We know that style of movement was seen as a form of power, likely due to the energy provided by the city. COuld the bone shaping work better her as well?

WHy would the wealth represent gold mines? I agree there could very likely be something there, but gold is a human centric issues. If the elantrians coould create food from stone, surely it could have made other valuable material. THose sites would be considered valuable by the elantrians, seona or the dor. Possibly material that has a unique relationship to the power of the dor.

We can all agree that the city of the radiants was linked to other via oath gates. Moost likely the city was linked to every dawn city, which means every capital of the silver kingdoms. Do we know if any of the dawn cities were destroyed or abanddoned? If still around, likely to still be key cities for the lands around them. Imagine if the gates were repaire, and the alethi could march armies through. The assasin in white has been destabilising the whole of roshar, enough that if an army suddernly appears in the capital, could be enough to take power, or at least set up a power that ensures they follow their lead.

He is a surgebinder so a knight radiant, so automatically makes him a warrior without him ever touching a blade. They gave him his shard blade after all when they made him truthless. Shin that could be made into instruments of violence by birth, horror and shock would spread to the people.

The horn bearer is said to be almost as important as the DR, so who wanna bet, that the sounder is involved in their prophecies? Mat being the sounder would be a big asset to bringing the Seanchan on to their side for the last battle.

How many monks of bone do you think are at any one time? I think only one escaped Elantris, and the whole production of making monks seem to kill alot of the potential members. The head of the monastery hated the elantris people, so it seems as the head of the order he could have ordered most of the monks and the most powerful. Also the most powerful of abilities requires multiple sacrifices. We know there are now hundreds capable of drawing aons, so they potentially have an advantage. Enough to push the empire from the south, back into the mountains.

Breaths had to be willingly passed on, and only the awakener of an object can take back the breaths. Nightblood changes that, it can take the breaths from an individual and most likely an awakened object as well. Has nightblood ever fed on the returned? Everyone thinks color is the important factor, but awakening involves perfect pitch and similar characteristics. Breaths can be passed on to others, but what about something living like an animal or tree? I wonder why there are not more things purposely made to be awakened. Dolls, clothes tools, weapons, all could be better shaped for awakening on purpose. There will have to be a new treaty made what with the attempted invasion by lifeless even though it was stopped. There will be a difference, instead of ruled by priests, the kingdom is ruled by a returned. Set it up for both the high and low lands are united. If Siri can give a child to the god king, then that child becomes the ruler of the kingdom. The current king of Idris would for swear the throne, and become the Governor or Protector of the North, a new hereditary position. If the couple has no child then, the throne goes to the king of Idris, and any god king simply rules that city and local surroundings. There would be plenty of conditions and agreements to such an agreement. Lots of political moves. The thing is they might not be fans of awakening and the returned, but the Idris royal line is descended from a returned and carries a portion of their power, so if the magic is an abomination so are they. I bet the reason why the returned dont have children is a priest conspiracy. They are only fed enough breath, once a week. If they are given more then the women could support both themselves and the child. If all returned had kids, then they would not be that special and loose some of the holy. also, it might mean loss of power for the priests. However, THe royal family is descended from Vo, I think this was before awakening was really discovered, so it might not be breaths, but what if it is the flowers, the ones that produce dyes. THe gods at court could be specifically banned from eating them. A temple for Austere to be build in the court and in the Highlands neighborhood. A temple in each city to be sure. This could allow for Siri's sister to move to the city, also the clergy to help more people. Also every returned would have to be sent to the court of the returned. The god king would pay for the four passes to be fortified and rebuilt to allow easier and greater travel. As well as pay for all the roads in the kingdom to be built to a high standard. Such an act would secure the north and give many jobs. It would also ensure that trade and cargo could be moved easier. I know the low lands are on an inland sea, and there are four passes in the high lands, is this the only way to reach this region by land? Who are the neighbors? In the book it said it was between mountains so I think the whole region is surrounded and sheltered by mountains. I bet Mab the cook would be invited to come to the city just to make Siri happy. Kuth and Huth, I guess are kingdoms accessible through the northern passes. I bet that that the final member of the five will get angry at the princess so send his evil awakened army through the passes for revenge. Her father and brother would fall in battle, the god king would send the statue army to help end the threat of that evil army, so uniting the highlands, lowlands, and the kingdoms of Kuth and Huth. THe other kingdoms would not have a reason to interfere as the evil army was the attacker so started the fight, while the statues ended it.

WHat with their train system, I think trams a better bet. I think bicycles could be pushed along by allomancy. What with such a big impact of metal in their society, magnetism and electromagnetism will be big subject for them.

A Memory of Light: Hopes and Expectations

There are two places where the song is most likely to be found. The music box or library ter'angreal Elayne has, or if a Tinker decides to walk into the glass pillars in Ruiden to see his ancestors memories. I wonder if Rand with his acquired memories could give the song? -
It is said Brandon will help in the creation of the ultimate Wheel of Time Encyclopedia. Once of my hopes is that ever weave, talents, relic and ter'angreal is explained. So we know more what the one power can and can not do. We know Elayne has been able to partially copy ter'angreal, so if we had an explanation for what the could all do, we would know in what areas the Aes Sedai would expand to. I wonder if it would have a map containing every waygate, steaddings, portal stones, locations and sits mentioned in the books? Would he slip in detail RJ was planning for other books?

