  1. Today I had a lot to deal with mentally irl and I just couldn't get around to doing much in the game. It's getting a bit discouraging having so many players and not much activity. It feels like we're only playing with maybe 10 people at most. Makes it hard to read the game when so many people aren't really even playing. I don't know who I want to vote for at this point and I need to go to sleep. I might not be on before this rollover but if I am I'll try to see where a vote might be needed. Maybe I'll feel less dramatic after some sleep.
  2. @Lord_Silberfarben it won't let me quote your post cuz mobile is being stupid right now. Thanks for posting! Not at all annoyed at this conclusion lol. I made it sound confusing. Yes I did vote for Mist and do think she did some interesting stuff that looked suspicious but in the end she wasn't evil. The thing that looked weird to me was that I came back at the end of the cycle and saw that there were 5 votes on her and even tho people were saying they didn't like the lynch on her they weren't really trying to change it that much either which made me feel she was probably village at that point. Because generally an elim will have more backup then that. So yes, I did vote her and also found her suspicious. The thing I found weird was that she wasn't defended by an alternate lynch train which generally means not an elim. I came back online too late to try and change the lynch because I had been asleep. I thought that even if I took my vote off of Mist it wouldn't have saved her anyways and would've ended in a tie because I miscounted the votes with only like 3 min left in the cycle. So it wasn't that I found what she did to no longer look suspicious, it was that she didn't have very much support moving the lynch off of her which I would expect to happen for an elim since they'd already lost 1 member.
  3. 5 votes isn't a crazy size but it is when there's very little pushback. Almost proves the person is village unless they were outed as an elim bigtime for some reason and that's not what happend. While her actions did look suspicious to me I was surprised that her lynch got 5 votes. Regardless I wanted to know her alignment so I can go back and analyze Fura and Kidpen better which was my goal. So I did get what I wanted in that at least.
  4. Okay I thought there were 6 votes on Mist since Sart put it in red twice in 2 different posts (since he was correcting himself from saying Mint and not Mist the first time) and I did a quick scan for votes in the thread at the end of the cycle. Mist was right we could've switched the lynch if both me and Elkanah had switched to Karnage. I don't know if Karnage is that suspicious either tho and I would need to look back at their posts. I don't remember a lot from them. That train got out of hand. 5 votes and almost no pushback. The last I saw there were maybe 3 votes? When I checked out for the night. Enough to lynch someone but also enough time for people to mount a defense or alternate lynch targets they'd push if she'd been an elim. When I got online today I saw 2 more votes for her and no real pushback other than people saying they disliked the lynch but not really working together to change it. Edit: at this point it's getting hard to narrow down real suspects because we don't have enough of our big player list of people actually being active. If everyone could make at least one game related post this cycle we'd have so much more to go on. Doesn't have to be a lot guys, just one paragraph, even if it's just stuff you're feeling loosely based on gut feelings from skimming thread.
  5. Yikes this huge train makes me really not want to lynch Mist but it's too late now and I just woke up.
  6. #thonk, not sure of anything I've done to look sus but I am glad you're gonna look back at the events. Also we need more people to vote >> And I'm super worried about a lot of people getting killed to inactivity filter. Please post! I don't wanna lose this game cuz we lose like 5 people in one cycle @A Joe in the Bush @Kynedath @Zillah care to say hi? Just one sentence will keep you alive!
  7. Wow @Sart making it look like I voted Fura and then @Karnage following Sart's vote when I posted about it first. Rude I started this vote lol (just teasing you by the way xD)
  8. Honestly it comes down to playstyle. I think El was suspicious of it which is why she called it out in the first place. It feels like it should've been more of an "I'm suspicious of you for going to us in PMs where you can silently influence people without the whole village seeing the interaction and looking suspicious" rather than making it look like TGK "shouldn't" do that based on meta stuff. So I feel it was something that felt sus to El but was in no way wrong on TGK's part. It's a matter of differing opinions. I feel it does look a little suspicious for someone to take it all to PMs but that doesn't mean it's wrong to do it. Their are benefits to keeping yourself alive as a villager and no reason not to try and get people's attention better by PM'ing them.
  9. I shall! I'll be voting for Mist for these reasons and these interactions. post by Fura: response by Mist: Post by Mist: Post by Kidpen: My theory is that Mist might've been the only elim online at the time. (an hour before cycle end) and may have been looking for any alternate lynch other than Rae. She said she wanted to break a tie, didn't suspect Rae and so voted for the next person on the list, that being Fura. But they had no reasoning for why Fura was suspicious or a better target than Rae. They also said it was just convenient to sheep Fura's vote on Kidpen. I'm confused why an elim would be this obvious but it doesn't really line up either. They just talked about wanting to break ties but voting on kidpen made it a tie between Rae and kidpen at that point, so exactly opposite of what they said they would do. The other reason i'd like to vote Mist is because I feel it would provide insight into both Fura and Kidpen. Two people which I can't get much of a read on currently.
