The wittiness of insults seems to have dropped considerably. Just saying.

@Niteshado they are all so good! my favourite non-cosmere series would probably be Alcatraz, but that's five books long so...

OK this probably isn't right because I'm too lazy to do my research as well as the fact that its pretty late... But anyways. Curled up on the island Liz felt strangely disembodied and light. In the distance tiny lights blinked and around her tiny island was the seemingly endless sea of beads. She thought of Darle and wondered why her "tutor" had brought her here and simply.... abandoned her. An empty pit in her stomach expanded, as she grew to accept that she would perhaps be there until she died. Did one die in the Cognitive Realm? She didn't know. In the distance a group of lights began moving and flashing. Liz hugged her pale knees to her chest and shivered, as in the silence one by one the lights were extinguished by others. A tear dripped down her chin. Would Darle come back to get her? She thought of home, and knew she would do whatever it would take to get back. Liz started awake from her restless sleep. Something had woken her in the silence. Sensing something behind her, she slowly turned over fearful of what she might find. A tall girl with an unearthly air stood on the island behind her staring at her with eyes that drilled into her soul. She was translucent and when she moved, her blueish-white form almost seemed to melt and reform like liquid. She slowly stretched out her hand, palm upward - and in her hand formed a silvery medallion. word count: 226

I, too, exist! Finally my existential crisis is at an end...

Welcome! Have an upvote and a special machine (it's not a time machine unfortunately... It only removes spikes from your cookie) -
Welcome to the Shard! Have an upvote and a cookie-spike-remover.

Storms yes! Another Marvel fan on here! Welcome to the Shard. Have an upvote.

Dont really have time to speculate properly so I'll just say Jon

Adolin gets insecure and keeps hiding his actions... Meets a nice girl Shallan and Kaladin work together and realize they like each other: they get together Lift travels to Alethkar (sometime) and smashes into Kaladin on a mission Brandon will be awesome and do his amazing stuff as usual so that we can have something deep enough to discuss for the next couple of years

Welcome to the Shard! Hope you have fun here, and you are a super sensible person for not accepting cookies from strangers. ( @StrikerEZ rejected in advance )
-
Less serious? I feel like she needs someone to bring her more down-to-earth and bring out her more mature serious side. Isn't that exactly what Shallan is?
-
Ohhhhhh the irony...... sorry, couldn't resist
-
@Toaster Retribution or maybe a Transformer? That being said, you guys are all nuts.
-
Well then, Elenion since you put it that way
-
well, eat the cookie and welcome! I have given up warning people against the spikes in cookies - way too many people from dark alleys with endless supplies of cookies. Just spit the spikes out if you're sensible.

Sorry I haven't been on a lot recently I've been really busy the last couple of days. I am super conflicted because it seems a bit bland that Aster would just go "Yup he's a Voidbringer". How do we know that he's trustworthy?

Welcome to the Shard! Who is your favourite character so far in Brandon Sanderson's books?

Potential Spiderman Homecoming Spoilers So I went to see Spiderman Homecoming and I really loved it, but I know a lot of people were disappointed by it for this-or-that, and also for the reason that Zendaya didn't have a big part in it and she was expected to have a big role. How do you feel about Tom Holland as Peter Parker, what did you like/dislike about the movie, (and did anyone see the after-credit scene?)

This is Samar. Very quiet and skeptical. Not a worldhopper. She is going to lurk quietly in her corner, listen, and wait. (Actually, she's reading her book. But she can multi task! )
-
Well then since that's the case, I'll sign up as Liz Allan the Marvel fanatic, because we are both terribly confused about what is going on. If that's still possible. What's a GM? And can we get Spiderman to make an appearance? reference to Spiderman Homecoming

Somehow I can't see Shallan providing the 'real love that Adolin needs'. Adolin needs someone that isn't so busy running around and being a Radiant, and can focus more on being his wife and giving him the support and love that he needs. But that's just my opinion

I would sign up - except I am terribly confused at this, so I'll be a spectator please

Whoops didn't think of that. Just did it @Drake Marshall seems to have said it all. I definitely agree that it wasn't right (or ethical if you like) It may have been just but then I don't see killing as right/ethical in general. The men could have been locked away for life or dealt with in a less violent manner, and that would have been just as well; Jasnah was purely capable of doing that. Instead she coolly proceeded to end their lives. But yeah, as you said, ethics is complicated