You know how New Spring was changed from a short story to an actual novel. What if the snippets we have seen of Shara or Seanchan, were expanded into short stories, giving us glimses into the world beyond the westlands. So when Rand went to Seanchan we could see more about those characters and region. We could see the forerunners leaving then racing back home. IN sharra, we could see them reacting to having no rulers. THe truth of that transported blight village. details on heir civil war.
-
One of the prequals was about Tam, about him just before, during and after he found Rand. THe other was to be about Lan and Moiranne as they made their way to the two rivers. I kinda want a prequal talking about before during and after the aiel war. What were the many named characters doing?

A Memory of Light: Hopes and Expectations

The Shadow Rising was around 390 000 words, so if memory of light truly is going to be the longest, we can expect something like 400000 or more. We know being linked makes it very difficult to be shielded against their will. the escaping group needs only reach the camped sisters out side the gate. Their combined power could literally reshape the entire black tower. Part of the prophercy was something about the grounds being damaged, what if it simply a canal being helped made and other improvements. Moiranne is important for the last battle, I wonder what she bar ginned with the finn? SHe will be part of the circle of callador, so will be involved in the sealing? -
What about tales of the Aiel, Sea Folk or even the Tinkers? What about stories of the steaddings and the groves? Instead of stories on the two river folk, how about some of their noble companions?

Does any one else think that if the Seanchan does attempt to collar men, they would use them to breed more channelers? We know that the only reason why damane are not bred now, as it is considered deviant for a man to lay with one. Sharra already have their own channeling breeding program. In fact they are like to have the most largest collection in the world. Male channelers would be very prized by Tuon, as they would allow her to reconquer her empire easily. They would shield the leashed and their holders with out ever being detected.
-
I can see Tuon opening her own schools, as well as finding all former illuminators and putting them to work. She will see Mat use his Dragons so eager to have her own. Her Seanchan people would put more faith in science, as they seem terrified of any channelers. THe cairhain school has created a steam engine, as well as a paddle boat. So I can seen the sea folk adapting and improving any sea based tech. They already have their own secret ship techniques. Steam engine would be easy for them to use, as their wind finders could heat them through channeling instead of coal. The cities that house the schools will become very tech savy, as well as competitive with each other. THe channeling colars are a big threat, but the thing is they represent the ability to circle with out being close. SAy they redesigned them, to simple bracelets and necklace, it would allow circles to be formed in emergencies and far more quickly. THe asha'man created their own form of warder bond so it is possible. With the last battle and the world afterwards, a great many will want to find if they can channel because they want to be safe, powerful or important. THe world will be broken, so channelers will be essential to remake the world.

For years the power was the domain of women, but now men can wield this power. I can see the border lands fans of them, finally soldier who make the blight burn. Rand remembers the life of the dragon, so he knows allot of weaves and knowledge. So they will be able to outstrip the white tower. Logain will likely get back his noble title, and likely his gheldan estates but increased in size. the queen would be eager to have asha'man support to return peace to her queendom. How many of the male character could potentially learn to channel? Perrin and elyas extremly doubtful, they will only have the wolfbrother gift. Mat, Galad and Gawyn are great choices as they each have a sibling that can channel, thom is a possibility as his nephew could channel. Lan is a good chance he has an ancient bloodlines so good chance of an aes sedai ancestor. Tam could be, the two rivers was filled with channelers. Male aiel and sea folk are more likely to have male channelers as wise ones and wind finders have children and marrages. Seanchan are also likly to have more ale channelers as sul'dam are honorable positions and likely to have children.

Not that I dont think Once Upon A Time is not cool but could we talk more about the book series please. Also, who want bet that Balefire is the unknown father of Henry. So crossing the streams of Balefire, linked moridin and Rand. SO much so that rand can channel the true power and Moridin can feel pain from rand. This weapon burns an object from the pattern, extending into the past depending on its strength. My guess that it linked these guys threads instead of simply destroying them. I have a theory that fain and moridin will be used to eliminate each other, so finally deal with the darkness. The original seals were corrupted and weaken by the taint on saidin. Ant thing the dark one touches, will be corrpted so one day break down. Some believed that if both sides of the power were used then both would have been tainted. There are 2 ideas: Use the true power against the dark one Use the ruby knife or aridhol to act as the focus of the new seal. Is the dark one afraid of bale fire? Could it or its power affect them more some how. It burns threads from the pattern, could it burn the dark ones toch or presence from the pattern.