  10. @The_God_King I also forgot to mention that if the elims had wanted to sacrifice Rae for one cycle with a free roleblock they wouldn't have also put in a kill order that put a villager in the doc. Having Rae in the doc does nothing other than possibly allow her a voice on who to roleblock but she will be massively outnumbered for the majority of the game i'm sure. All around the only reason at all to bus an elim cycle 1 this game would be for trust and that's not a good enough reason to lose an elim in a game with a butt ton of villagers. To everyone else, please don't lynch TGK for this. It screams villager to me and I don't think elim would be so bold as to push these theories directly after striker took so much heat for it and was lynched. I honestly feel like this will be a throw away lynch. I'm gonna go back and look at more posts but for now i'm guessing there's a good chance we have a few less vocal elims since a lot of the people posting are feeling pretty genuine. Edit: not saying that bussing couldn't happen and doesn't happen but that early in game with no reason for Rae to be bussed because she had no current sus on her before I voted on her is a lot less likely. Also if they were gonna try and do anything like that it would be more likely to be a WGG on an elim with a med kit.
  11. I was involved in both lynches and one was an eliminator on cycle 1. I think that's kind of an important distinction between 2 lynches. When I play I generally make sure to be one of the players on the winning lynch because I believe in trying to get someone lynched each cycle and I also push candidates I suspect and try to back up my case. With striker I didn't get a chance to do as heavy analysis but he was up for the lynch and I couldn't tell if he was being over the top villager or trying to cover himself for trying to save Rae. I'm almost always around for rollover every game and I will swing lynches if I can when I think they need to. Very common for me to vote within the last 10 minutes to solidify a lynch. Glad I did because there would've been a 4 on 4 and no lynch would've happened. Edit: that being said, I'm less inclined to think you're an elim because going after 1 of the most trusted villagers at this point in time would be way too bold of a move. I'd have no reason to bus an elim teammate day 1 just for trust or for a foothold in the roleblock for 1 cycle. Wouldn't be worth it. The elim team needs their numbers even more than the village does.
  12. yeah i noticed it was different this time but knew that was the correct order for our votes on Rae lol
  13. me then megasif then sart copied from cycle 2 writeup
  14. hopefully i don't die this cycle, i want to do more analysis xD currently i'm feeling like Drake might be village as well as Sart and Megasif possible elims fura, kidpen, aman,
  15. Finally caught up. Eesh...I feel like I should have more of a hunch this time but I'm lost. People doing good at hiding or distancing. I just woke up not too long ago and caught up on the thread. Dang @DrakeMarshall nice to see another long poster in a QF lol (your post sounded very villager to me) I might need to go back through but not sure if I have time. To ensure a lynch I'll also vote Striker for now. (Will color when I switch to desktop) while I do find the stuff he's saying easily said by elim!striker I also feel like like he'd say it as village!striker. I would say voting Fura could've been to save Rae because from what I recall of being on a team with Striker before and seeing him as an elim he is the type to try and save an elim teammate and sometime at the cost of looking too obvious. (Sorry not trying to be insulting, just saying you go the extra mile to save teammates) But I also could see it just being him in the wrong place at the wrong time. I think we just got supremely lucky with Rae. Anyways, too groggy to review and post large amounts before the end of this cycle. Will be back with more later cuz I'm off work today.
  16. Maybe you are:P It's fine, I did clarify in my post that I disagreed "in part" with Rae cuz I didn't want people being like "oh you just contradicted yourself" lol
  17. Feels like you are:P lol I think you're just an elim worried I'm too trusted now (just teasing him in case others think I'm actually sus xD) Duuuuuude I can't believe Rae flipped elim I'm so happy and feel proud even tho I feel like Rae is probably super mad at me cuz I feel like what she was saying might've been something she'd say as a villager too. Don't hate me Rae! xD It was honestly all I could really find for a cycle 1 lynch. If anyone was checking the bottom of the page they clearly would've seen me online for the entire cycle after I voted and I was keeping up with everything. I even rp'd once after that vote. So it clearly wasn't me posting early for distancing with the hopes of taking the vote off later. Even if I was an elim it was kinda clear that I wanted to lynch Rae. Oh also @StrikerEZ I was never agreeing but not agreeing with Rae in the way you made it sound. I was consistent. I disagreed with part of her posts and agreed with other parts and I specified as much. I'll do other analysis later if I can but for now I just got off work recently and have been awake for over 17 hours.
