  1. In Alloy of Law, Wax says there are 2 kinds of Mist these days. One is white and 'fluffy', and the other is darker and 'aggressive'. I kind of thought one was Preservatiin's mist and the other was Ruin's mist.
  2. Well Dam for simplicity through world hopping, lol. Bendalloy can still be gotten for Ettmetal Cores. Crops growing etc. -------- And I apologize for starting a tangent, but could the "Mist" be condensed into trace metals, I haven't found a Brandon Q&A discussing the possibility
  3. I would say "currently", with Era 3 being a space opera Bendalloy could become attainable through Rosharian Soul Casting or Sel's AonDor. And since Atium is "technically just a metal", it might be reproduced using similar methods. ** I don't know if Atium is a 'God metal' because of its composition or it Connection to the Shard Ruin.
  4. I think copper compounding would create multiple copies of the stored memories, which would allow the Twinborn (or others) to tap the metal mind ×2 for perfect recollection. Secondly I believe a Double Twinborn should be able burn someone else's metal mind and store the contains. However, this is far inferior to regular Compounding except with Copper. Of course BoM changes the importance of being a natural Twinbown
  5. Is it possible on a Samsung to put spoilers in your post?
  6. Fair points all. Thanks for putting so much thought into your reply! I would disagree with Denth, he suffers from severe depression and self loathing. (He wanted to die) I agree with Khriss, which was my point. Her goal is to chronical the Cosmere, a focus to her long life. I wanted to know what grandiose mission would give Kel purpose in the centuries to come?
  7. That's what I thought. Question answered! I just figured if the 5 scholars had followed the scientific method they would have done proof of concept experiments before making the leap to creating Nightblood
  8. I had considered the effects of Atium alloys and their external /internal reversal. Making Steel/Iron difficult and Brass/Zinc weird. My question, who can burn Malatium? Only Mistborn or Gold and Atium mistings too
  9. Feruchemy would normally win. Although I'm personally biased as I really like Feruchemy. There is no real upper limit to tapping metal minds, so in a duel 5 times strength and speed for 30 seconds would win. Now in a melee 5 v 5, so bigger. A team of Mistborns would normally win against a team of Ferchemist's
  10. Great I really wanted to know Mizzy's "future" was after Calamity ended
  11. I would suggest starting with Mistborn Era 1 first. Elentris or Warbreaker next. Then Stormlight Archives (though you already them) If you feel enough time has passed, you can read Alloy of Law haha
  12. I have done the contact form at least twice with no results sadly. I'll try the Facebook thanks!
  13. Feruchemy for sure! It may not be the most impressive magic (Alcomancy / Surgebinding) but it's uber balanced and very practical if your world isn't ending
  14. How does one change their title? Nothing wrong with being a Skaa, but I would rather have Feruchemy
  15. Hello 17th shard, I have been reading Sanderson's books for several years and come up with several theories often in a fan fiction dynamic. Unfortunately the questions I sent on the Brandon Sanderson website were not answered in 4 to 6 weeks (or at all!) So after trying other authors, I'm back and more "Invested" now lol. Small question: Is Kriss, 17th Shard etc.. Immortal because they have all visited Nalthis and have lots of Breathe? Big Question: Are Shards technically Cognitive shadows? More to come
  16. When I first read Warbreaker I thought considering the rules of Awakening, wouldn't a wooden club (Scardinal dueling cane) be a more logical and cost effective vessel than a sword? Theories: 1. Sanderson really liked the idea of super powerful talking sword and wrote one into his book "come he'll or high water" haha 2. Vasher's wife didn't realize the Shardblades on Roshar were sentient and recreating one would give the resulting sword a "mind of its own". *** I apologize if this topic has been asked in another thread
  17. It is very possible; however with water being the rarest and most valuable thing to have on Taldain why would a Sandmaster try to "slatrify" a different substance. There is Investitures in the sand on Taldain which (regardless of your opinion of how slatrify's mechanism works) helps the transformation of the sand.
  18. I concur that a Lerasium-Pewter alloy would just make you a Pewter misting. If you were already a Misting, say a Zinc Misting would a small amount of Lerasium just make you a stronger Rioter or a weak Mistborn?
  19. I'm guessing with the introduction of the Medallions and the resurfacing of Hermelugy people with more than one Feruchemy power with show up in the book! So Feru Feru Compounding will become a thing again. Because Sazed was a scholar not a warrior we didn't hear of these methods. What are your thoughts? I believe tapping F Iron can help store F Pewter; tapping F Pewter can help store F Gold; etc...
  20. Hmmm, the red eyed "creature" (probably Kandra) at end of Bands of Mourning
  21. Not out of thin air, the spikes would be made in the usual fashion. Harmony is half Ruin after all, and change is part of that intent
  22. And I suspect the Mistwraith's are gone because otherwise Harmony could have "blessed" new Kandra
  23. I didn't think of that. Though a strong Copper Cloud would probably protect him from other Alcomancers, but I see why he wouldn't risk Ruin having a chance to control him.
  24. Actually in Final Empire, Vin watches Sazed in the LR's jail shrink while storing and expand when he taps Pewter
  25. I am very curious what Sanderson is gonna do with Kelsier. Immortality caused all the Heralds to go crazy in one way or another, add Kel's laundry list of Powers and things would get boring
