"We should kill it," the first man said. His friend nodded, and they both set off in opposite directions to convince the other patrons of their plan. Most people were too exhausted by the emotional strain of the last couple of days, but they did get a couple of extra hands to help. Starting with those of the tap room they searched each satchel and anywhere there could possibly be a doll. They got a nasty shock when they got to the room of Steeldancer because instead of finding a doll, they found a body. "Uh," the first man said, eyes wide. Okay, I am SO SORRY about the delay. I'm afraid real life got in the way a bit more than expected. I ended up not being able to sit all day today. Hopefully though this won't happen again. --- The thoughts of death made everyone jumpy the next day, but you couldn't tell by the sound of the inn's main room. The sound of laughter and conversation was loud -- too loud, if Lion were to be asked. But of course, no one did. Maybe he should have said something for himself. Maybe it would have saved him. Instead, he sat in the corner, grimacing at the outburst of laughter from the next table over. It was garish to be having fun while there were three bodies buried outside the back door. Especially since no one knew what was causing them. As the sun moved across the sky he took notice of discussion about a doll of some sort, as well as something about being in the mud, but continued to keep his thoughts to himself. It was right about dinner time that the tone of the room changed, and he noticed a few more glances in his direction then normal. He tried to brush it off as simply the situation, but did make sure to keep an eye on all the exits. He's attempts were too few, and too late. Okay, so cycle is over. Since I won't get a chance to put up the new topic until tomorrow morning, I'll leave this unlocked for now.

Temperance wasn’t sure if her dinner had an extra spice due to satisfaction, or if it truly did have an extra kick, but either way it was the best meal she could remember having. She sat in her corner sipping her drink long after the crowd had come back into the Herring, discussing what parts of Rubix’s body they thought would fit their needs the best. I should probably get a bit of that myself she thought. Standing, she drained her cup and considered. It’s a good thing he’s inside of the line, or this would get really hard. Stepping outside she put a small cut on his neck and started to collect the blood. Her scream of terror caused the entire tap room to freeze before stumbling out. On the ground, in a pool of her own blood Temperance seemed like the embodiment of karma. “Death begets death,” someone said, a smug tone to their voice. “I read that in a book once.” “Reds’ yard ain’t safe no more,” Nero said, shaking his head. “That’s rich, coming from you,” someone in the crowd said. “Yeah,” someone else said. “You seem a lot scarier than Rubix ever did.” And that’s all it took. Within a half hour Nero had joined Rubix on the tree, just inside the line of silver to mark the start of the inn’s yard. Wilson has died! Eternum was lynched! Player list: 1. Haelbarde - 2. Temperance had seen the troublemaker once before, and the second she saw him step into the taproom of The Herring she knew what she had to do. Fortunately, she had the ear of important people. “He’s nothing but trouble,” she whispered, placing a drink in front of her best friend. “Who, Rubix? He seems innocent enough to me,” her friend said, glancing across the room. The object of their attention had a hat pulled over his eyes, and seemed to be asleep. He wasn’t fooling Temperance. “He does,” she agreed, “Right up until he goes crazy on you. You’ve heard of what happened with that sword, right?” “He’s responsible for it?!” Another patron said from Temperance’s other side. At her nod, he glancing at Rubix again with a new wariness in his eyes. She couldn’t hide her glee when she was able to bring the magistrate into the conversation. It took all her self control to not let a self-satisfied grin cover her face when the word “lynch” was first whispered. However as the troublemaker was yanked out of the inn, she allowed herself a small smirk. After all, the best way to deal with a troublemaker was to simply… eliminate them. Take that for trying to sneak into my game! So, just a bit of a heads up for everyone: where I work I am not able to have access to technology. This means I have about a nine to ten hour stretch where I have very limited access to this game. So if I take a while to reply, please know I will take care of it as soon as I can. Here soon I'm hoping to have an assistant, but day one is going to be a bit hectic.

It's a bit of a different game, since you're goal isn't to kill before killing, but rather figure out why the killings are happening, and stop them before it's too late. It's theoretically set on Threnody, but aside from a bit of flavor it doesn't matter. If you haven't read the story it's not an issue at all! (Just know the setting is old west trappers and such.)