  18. Calypso glanced at the man doing all the unnecessary talking and pulled her hood further down, watching where her feet fell so as not to step on a branch or a leaf and make extra noise. The silver lining, she thought, is that the shades haven't heard all this ruckus. She shook her head. She stopped walking when Kendel asked if they should make camp. Finding that ring of silver would've been nice. Especially with all this noise in our group. She didn't have the same trouble others had at keeping quiet. Even if she fell and skinned her knee or sliced her hand she would keep quiet. She didn't have a choice. She was a mute. Living in this part of the world she had come to be grateful for this gift. She looked to the others, waiting to see what they would decide about camping for the night.
  19. Okay so my 2 hour nap turned into an early night of 8 hours of sleep so I'm here finally. A few things from reading through the thread. I think the knives are best used towards the middle game. Using them on any of the first 2 cycles at least is basically useless because no one has generally done or said enough to be worth killing. Saving them till late game is risky cuz you need to be right but you have more info than you would early game at least. The thing is, if you haven't found anyone you really suspect until late game then you aren't instantly suspicious for saving your knife lol. It's yours to decide what you do with which is part of the game, but it is good to listen to others opinions. (Gee now I sound like I have a knife xD) But yeah, middle game is ideal because you should have at least 1 suspicion by then I should hope. Also, I'd be really wary of passing knives. If I was gonna die and had a knife I might not pass it just because you don't know the alignment of who you're passing it to. I obviously would know my own alignment and I think having a knife out of play might be safer than passing it to an unknown. Anyways enough rambling about knives. As far as other stuff that stood out to me... @StrikerEZ acting suspicious as usual no matter his alignment I like how @Arraenae pointed out that saving knives till the end was dangerous. @Megasif giving village reads on Elkanah and Cadcom and soft sus on Striker isn't really alignment indicative but I love lists like these to look back on when people die since interactions make up very important webs. I do like this part of @Karnage post: Agree with all this. (By the way I'm on mobile and hate having my posts get lost or deleted so I'm using 2 tabs if you're wondering why I'm copy pasting and not quoting lol) @Furamirionind I'd hesitate using anything to soft clear players cuz I never trust GMs to do what I would do or what I think "should" be done. This always gets risky and leads to trickery. Especially if someone got passed a knife before a player was killed and then just claimed to have had it all along. @Elbereth no special privileges, we're gonna kill you cycle 1 muahahaha jk Although I don't really like this cuz asking it makes it look like you're either soft clear village or elim using a not very nice tactic to be safe from the lynch for a couple cycles. A better way would've just been to ask everyone to give you a cycle or 2 if they don't mind. Rather than specifically referencing the elims. It makes it feel a little too "out of game but also still in game". Not trying to be mean or anything, just not sure it was the best way to go about it. (I should really have not started this on mobile. Now it won't let me tag people anymore ugh) Anyways what @Kynedath said about using knives sooner rather than later, I think it should be more like later rather than sooner lol. Using them middle to late game. Because simply using a knife just because it's getting too far into the cycles might not be the best thing to push. Having an extra kill late in the game can be useful even if it's risky. I think that's all I'll say for now cuz I'm groggy and tired of sifting through the thread for the second time. Gonna have one more quick look back through for who I found less village. (Since cycle 1 that tends to be the way I view it more) Quote from @Arraenae (I'll go back on my laptop and actually tag these people) Just because we have a lot of bodies doesn't mean we should see them as more disposable. I'd like to keep the village count as high as possible and shooting blind at the start of game isn't a good way to go imo. I think I'll put my vote on you for now just because this seems a little like not caring if villagers die which should be bad regardless of the cycle because that's how we get into low number areas quicker. It's not a hard sus at all, just enough of one for a cycle 1 vote when I got not much else. Arraenae (again, will color when I switch to laptop) I also have Fura at a soft sus just for the thing about soft clearing people with knives. If they had actually pushed that I would've voted them instead. Edit: while I admit to having said I liked what Arraenae said (about knives being saved till late was dangerous) early in my post, I think it was good to point it out but I don't agree with her line of thinking that early game is better than late game as I think middle to late is best and more beneficial for not racking up a body count with less info on people and less solid suspicions.
  20. StrikerEZ was lynched! They were a Traitor with a vest item. Kidpen has been attacked and killed! They were a Loyal with a knife item. Village wins! You have caught all of the traitors! Player List: This game ended up way more complex than I intended originally. I wish I could've given it the proper time. I'm very sorry everyone for all the delays and the huge pause at the end of the game. Life handed me some hard crap and then I got really busy irl. I hope you all still had fun. Thank you for bearing with me and being active. I want to finish all the story when I get the chance. I just couldn't go any longer without putting up the results for you. I've felt so horrible about it. Thank you so much for playing!
