putting together books and board games in general sounds like a great idea!
  20. When calling someone is a potato is a compliment, particularly if that potato happens to be in a minefield Also, when you're proud to be in this support group
  21. My first Sanderson book was Steelheart, so even though I love the Cosmere, Reckoners has a strong place in my heart. (Plus David is just hilarious). But at the same time I was pretty confused by the end of Calamity, so I really hope AG answers some questions about that rather than making it more confusing. I wonder how connected it will be to Reckoners, if it will have Epics or things, since I haven't looked at too much information about it yet. (And the bar is at 13% now :D)

    Ollo

I just read SotD today and it was great! While big epic world building like SA is awesome, it's pretty impressive just how much world building and characterization Brandon can get across in a short story too. My mind was blown when I realized what the picture in the front actually was. I wonder if the "Ones Above" are future worldhoppers? Also ordered AOL and BoM today

    Jasher

My biggest question is how Vasher/Zahel and Nightblood got separated once on Roshar. WoR spoilers and questions: Also I think Vasher and Jasnah would be hilarious, but I think (WoR and WoT spoilers) (not sure all the rules on spoilers yet, so I figured better be safe than sorry)
