Sorry for the double post. (Stupid quote). But I read part of the first review, and it went on FOREVER, and it spoiled a HUGE part of the Eye of the World! (Which I am currently reading). Really bad review. And it took the person six MONTHS to read WoK. I understand taking time to read it, but that's just crazy. (I read it in 3 weeks). So, yah? I dunno. Also, you know you like books TOO much when your brother throws your REALLY NICE, BARNS AND NOBEL LIMITED EDITION FROM 2016 OF THE EYE OF THE WORLD AND THROWS IT ALMOST TO THE CEILING, DOESN'T CATCH IT, AND IT FALLS ON A HARDWOOD FLOOR, THEN RUNS OFF AND YOU CHASE HIM AROUND THE HOUSE, FINALLY CORNERING HIM RIGHT AS YOU MOM WALKS IT. Sorry. Got a bit carried away with the caps. But the book is pretty much OK. Something weird happened to the spine that I don't know how to explain. It's really bugging me. But it's still readable, so that's OK. Also, I need some advice. I'm trying to decide if I should be Vin or Lift for Halloween, or both. (I have a mistcloak and something I could use as Wyndle. I also have my ears pierced). I mean, both wouldn't be hard, 'cause they both pretty much wear the same thing. Sorry for the hodgepodge. Back on topic. You know you are a Sanderfan when these are the reasons you want to got to BYU: You and you best friend could be room mates Brandon Sanderson teaches there (I want to be an author, so being in Sanderson's class would be amazing). You would be one of many Sanderfan, instead of one of four, which is my current situation in my school. You would be so much closer to where lot's of signings are It's a really nice/good school

Some people are weird. Also, WHO ON ROSHAR WOULD GIVE A SANDERSON BOOK LESS THAN FOUR STARS!!! I would give them all (that I have read so far, except white sand and SA) four and a half stars. I'd give WS four, and SA five. Maybe fave for the MB books too... Or four and nine tenths.

When you are looking at reviews for TWoK and are genuinely upset that the first one you look at has 4.64 stars. (It should be 5). But there are 10,875 reviews. I need to read some of them...

When your whole family is listening to the Princess Bride, and it says something about honor, and you have to try REALLY hard to not shout 'Honor is dead! But I'll see what I can do." Or when you are going to have cookies for your birthday for a very specific reason pertaining to the shard... Or when you and your friend are texting, you say Sylphrenia instead of goodbye as that is Syl's name and SYL... I'll leave it at that. Or when you start reading Eye of the World, and thought you found Hoid. (I thought he was Thom). Or when you have 16 posts in this topic. (Including this one).

The exact same thing happened to me at girls camp. There is a person in my grade who has just read the SA, (his mom makes him limit his reading, so he hardly reads at all over the summer) and one of my friends wouldn't drop it! But we are are friends, I was the one to convince him to read SA, and he's also Mormon. There are lots worse people to paired with. Like, Lord Ruler forbid, a non-sanderfan. And @Ammanas, my mom loves to read, but I have a crazy four year old little brother, and she teaches online, and my dad has read MB, and liked them a lot, but he prefers skiing or hiking or fishing to reading. So, yah. That's probably the problem.

When you ask your perents if you read to much and they both say "Yes" at exactly the same time without hesitation. When you are really sad because your mom read Elantris and she didn't like it much. (FYI, my dad read Mistborn about 10 years ago). When you are SO STORMING HAPPY because you started rambling about the mists and he said, "Don't they kill people?" The only other things he remembered from the books were Kolos and Inquisitors. He thought the latter were killer Cole. He probably was thinking of Koloss.

When you relize the true reason your parents leave a jar of coins on the kitchen counter... Or when you are visiting the coast, and you look out of the window of the hotel, and see fog, start grinning as wide as can be, then stop because the fog isn't thick enough to be mist. Then you start grinning again because it's probably the closest you'll get. My grandma and sister were asking me what I was grinning about, and I said, you'd have to read some books to understand. Then my sister said, it's Brandon Sanderson isn't it? PRESERVATION!!!!!!

Agreed. I own WoK, WoR, and ALL of the Mistborn books in Mass Market. (WoK actually fits in my purse! It's a very small purse). I read WoK in that fourm and the first three Mistborn books. I got AoL in hardcover at the library, then I went to Barns and Nobel and got the last three in Mass Market. (Including AoL). But I use my Mass Market versions of the SA to take notes.

@Taliax Same! I bought all the Mistborn books in Mass Market for $50 and now I wish I had them all in hardcover. It would cost a ton though. I just need some Atium or Aluminum...

When you think everything on this thread is normal. Or when you have $70 worth of Sanderson books in your cart on Amazon, but realize that you spent your last $50 on the Wax and Wayne trilogy, Calamity, and Eye of the World.

When you want to make your parakeets mistcloaks. When you had a dream about going to a signing and being the last person in line and having a very long conversation about his books. But the signing was in the produce section in Walmart in front of where the apples were. Or when you hang the dust jackets from WoK and WoR an your bulletin board because you couldn't find posters of the cover are anywhere!

When you realize you NEED to convert your accelerated math teacher to the worlds of Brandon Sanderson. Or you start actually calling your friend Celia. (See 'Do you have a random person in the Cosmere who you turn into when you are bored' in creator's corner). Or when you start thinking of your younger brother as Tien. Or when you want to be your extream Sanderfan part of your brain for Halloween. (Mistcloak, bag of books, homemade SA t shirt, slave brands on a baseball hat, stuff like that). Or Tesh, (Again see 'DYHARPITCWYTIWYAB'). Or Shallan. Or when you think of your blue parakeet as an exotic blue chicken from Shinnovar.

Oh! I've been trying to read the other one, and I stayed up till three in the morning trying, and I'm only page 30 something...

Well, I was 8 when I read them, sooooooo, and I was 12 when I discovered Sanderson.... (People are shocked when they find out I was reading young adult in 3rd grade. And adult when I was 12). Where did I go wrong in my life? Also, I think this may be a double post, but I couldn't figure out how to put the quote in my other one...

When in Sunday school you are asked to draw ox and you try to draw chull, and the only other Sanderfan in the room starts cracking up. (But that might have been because they looked so bad). Or you find a piece of gray fabric and start plotting... The end result are two passable Mistcloaks. One for me, and one for my stuffed platypus.

Well, I'll just say this needed to happen. There are 2406 posts in part two. So expect lot's of random post's from me. You know you are a Sanderfan when you 1. Start calling two of your cousins Spanky and Fuzz, 2. You start calling pizza Chouta, 3. You and your best friend nearly die of laughter when a Lego man's arm falls off. I will forever more call that Lego man Lopen, 4. You run off with that same friend's boots cackaling madly, 5. You could swear you saw starspren one clear evening, 6. You call your weird paper thingys hanging from your fan seons, 7. When you start whacking the seons with a stick your friend threatens to take away your shardblade privileges, 8. You have the back of WoK memorized, 9. You have the boot scene from WoR memorized. Told you it was going to be random.

@Sami both my siblings are younger than me, and my sister will only read Harry Potter, and my brother is 4.
