    Well, I've only played ordinary Mafia before, but there, if a Lover role exists, both of them are called the same thing.

    Hm. Now I'm curious. There could be some interesting mechanics in place here. EDIT: Also, Jon was a Reckoner informations expert or something.. Maybe a scanner role? So now the Reconers are just killing blindly.

    I'm not accusing Mark of anything, Arinian. I'm just curious as to where he got that information. He seems to be pretty sure of it, having said that he's willing to share more info if we leave him alive. I'm accusing you, though, of trying to pass off Flash's death as him being Mint's lover, which doesn't seem likely, seeing as his role wasn't "Lover" as it should be in this case, unless Mint's role had some differences from an ordinary lover role.

    Yeah, OK, but if Arinian is right there was no Cabal kill last cycle. And, Mark, how do you know all of that stuff about the factions? Sure, we knew there are 4 factions, and thanks for letting us know about all this stuff, but how do you know so much about them? Doesn't exactly make me suspicious, just wary. How did you find all that info out? EDIT: Also, there was no vote manipulation on D2. Majestic was lynched, and since they were a Jester role the person with the second-most votes was lynched instead. Or that's what I think happened.

    I'd rather insult the Stormfather. He can't do much else other than bring Highstorms, the Nightwatcher could make my life hell, on the contrary. Would you rather live in Era 4 Scadrial or Silverlight?

    I actually said "realmatic theory" without even thinking when my current boss asked for my strengths during the interview. God knows I'm lucky that he's read Sanderson and lurks on the Shard

    I'll vote on Arinian because they did vote on Mint for no real reason, but also tried to pass off Flash's death as Mint's lover dying, which seems really suspicious to me, after the writeup clearly shows them as being killed with a knife.

    Uh Cole, Len asked you, I didn't. Yes, Ecth, I did assume it was a Cabal kill because she was killed in a lake of lava. I don't think the Reckoners or Malcontents can create lakes of lava. Pretty much, you're lynching me because I was right in my assumptions.

    You've got it easy, with fashion choices n stuff. I have to figure out how I'll actually propose to my girlfriend. Granted this is gonna happen in the next month or so, but still, kinda worried I'll make a fool out of myself.

    I find it funny that Mint's items were a mobile, video recording chip and handcuffs *Wink wink nudge nudge* But no, really. Dang. Cabal is taking quite a hit, 2 members dead already. I don't know how many members there are, but that can't be good for them. IDK if it's good for me, though, either. Winter seemed to have been killed by a Reckoner, considering it was a sniper attack. The Reckoners seem to be a pretty big threat right now. I'm not sure about Flash, though I do suspect it was an Epic kill. Mint's writeup was great lmao, I love how they included the influence of everyone that voted on them. I'd also like to apologize to Mint. I didn't see your roleclaim last cycle. And to Mint's counterpart, sorry for making you lose, I guess. Somebody said you probably turned into a SK-type role. Sounds plausible enough. I'd like it if you let me live a couple more cycles I also have a sneaking feeling that some of us will probably join the Reckoners RP after this

    Dead Beat was probably the most badass Harry Dresden has ever been. Books 12, 14 and 15 had me emotionally drained tho. Changes.. Dang. Lives up to its name, that's for sure. Cold Days had the reveal (You know what I'm talking about) and Skin Game's last few scenes had me on the verge of tears. But I'm fanboying at this point.

    I was joking, mate. I like birthdays. They're (usually) fun get-togethers with friends and loved ones. It's times like those when you realize exactly what an impact you've had on other people. Plus, the gifts are nice too

    *Sigh* Alright, I guess. Mint. This is more out of self-preservation than anything, really. I don't want the risk of the random lynch targeting me, as selfish as that sounds.

    Hm.. Idk. I'm not sure about lynching Mint. I don't wanna be at risk of a random lynch though.. I'll think about this, and vote a bit later, after I've looked through the thread again. Maybe I'll have something remotely solid by then.

    I'm dissappointed. We're talking about fantasy, and nobody has mentioned The Dresden Files (Granted, it's more contemporary fantasy, but it counts) or Codex Alera yet. Codex Alera is an insanely epic story with a great plot, but ok, it doesn't stand up to SA. The Dresden Files, though, is amazing. The first three books are less exiting, more pulp-y, but book 4 and onwards will have you hopping onto a rollercoaster of endless emotions, including but not limited to: HEART-WRENCHING SADNESS AND PAIN, joy, awe (See: Wizard revives biggest T-Rex fossil ever found to beat a group of evil magicians trying to create a new minor god through killing lots of people with an army of zombies on their side. In downtown Chicago.) etc. Long story short, Dresden is amazing. But I'll vote for SA cuz otherwise I'll feel like I'm betraying my people.

    No, I don't think they're getting too big. First off, let's talk about your examples. In Mistborn, TLR had not only trained men, but Skaa that could be used as cannon fodder, Allomancers galore and lots of Koloss. ASoIaF is as Dave said, in a wartime setting, and as such numbers as big as 100,000 are understandable. Haven't read Powder Mage yet, I really should In Stormlight, each Highprince has about 50,000 men if I'm correct. Maybe more. Together, that amounts to 500,000 or more, 700,000 if we're being generous and give each highprince somewhat more than that. Considering how big Alethkar is, and that being a soldier is one of the highest, if not the highest Calling, those numbers seem acceptable.
