  1. I'm not sure about how/why she died, but I have seen a few hypotheses on the forums about the boon and curse possibly being the same thing. He might have asked the Nightwatcher for a way to overcome his sadness of his wife's death, and She then made him forget her entirely. He doesn't miss her because he doesn't know her (boon), but he has whole parts of his memory, those of her, gone forever (curse). Some people find this a little too poetic of a curse/boon combo, since it's stated that the boons and curses do not have to, and a lot of times don't, correlate to each other.
  2. Is there a way for the fragmented power to resolidify and/or have a new vessel?
  3. Has it been confirmed that the Shard Honor has been destroyed irrevocably, like those on Sel? I know there are Splinters of Honor on Roshar, and that Tanavast is confirmed as dead, but since it is possible to Splinter a Shard without destroying it (Odium and the Unmade) is there a chance that Tanavast relinquished/passed on Honor before dying? If this already has a thread, links are appreciated!
  4. It would be cool if Netflix or Hulu adapted Arcanum Unbounded or some of his other short stories into an anthology series. It could serve as a little intro to the cosmere
  5. Thanks for the quick response! I had known about the worldhoppers using their systems off-planet, and that is what made me wonder if there could be 2 planets, not from the same system, that simultaneously had the same Shardholder as their "power source". I like your idea of being invested for a period of time. I had the paradigm of the Shardholder's effect either coming from a finite source (which would mean they could only affect one or a limited number of worlds) or infinite (and thereby would be able to affect as many as they wanted). But the idea of it being a sort of lingering effect that could become permanent if a threshold of time had been passed seems more in line with Realmatic Theory.
  6. Is it required for a Shardholder to be present in in a system for their powers of investiture to be present there, or can they bestow their powers as they go from world to world? For example, is it possible for Harmony to leave Scadrial and implement Allomancy/Feruchemy/Hemalurgy on another world without ruining it for those still on Scadrial? If so, could he create an entirely new system? Send me a link to an older thread if this has been discussed before!