WHile Aes Sedai has to deal with wind finders, Wise ones, the kin, as well as the ladies of the adam, the Black tower is the sole authority for men. Currently in those group, male channelers are dealt with, but if they make deals or alliances, they could get new source of recruits. As a man is needed to allow for the creation of bigger circles, and more advanced weavings, then they can set up a great deal for themselves. Unfortuantly, they have a new problem. THe presence of the male Adam, male channelers are now a valuable resource to the Seanchan. It would give them a common enemy so to make an agreement with the free female channelers. The Black tower itself will most likely survive in some form through the last battle. THe Black tower foretelling suggests its current location may get destroyed. There are two locations that would fit them, Dragonmount and Tar Valon. Elaida palace could be altered. But it would depend on agreements with the aes sedai. Dragonmount could be reshapped using the power, but the thing is as it is on a vulcanoe, danger some one could mess with it.

A Memory of Light: Hopes and Expectations
.S.A.M.K.M replied to .S.A.M.K.M's topic in The Wheel of Time
The cover art for the story is published. Its Rand with callador, with two women in the back ground. Best guess is it is Moiraine and Nynaeve, the first as she is wearing blue with grey in her hair with a blue jewel on her fore head, the second is she is wearing a yellow dress with a red dot on her forehead. We know that for Rand to use Callador, he needs two Aes Sedai, so we guess this is them. We know that Moiraine make sure she got that very powerful angreal. I wonder if to balance those two angreal, Nynaeve will have to use the wand sa'angreal. "Twice dawns the day when his blood is shed. Once for mourning, once for birth. Red on black, the Dragon’s blood stains the rock of Shayol Ghul. In the Pit of Doom shall his blood free men from the Shadow." There are four blood relatives of Rand in the story, Galad his half brother, his son and daughter still to be born, as well as his shadow twisted uncle, now only existing as Slayer. THe wound in his side contains the taint of the dark one and of marshadar. One has been heal, the other contained. Rand could use a similar weave to contain the dark one's touch. THe blood contains the physical presence of the dark one, similar to liquid saidin. USing that as a basis, he can somehow seal it away. THe seals were heartstone, but crumbled to pieces as they were forged using saidin and the dark ones taint broke them. SO to ensure the dark one is stoped, the seal has to made in a way the dark ones touch cant harm it. WHat if Rand makes the Ruby dagger the seal? THe city of aridhol drew the taint into it and annhilated each other. WOuld the dark one and marshadar consume each other. That is one way to forever end the cycle. Mordeth is somehow linked to Rand, but it seemed to be lessened when he was bonded by Alanna. Since then he has been bonded by his three lady loves, as well as a unique connection to Moridin. He also has been marked and healed of the power of aridhol. If the warder band be transfered, i wonder if the link to mordeth or moridin could be transfered to each other? The taint on saidin was destroyed with contact of aridhol, could something similar used to deal with the dark one. The twice dawn is an eclipse. It marks the death and birth of an age. So a normal dawn, then the eclipse. Did any one know he also used a short blade, I wonder if it is a sword breaker. -
Every one was hoping it would be published for the chinese new year, as it is the year of the dragon. I wonder will they release the final book of the series, just as the year of the dragon ends instead.

A Memory of Light: Hopes and Expectations

From Aviendha visions, we know there was such a thing as the dragon peace, which the Seanchan agreed to. It makes me wonder if that peace was forged at these fields. So that would mean Rand sent an invitation to Tuon. But the thing is greadal is already laying her hooks into her. The prophercy about the wolf death has known, that could apply to hopper or slayer? The best hope for those trapped in the tower, is to march as quick as they can to the aes sedai camp outside. they dont know the range of the travel blocker, but the forces of taim, would not dare face the power of the aes sedai circled with asha'man, his men would be shielded and bound with out any delay. Do the aes sedai know how to hide their channeling. When fixing the bore, will he use both sides of the power, or that and that dark power moridin also uses. Wanna bet the blood will come from the never healing wound. The ruby knife will be important, this will be the first time the taint of aridhol would be able to attack the dark directly. We wont see fain attacking rand untl the three ta'veren are united once more. When was lan sent to world's end, enough time for some word to head south, so some asha'men of malkieri will be there. we know the border lands are allied, so is there a chance that the other four nations are sending an army. The aiel dont like seanchan, neither does the seafolk, both have lost channelers to. I wonder with the white tower raid, will he allow them to travel to steal back the damane and as many sul'dam as they can carry. the wise ones can talk to their captured sisters in dreams to get numbers and locations. The wolves know the battle is coming, so where will they attack. Loial is gathering the ogier for war, if the ways are cleansed, could they use this to march for war. -
I have warbreaker, elantris, way of king, and the mist born trilogy, so which are the best way to read them. Irealise they are sepperate, but they are each a fragment of the same universe so what order would be best.

So devin will go to the other house, tel them that he is the whole of his house power but in hiding due to house sserein, so ask aid to strike back. What if the priestss keep the emporer isolated as he is the head of that power, so capable of stripping it from all.

We know Perrin will somehow go after slayed and the dark hounds, but what about the dagger Holder? THe sole powerful evil creature, that is not bound to the dark one, paidin fain what will he be doing. I wonder if he is needed to harm the darkone, apoison that even he and his forces cant deal with. WE know tuon is in danger, and she is also needed by the aiel to preserve them. We also know grendal is manipulating her now, so I wonder if avienda will be making her move.
